Abstract: An electronic apparatus includes a base member, a switch, an operation member, a movable member, and a pressing member, wherein the pressing member has a pressing portion configured to press the switch and a sliding portion which slides on the movable member being formed on the pressing member, wherein in a case where the operation member is linearly operated in a first or second direction, the pressing member moves in a third direction orthogonal to the first and second directions by sliding of the sliding portion of the pressing member on the movable member, and the pressing portion presses the switch.

Abstract: A device having a support in the form of a base plate for being fixed to a camera such as with the receptacle for a tripod in the base of the camera, a slotted tube extending from the support for holding a spring loaded plunger rod and an actuator pin extending through the plunger rod and through opposing slots in the slotted tube. The plunger is moved by a retractable line from a remote position to cause movement of the actuator pin to actuate the shutter release of the camera.

Abstract: A camera mounting system for enabling a person to take pictures or videos hands-free in a wet environment with a water-proof camera is disclosed. The camera is of the type having preferably an electric one or two-position switch actuator. A water-proof actuation cable is connected at one end to a shutter actuation connector that is interconnected to the camera actuator. The other end of the actuation cable terminates in a mouth-actuated shutter control, such as a bite or tongue switch. A head mounting means, such as a helmet, is included for mounting the camera thereon, and has an inside surface, an outside surface, and an aperture therethrough. A longitudinal axis of the aperture is generally either vertical or horizontal when the helmet is worn by an upright person looking forward. As such, the orientation of the person's head can be used to judge the orientation of the camera mounted on such a helmet, the camera being mounted to take normally landscape or portrait oriented photos or videos.

Abstract: An operation assist tool for a photographic device having an operation member, according to the present invention, includes an operation command member and a fastening tool. The operation command member commands the operation member to carry out an operation of the photographic device. Abstract: A mounting bracket includes an enclosure which is formed of a single piece of durable plastic formed with three living hinges allowing the generally flat piece of plastic to be folded into an enclosure. Fingers which extend from the lower edge of the front panel engage in openings in the lower panel to retain the bracket in an assembled position forming the desired enclosure. A trigger actuating arm is pivotally mounted to a bushing within the enclosure and permits a photograph to be taken when a critter engages a trip wire.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a camera which comprises a camera unit including a housing with a front face and a bottom. A lens assembly is located within the housing and extends to the front face of the housing. A shutter is located within the housing. The camera further comprises a mirror member covering substantially the entire front face of the housing and being discontinued where the lens extends to the front face. The mirror member is marked with at least two lines that would intersect at the center of the lens. A remote shutter release mechanism is provided connected with the camera unit. At least one supporting arm is mounted to the housing and extending therefrom to a remote end for the user to hold. The supporting arm preferably has a length greater than two feet. Therefore, the user(s) can hold the camera away from himself (themselves), locate himself (themselves) in the mirror and use the remote shutter release mechanism to take portrait type pictures.

Abstract: A release button mechanism of a camera includes a release button which is movably provided on a camera body and which has a release cable mount, and a release pin which is supported in the release button to move in the same direction as the release button and which is adapted to transmit the movement of the release button and the movement of a release cable attached to the release cable mount. A release button association member is engaged by the release button and rotates together with the release button when the latter rotates in a plane substantially perpendicular to the direction of the movement of the release button. The camera body includes a stop to prevent the release button association member from rotating. The release button association member is provided with a restriction portion which engages with the release pin to prevent the slipping-off of the release pin from the release button.
