Abstract: A camera having a structure in which a colorimetric value is not influenced by the color tone of a main object to be photographed. The camera, in which a film having a data recording section can be loaded, comprises three light receiving portions differing in spectral sensitivity. Based on the output from the three light receiving portions, a colorimetric section measures a color tone of light surrounding the object to be photographed. The light receiving portions are arranged on a front portion of the camera and are arranged so as to receive light at a range larger than an angle of a photographed view. Based on the output of the colorimetric portion, a color correction amount determining portion determines a color correction amount during a printing operation. The data as to the color correction amount is recorded on the data recording section of the film by a recording unit.
Abstract: An apparatus for inserting date information into given positions within the frames of film loaded in a camera. If it is impossible to modify the date, or if the user finds that the date is erroneous, the apparatus permits photographs with correct date to be printed. The apparatus has a CPU including a first RAM for storing the present date information. When frames of the film are used for photography, date information is inserted into the given positions, using a date information inserting LED array. When the present date information is modified by operating date switches, the difference between unmodified date information and modified date information is calculated and stored in a second RAM. The number of frames is also stored. When the film is rewound, the aforementioned difference and the number of frames are read out and inserted in the leader of the film. When the film used for photography in this way is printed, the date information, the difference, and the number of frames are checked.
Abstract: An information recording device of a camera permits recording of more photographic information with an appropriate recording density without monitoring the film feeding speed constantly. The information recording device includes a recording assembly that records photographic information on a film recording area of film during film feeding. A feeding speed control assembly reduces the film feeding speed at a first time if the recording of photographic information is complete by the first time after the start of the recording assembly. The feeding speed control assembly reduces the film feeding speed at a second time after the first time if recording of the photographic information is not complete after reaching the first time. The feeding speed control assembly controls the feeding assembly to stop film feeding at a third time after reducing the film feeding speed.
Abstract: A photographic format indication system for a camera having at least two selectable photographic formats. The indication system identifies the photographic format of previously exposed frames of film in the camera following an exposure of a frame. The indicated format is maintained after a photographic format is no longer selected. The indicator may be an electronic display or a symbol printed on a firm cartridge.
Abstract: In a camera which is provided with a clock which operates according to electrical power supplied from a battery, the date and time of photography are imprinted based upon the date and time output from the clock. When the changeover of the battery is detected, the recording of the date and time of photography is prevented, and when the date and time of the clock have been reset the prevention of recording of the date and time of photography is ceased.Further, in a camera which is provided with a clock which operates according to electrical power supplied from a battery, and with a display device which alternatively displays either the date and time output from the clock or the film frame number, when the changeover of the battery is detected, forcibly the date and time output from the clock are displayed on the display device.
Abstract: A film feeding amount detection apparatus of a camera includes a roller device which rotates in a driven manner with respect to the movement of a film, a reflecting device which shares the use of the rotation shaft with the roller device and which is formed into a polygonal pillar shape such that a plurality of reflecting surfaces are formed on the outer periphery of the rotation shaft, and a light projection and receiving device, which is disposed at a position facing the reflecting surfaces formed on the reflecting device, for projecting light to the reflecting surface portion and receiving light reflected back therefrom.
Abstract: Data positions and character orientations are quickly and reliably determined by a data copying device of a camera. Data relating to photography such as date and time, exposure value, and the like is copied inside or in the vicinity of a photographic field of a film.
