Abstract: A camera and method are disclosed which provide a photographer with a picture composition guide that may be viewed through the viewfinder. Standard composition points corresponding to golden section points are displayed for the photographer to see. LCD's or LED's are used to display the composition points, and an external display portion allows the photographer to check a display state of the standard composition points.
