  • Patent number: 7334272
Abstract: A flushing controlling mechanism includes a toilet bowl having a trap, a room, a hollow cylinder, a first piston, an inlet, an outlet and a first opening. The room selectively communicates with the trap via a first waste pipe, and a second waste pipe alternately communicates with the room. The hollow cylinder is received in the toilet bowl, and the first piston is movable inside the hollow cylinder. The inlet is adapted to be connected to a water source to allow water to flow into the water tank so as to move the first piston upward inside the hollow cylinder. The outlet selectively communicates with the trap of the toilet bowl. The first opening communicates with the suction space and the room of the toilet bowl. In addition, there is a device to accelerate downward movement of the first piston. Thus, the waste in the trap of the toilet bowl is sucked into the room and disposed from the second waste pipe.

  • Patent number: 6457187
Abstract: A pressurized flushing system for discharging liquid into a toilet bowl. The mechanism comprises a sealed container for storing a pre-determined volume of the liquid under pressure having an inlet for connection to a liquid supply source under pressure and an inlet valve to permit liquid flow through the inlet until the pre-determined volume in the sealed container is reached. There is an outlet for discharging liquid under pressure and an outlet valve movable between an open position to permit liquid discharge through the outlet and a closed position to seal the outlet. The outlet valve is urged by internal pressure within the sealed container toward an open position of the outlet when the pre-determined volume of liquid is in the sealed container, however, an actuator normally locks the outlet valve in the closed position against the internal pressure of the container. Operation of the actuator by a user unlocks the outlet valve to permit movement of the outlet valve to the open position.

  • Patent number: 5802628
Abstract: A pressure flush system for use within a toilet tank includes a pressure flush tank which has an air inlet and a water inlet. Water is maintained with the pressure flush tank under air pressure. There is a water discharge for said tank to direct water to a toilet bowl. The tank contains a flushing valve system, which, when operated, will direct water under air pressure through said water discharge opening. The water discharge includes a housing which is attached to the bottom of the pressure flush tank and there is a one way check valve in the water discharge housing and located outside of the pressure flush tank. The one way check valve prevents water passing therethrough when the pressure flush tank is discharged and it permits the draining of water outside of the pressure flush tank and within the toilet tank through the water discharge opening.

  • Patent number: 5742950
Abstract: An apparatus for pressure assisted flush toilets that comprises an air tight enclosed flush tank, a feed valve, a volume control device and a flush valve. The flush tank is normally empty when it is not in use. A push on the feed valve starts a flush cycle by feeding the flush tank with pressurized supply water. The incoming feed water fills the flush tank and at the same time compresses the entrapped air therein. When the tank is filled to the desired volume, the volume control device triggers to close the feed valve and opens the flush valve. Then the pressure of the compressed air in the flush tank discharges the water to the toilet bowl. The discharging water stream from the flush tank cleans the toilet bowl. After the flush the flush tank remains empty until next use.

  • Patent number: 4143433
Abstract: A water closet of the tank type in which air is entrapped in the tank creating pressure to assist in expelling flushing water to a bowl during the flushing cycle. The flushing cycle is activated by a disc valve and piston connected to a domestic water supply for dislodging a float and valve from a valve seat. The water closet is constructed with a minimum of moving parts by employing a piston for dislodging the float which temporarily cuts off the flow of water to the bowl and utilizes the water pressure for returning the piston to the static position. The system also employs a vacuum breaker assembly having a ball in an angled pipe maintained by gravity against a seat in the flushing water line. The force of the water flowing into the bowl forces the ball from the seat during flushing. The ball returns to the seat by the force of gravity on the completion of flushing, preventing back pressure from any vacuum in the domestic water supply.
