Abstract: A dispenser for dispensing a dissolvable product into a toilet bowl. The structure of the dispenser properly meters and times the flow of water therethrough to increase operational efficiency. The dispenser includes a substantially sealed container enclosing the product and having an entrance hole and an exit hole. Water flow interruptions are positioned to interrupt the flow of flush water and to channel the water to the entrance. A sufficient change of water is guaranteed by the deflectors while excess water is limited by the size of the entrance. A deflector is positioned to deflect water away from the product, and instead to cause the water to rise gently in the containers. The size of the exit hole ensures that water remains in the container after flushing has stopped, so that the dissolved product is efficiently infused into the water standing in the toilet bowl as the water level in the container recedes.
Abstract: The invention relates to a urinal screen with a figure-eight shaped deodorant cake holder. The figure eight format provides a holder made of minimum material, yet is not inadvertently opened if subjected to small external pressures. The holder is secured in position by means of a lip which is complementary to a securing lip of a base which is integral with the urinal screen.
Abstract: A dirt trap for flush basins such as urinals include a perforated base plate and a central projection which receives a basket. The basket includes upwardly extending arms joined together at a location spaced upwardly from the base plate by a connecting ring, the distal ends of the arms being bent inwardly and downwardly toward the central axis of the basket. A weight is provided in the base plate to maintain the position of the dirt trap during flushing.
Abstract: A disposable article for neutralizing offensive odors comprising a sheet of foldable material having a fold-line dividing the sheet into first and second portions. At least one of the portions has a grid region therein for adsorption of an odor-neutralizing liquid. The portions are folded into confronting relation after adsorption of the liquid in the grid region and the sheet is sealed around the grid in a manner to be subsequently peeled open to expose the adsorbed liquid to the ambient atmosphere at the time of use. The fold-line applies a slight bias to the first and second portions when opened to oppose complete unfolding of the portions into a flat state.
Abstract: A urine disposal bypass unit includes a bowl for receiving urine having a bottom outlet for disposing of the urine, a one-way valve disposed in the outlet to permit flow from the bowl downward through the outlet and to prevent flow of gases upward into the bowl, a flush valve mounted on the bowl for supplying flushing liquid to a spray assembly mounted on the bowl at a position to supply the flushing liquid around the bowl to flush the bowl, a flexible drain hose coupled with the outlet of the bowl to provide communication between the bowl and a main drain, a flexible supply hose coupled with the flush valve to supply flushing liquid thereto, an extensible arm assembly mounted on a stationary support and carrying the bowl in order to permit the bowl to be extended from a storage position adjacent the stationary support and a check valve in the bowl base for passing urine and flushing liquid therethrough and maintaining a predetermined volume of liquid thereabove to act as a trap.

Abstract: This invention is directed to a dispensing container for solid deodorant and/or disinfectant media, for use in urinals having a flush water system. The chemical dispensing container comprises a generally flat plate or screen having a perforate central portion and a perforate peripheral portion. An imperforate cover overlies the perforate central portion and contains therewithin the solid deodorant and/or disinfectant media. Cooperating fastening means are provided on said imperforate cover and said underlying plate to enable the cover to be releasably engaged to said plate.
