Abstract: The invention relates to a holder for an active ingredient comprising a fixing portion for mechanical fixing under a toilet bowl rim, and a receiving portion joined to the fixing portion for receiving an active ingredient. One problem of such known holders is that they are troublesome to fix to the toilet bowl and to remove again therefrom. This disadvantage is overcome according to the invention by at least parts of the fixing portion being formed from a biodegradable, preferably water-soluble material.

Abstract: Disclosed is an applicator for an adhesive lavatory treatment composition. The applicator comprises a quantity of an adhesive lavatory composition, a piston part moveably engageable with a base part, wherein the piston part includes a piston plate and a grip element, the base part includes an upper cavity, and a lower cavity, wherein the piston plate is fitted within the upper cavity of the base part and is moveable within the upper cavity of the base part. The applicator may be a single use applicator adapted to dispense only a single dose of an adhesive lavatory treatment composition, or may be a multi-use applicator which may be refilled and reused to deliver plural doses of an adhesive lavatory treatment composition.

Abstract: The invention relates to a flushing water guiding arrangement (1) for a toilet bowl (5) or similar, comprising a housing which can be inserted into the edge (4) of the toilet bowl, an inlet (6), at least one outlet (7, 8, 10) and a dispensing device (11) which is used to dispense at least one liquid active substance as a supplement to the flushing water. The dispensing device (11) comprises at least one container (12) which is used to receive the active substance and at least one dispensing opening (13) which is arranged between the inlet (6) and the outlet (J, 8, 10). The flushing water guiding arrangement is characterized in that low pressure is set in the container (12) when the active substance is dispensed and that, essentially, only air reaches into the container (12) which is suctioned by the low pressure in the container (12).

Abstract: Raw sewage, toilet paper or foreign matter is prevented from being stuck to an inner bowl of a stool by air bubbles. A cleaning mechanism of the stool comprises an outer cover which has an upper opening and can store cleaning liquid therein, an inner bowl accommodated inside the outer cover and a ring-shaped upper cover which contacts the upper end of the outer cover. An upper end peripheral edge of the inner bowl is spaced from the outer cover and upper cover and air is spouted from air discharge bodies provided at the bottom of the outer cover so that the air discharge bodies generate air bubbles which agitate the cleaning liquid so as to generate bubbles which stick to the entire surface of the inner wall of the inner bowl.

Abstract: Apparatus for disinfection and chemical purification of toilet bowls, comprising a storage container spaced from the bowl and containing a purifying and disinfecting liquid, and a valve capsule mounted in the cavity of the bowl edge near the water inlet opening of the bowl. The valve capsule is provided with a check valve and a flap actuated by the flush flow so as to open the check valve under the pressure of the flush flow. Fluid conveying means is provided for feeding the disinfecting and purifying liquid to the valve capsule from the storage container.
