Abstract: The disclosure relates to a portable waste collection and sanitation system designed to handle liquid and solid waste, and while conserving water and minimizing odors. The sanitation system is also designed with modular components adapted for in-home installation, where the system can be quickly disassembled and relocated as needed, such as for moving the components to a new location based on environmental conditions.
Abstract: The present disclosure includes an improved toilet and a system of using the improved toilet. The toilet can be configured to separate urine from solid waste, and further to separate solid waste according to size. The toilet can also comprise a personal cleansing system to clean a user's anus following use of the toilet. The present also discloses a method of maintaining the toilet and a method for removing the separated waste for re-use as a combustible fuel and fertilizer.
Abstract: A portable toilet device has a disposable waste receiving bag situated therein. The device is operable from an open or in-use position to a closed or non-use position which causes rotation of the waste receiving bag to temporarily close or seal the bag.
Abstract: A waterless toilet for use with containers that accommodate the waste and can be sealed tight. A seat has n depressions, each accommodating one container, whereby n is at least and preferably 4. The seat can be rotated at increments of 360/n.degree. around a vertical axis so that the depressions assume in sequence: (1) a first position at which are disposed a magazine that accommodates a supply of unused containers and a mechanism for distributing the individual containers, (2) second position at which the toilet can be used, (3) a third position at which are disposed a magazine that accommodates a supply of lids for sealing the used containers and a mechanism for distributing the individual lids, and (4) a fourth position at which is disposed a robotic arm for removing each container, once a lid has been placed over the used container, extracting the closed container and forwarding it to a depot.
Abstract: A water-closet installation is disclosed, which comprises two pans (2, 2'; 20, 20') inside a housing (10) which pans are fixed to a rotary shaft (W; 27), and which, by rotation of the shaft around 180.degree. are movable into each others position. Hereby the upper pan is lowered after utilization and primary rinsing to be fine-washed, disinfected and dried.
