    Abstract: Shower drain assemblies and their components are disclosed. In examples, a shower drain assembly may include a receptor, a threaded flange, an optional hair strainer, a plate, and a protective cover. The receptor may include an upper portion and a lower portion. A portion of a threaded flange is receivable into the upper portion. An internal diameter of the lower portion may be less than any internal diameter of the threaded portion. A membrane may be coupled to an interior cavity of the threaded flange for pressure testing the drain assembly. The threaded flange may also include a tab to facilitate coupling of the threaded flange to the receptor and/or securing of a hair strainer inside the interior cavity of the threaded flange. A top surface of the threaded flange may include an inset to facilitate removal of a plate. The protective cover may protect the plate from damage.

The present invention provides a new drain pipe with overflow ports for a conventional sink and means for covering and sealing the overflow ports in the new drain pipe so that the new drain pipe can also be used with a vessel sink that does not have an overflow port. Means for covering and sealing the overflow ports include an inner sleeve that fits inside the drain pipe, an outer sleeve that surrounds the drain pipe and grommets and hole plugs that that fit inside the overflow ports, where all of the means cover and seal the overflow ports so that the new drain pipe does not leak when used with a vessel sink that does not have an overflow port.

The drain body and gasket create a water-tight seal with and between the concrete-encased drainage pipe when attached. The method enables a user to convert a pre-existing bathtub drainage pipe to a shower drainage pipe without the added necessity of digging into the concrete surrounding the pre-existing drainage pipe below the pre-existing bathtub drain in order to place a small piece of modern piping material and a secure fastener below the body of the shower drain.

    Abstract: A debris catch assembly used between a plumbing fixture and drain piping. It has two strainers and structure for supporting the larger strainer in a superior position. Both strainers are configured with holes through their side and bottom surfaces, to catch all types of solid debris in waste fluid, including hair. During use, both strainers are rapidly removed and inserted without tools into their usable positions from a location above the plumbing fixture's drain opening. The larger strainer initially catches all of the debris. When it is filled up, it is withdrawn from the drain via finger engagement with a protruding stub, after which collected debris is emptied into a dry waste receptacle. During such cleaning, debris collects in the second strainer. When void of fluid, the second strainer can be removed from the drain for cleaning via a handle having a bent configuration that clears the strainer above it.

The lower end may be removably extended into and threadably coupled to the opening. A peripheral lip is attached to and extends upwardly from the base. Feces may be positioned in the opening and ultimately the sewer line.

Movement of the plug from its open to its closed position requires the application of a lifting force to the plug to dislodge the indexing member from the indexing receiver.

A filter is located in the water collector and has a button in the center depressible up and down to control water collection or discharge.
