In those embodiments, a first processor copies a coding algorithm, a sound effect postprocessing program, and a Bluetooth audio transmission protocol to a second processor, transmits first to-be-decoded data to the second processor, and enters a sleep state. The second processor receives the first to-be-decoded data, performs decoding, sound effect post-processing, and coding on the first to-be-decoded data to obtain first coded data, and sends the first coded data to a Bluetooth module using a third processor. The Bluetooth module converts the first coded data into a first wireless signal, and sends the first wireless signal to an external playback device to implement audio playback. The first processor is communicatively connected to the second processor, the second processor is communicatively connected to the third processor, and the third processor is communicatively connected to the Bluetooth module.

    Abstract: Light-based communication (LCom) techniques are disclosed for decoding LCom signals using a sub-raster line sampling process. In accordance with an embodiment, a system is provided that is configured to sub-sample each raster line to capture data at a much faster sampling rate, which in turn allows for longer LCom messages and faster response time. The sub-sampling of the raster lines can be carried out in a rolling shutter mode. Without such sub-sampling of the raster lines, decoding the LCom signals may be effectively limited by the raster line frequency, given that the raster line sampling rate is tied to the horizontal resolution of the camera. However, by sub-sampling the raster lines as provided herein, the sampling rate can be a combination of horizontal and vertical pixels which represents a substantial improvement over standard raster line based rolling shutter modes.

A modulated light beam emitted by the sensor's emitter comprises multiple pulse periods, with a pulse being transmitted within each period. The pulses are positioned within their respective periods at a defined offset time relative to the start of the periods, where the offset time can vary between periods according to a defined pattern. The receiver can selectively sample the signal based on synchronization information to determine whether the received signal contains the emitted pulse pattern. Through-beam sensor embodiments can generate the synchronization information internally based on an analysis of the analog signal corresponding to the modulated signal.
