Including Cam Means Patents (Class 396/478)
  • Patent number: 8496389
Abstract: When a second cam gear and a first cam gear rotate one turn, a shutter device changes to a first state, a second state, and a third state in this order. In the first state, the second cam gear charges a mirror lever drive spring and a blade drive spring, so that the first cam gear holds the blade lever. In the second state, the second cam gear releases charging of the mirror lever drive spring and charges the blade drive spring, so that the first cam gear releases holding of the blade lever. In the third state, the second cam gear releases charging of the mirror lever drive spring and charging of the blade drive spring, so that the first cam gear releases holding of the blade lever.

  • Patent number: 8491203
Abstract: A shutter base plate is formed with a first shaft parallel to an optical axis of a photographic light flux, and a blade lever rotates about the first shaft to drive a first blade and a second blade. A drive lever rotates about the first shaft to drive the blade lever. A second cam gear rotates about a second shaft formed on the shutter base plate in parallel to the first shaft to charge a mirror drive spring. A first cam gear rotates about a third shaft formed on the shutter base plate in parallel to the first shaft to switch between a state in which the blade lever is held so that the first blade and the second blade close the aperture and a state in which holding of the blade lever is released.

  • Patent number: 8491204
Abstract: A shutter base plate is formed with a first shaft parallel to an optical axis of a photographic light flux, and a drive lever rotates around the first shaft to drive a first blade and a second blade. A mirror lever rotates around a second shaft parallel to the first shaft to drive a main mirror. A second cam gear rotates around a third shaft parallel to the first shaft to charge a mirror lever drive spring and a blade drive spring.

  • Patent number: 8459882
Abstract: A camera shutter is provided that includes a first drive member operating an opening blade; a first hook holding the first drive member in a charged position; a closing member operating a closing blade; a second drive member displacing the closing blade to position closing the shutter opening by operating the closing member; a second hook holding the second drive member in a charged position, and a magnet controlling operative timings between the first and second hooks. In operation, the magnet displaces the second hook from a rest position to a charged position and releases the first drive member from the first hook, thereby moving the opening blade. After a predetermined time, the magnet releases the hooking between the second hook and the second driving member such that the closing member is operated by the second driving member, thereby moving the closing blade to the position closing the shutter opening.

  • Patent number: 8393805
Abstract: An image capturing apparatus includes a shutter spring which urges a shutter drive member for driving shutter blades, a shutter charge unit which is used to charge the shutter spring, and is switched between a fixed state in which a charge operation of the shutter spring is complete, and the shutter drive member is fixed and a released state, and a drive unit which drives the shutter charge unit. When a second determination unit determines that a switching ready state of a mirror from a mirror-down state to a mirror-up state is set when a first determination unit determines that a charge operation of the shutter spring is complete, the drive unit is controlled to drive the shutter charge unit to the released state without latch the shutter charge unit in the fixed state after the charge operation of the shutter spring is complete.

  • Patent number: 7391965
Abstract: A lens apparatus is disclosed, which is capable of keeping the engagement of a protruding portion of a first member and a cam groove portion of a second member even if an external force acts on the apparatus. The lens apparatus comprises: a first member including first and second protruding portions; and a second member including a first groove portion with which the first protruding portion engages, and a second groove portion into which the second protruding portion is inserted. The second protruding portion and the second groove portion are away from each other in a case where the first and second members are located in a specified positional relationship, and come into contact with each other in a case where the first and second members are located in another positional relationship.

  • Patent number: 6382848
Abstract: A shutter for a camera having a small size is driven by coil patterns formed in a spiral shape on at least one of a fixed printed board and a movable printed board. On faces of a shutter base plate and a sector ring opposed to each other, a cam mechanism for making the sector ring progress and regress in an optical axis direction is provided. The cam mechanism comprises end face cams arranged in a concentric shape and cam followers corresponding thereto to facilitate pivoting of the sector ring in closing the shutter by moving the cam followers along downwardly inclined faces of the cams.
