Having A Flush Water Dosing Chamber Patents (Class 4/227.6)
  • Patent number: 11802260
Abstract: The disclosure provides compositions and methods for making a colorized solution of an aqueous disinfectant that is both stable in bulk solution and will fade to clear within a predetermined period of time after being applied to a surface, for example as a spray or film. The compositions and methods described here allow an end user to visualize both the extent of coverage and the duration of contact of the disinfectant with the surface, thereby providing more efficient disinfection of the surface.

  • Patent number: 11225423
Abstract: Systems and methods for passively dosing fluid with a consumable additive in a controlled and measured fashion. A capsule containing the additive is placed in a fluid reservoir and passively doses static water in the reservoir over time. Instead of directly exposing the additive to the dispensing system's fluid, fluid within the capsule's internal volume becomes saturated with dissolved additive and then diffuses to the dispensing system's fluid through one or more openings. The one or more openings are sized so the that the diffusion occurs at a predetermined rate, and are positioned on the capsule to prevent an undesirable fluid exchange which extends the life of the additive and maintains a constant diffusion rate. The size of the cartridge can be selected to control the volume of fluid that is passively dosed within the reservoir, thereby controlling an overall concentration of additive in the total volume dispensed.

  • Patent number: 10570600
Abstract: A device for dispensing toilet bowl cleaner from a toilet tank to the toilet bowl comprises a housing, an outlet from the housing, a rim around the outlet, a cleaner chamber for receiving toilet bowl cleaner material, and a water inlet chamber for receiving substantially all the water used during flushing. There is a cleaner chamber receiving a portion of the water flowing into the water inlet chamber with passages for water to flow into the cleaner chamber where water dissolves cleaner material. The rim is configured to limit the exposure of the cleaner material to water between flushes.

  • Patent number: 8967183
Abstract: A drain line access device is provided for flushing HVACR drain lines. The device includes a main body having input and outlet connection ports on opposite ends for inline installation to a drain line, a flapper assembly sized and configured for seated placement in an interior cavity of the main body, and a removable top cover. The flapper assembly includes a flapper holder, a flapper, a flapper seat, and a spring hinge for rotatably urging the flapper into the normally raised position. An injection port is provided on the top cover for delivering a flow of pressurized gas or liquid for flushing out a clog in the drain line. In operation, delivery of pressurized gas or fluid into the drain line forces the flapper against the flapper seat, thereby sealing off one of the respective ends of the main body and directing the pressurized gas into the drain line.

  • Patent number: 8032953
Abstract: A liquid dispensing device for use in the flush cistern of a water closet comprises a reservoir (13) for the liquid formulation which is fed from an inverted container (5) maintaining a constant liquid level (47) in the reservoir (13) at the mouth (37) of the container. A displacement body in the form of a piston (9), which may be magnetic, moves in a bore (56) to dispense liquid through opening (25). The piston (9) is moved by a float (11) which moves up and down as the level of water L in the cistern rises and falls on flushing. The float is coupled to the piston (9) magnetically. In another embodiment a direct mechanical coupling is used. Liquid seeps past piston (9) when in the lowered position, and is raised to overflow outlet (25) when the cistern fills. In another embodiment, liquid is dispensed on a downward stroke of the piston. The fit of piston (9) in the bore allows liquid to seep slowly past the piston to replenish the bore.

  • Patent number: 6748610
Abstract: A toilet tank cleanser dispenser has a receiving holster suitable to receive an inverted container of cleaning composition and suitable to dose liquid from the container. The adapter has an internal dosing shuttle for metering an aliquot of cleanser through an opening at the bottom of the adapter defining a valve seat. A float can move up and down with respect to the liquid level in the tank to drive an outlet valve against an outlet of the adapter. The valve head can have a balloon-like structure driven by the float. For example, a low density thin wall polyethylene valve head can be supported by a trapped air pocket to reduce leakage, permit some flexibility, and avoid permanent deformation.

  • Patent number: 6654970
Abstract: A liquid dispenser employs passive driving force resulting from water level variations in the water tank of a toilet to dispense a quantitative amount of liquid into toilet bowl of each Flush is disclosed. A sanitary concentrate detergent of a selected formula is filled and sealed in a bottle and mounted to a float quantitative dispensing device in a dilute buffer chamber. Through up and down movement of a float quantitative barrel, a constant amount of concentrate liquid is squeezed and isolated into the dilute buffer chamber for dilution. The whole dispenser apparatus is hung inside. the toilet tank at a desired elevation by means of suction force of a sucking disc. A dispensing probe is provided which has an inlet/outlet submerged in the low portion of the toilet tank. When toilet is flushed, most diluted detergent in the dispenser is flushed into the toilet bowl for cleaning use, and only a small amount of the diluted detergent is retained in the toilet tank.
