Abstract: A child training potty configured to inhibit access to a waste receptacle thereof so as to prevent contact with human waste present therein. The child training potty includes a base being formed from a plurality of walls and a bottom creating an interior volume. A waste receptacle is disposed within the interior volume of the base and is releasably secured therein. A seat member is superposed the base and is movably mounted thereto wherein the seat member is configured to traverse in an upwards-downwards direction. A plurality of springs are intermediate the seat member and the base. An access door is hingedly secured proximate the opening of the waste receptacle. The seat member further has engagement rods extending downward therefrom that are operable to move the access door from a first position to a second position. The access door includes a first portion and a second portion.

Abstract: Disclosed is a seat-type air-extracting suction apparatus to aid bowel movement having a main body (10), a support frame (20), a vacuum motor (30) and a pressure regulation valve (40), wherein the main body (10) is provided with a loading housing (11), a seat cushion (13) and an extraction box (12), the loading housing (11) has a first through hole (111), the seat cushion (13) is provided on the loading housing (11) and is formed with a guidance hole (131), the guidance hole (131) is aligned with the first through hole (111) of the loading housing (11), the extraction box (12) penetrates through and is provided in the loading housing (11), and an internal space of the extraction box (12) corresponds to the first through hole (111). The support frame (20) is provided on the outside of the main body (10) and is provided with a starting switch (22).

Abstract: A seating assembly for a vehicle including a seat movable between a raised vertical position and a lowered horizontal position. A storage cavity is defined by an underside of the seat. The storage cavity includes a plurality of vehicle emergency items. Retaining features are disposed on the underside of the seat and secure the plurality of vehicle emergency items. An access opening is disposed on the underside of the seat. A door covers the access opening and is pivotally connected to the underside of the seat. The door is maintained in a latched condition until the seat is moved to the raised vertical position. The door moves to an unlatched condition when the seat is in the raised vertical position and access to the access opening is possible.

Abstract: I came up with the idea of the “Three-in-One Car Seat” because of the benefits and convenience for both parents and children. Now parents do not need to carry a car seat, a potty, and a booster seat when on the go. Some of the benefits of this car seat includes: keeping your child on track during potty training, safe from dangerous germs and bacteria (such as e-coli) found in public restrooms, as well as the convenience of having a potty ready for your child whenever he/she needs it, because everything needed can now be housed in one unit. It also comes in a handy for older kids too.

Abstract: A Comfort Seat and Commode Device that is adaptable for incorporation into a wheel chair, an ordinary arm chair or couch or bed, a hospital bed, or any other means of convalescence or permanent occupation by the disabled, is herein disclosed. The device's framework supports a seat portion that is capable of rotating to provide an opening through which a patient or disabled person may eliminate waste. The rotatable seat is located in-line vertically with a waste bin and cover that comprise the commode. An actuation means is provided, which, in response to a command by the user, simultaneously opens the waste bin cover, rotates the seat, and elevates the waste bin to permit use of the device. A means of providing squirting action of a cleaning solution to cleanse the user after elimination, as well as a drying system, may also be incorporated into the device.

Abstract: A collapsible portable toilet includes a chair frame including a built-in foldable seat with a hole, a seat back, four legs and two front wheels, a disposable absorbent fragrant flexible refuse bag extending through the hole in the seat and draped around an outer perimeter of the seat, the refuse bag attached to an underside of the seat, a roof support frame comprising parallel telescoping vertical rods extending from a rear of the seat and attached to the seat back, a roof comprising parallel rods connected to a top of the roof support frame at a pivot point, the roof rotatable at the pivot point to and from a stored position. A bag removably attached to a top of the roof having curtain material to be draped around the roof support frame and roof for privacy, the curtain material having reflectors on an outside and in inside pockets.

Abstract: A seating apparatus is designed for placing over a standard toilet system. The apparatus includes a chair having a padded backrest, padded arms and a padded seat. A patient accesses the toilet by raising the padded seat that is hinged across the back of the chair. Each of the padded arms includes a plastic side that forms a curved channel on each side of the toilet seat for catching loose items and any possible soil. The apparatus further includes a removable tray/table is mounted on the chair using slots that grip the arms, and a roll-away storage unit that is removably attached to the tray/table or chair.

Abstract: A portable toilet having a frame defining a collection space for waste product, an opening in the frame, and a seating surface for supporting a user in a seated position to allow waste product from a user in the seated position to be discharged through the opening into the collection space. A removable cover is provided on the frame for selectively blocking and exposing the frame opening.

Abstract: A toilet for bed-ridden patients is supported by a flat planar support surface which holds the weight of the patient. One end of the support surface is tapered and rests on the surface of the patient's bed; the other end is supported by a pair of height adjustable legs so that the entire support surface may be set up level, over a range of bed heights. Back and side support rails fit into the support surface, and may be positioned so that the support may be mounted either to the right or the left side of a bed.

Abstract: A convertible multi-functional seat apparatus includes a base having a generally horizontal seat with an opening formed therein and a pair of generally vertical armrests disposed along and extending above opposite sides of the seat, and a generally upright back attached to the base and disposed along a rear end of the seat. The seat apparatus also includes a seat potty cover supported on the seat for movement between a first position adjacent to seat in which the cover overlies and conceals the opening and a second position remote from the seat in which the cover is displaced from and exposes the opening. The potty assembly is disposed in the opening and supported by an internal rim of the seat forming the opening therein. The potty assembly includes a replaceable plastic bag and an annular retainer ring supporting the bag about a peripheral edge portion thereof in the opening by the internal rim of the seat.

Abstract: Apparatus and method for integrated passenger seat and toilet for vehicles. The apparatus includes a structural seat, an integrated toilet, a water supply, a waste system and a swivel mechanism. The method includes modifying the vehicle, supplying the apparatus, installing the apparatus and using the apparatus. The passenger seat rotates to lockable positions for use in multiple orientations. Segmented seat cushion is hingeably attached to structural seat members and molded to provide a seal with the toilet seat below. Water is pumped from a reservoir through a flexible hose to a ported water rinse ring in the toilet. Wastes are released through a flapper mechanism into a holding tank sanitarily sealed to the toilet. Privacy curtain is provided.

Abstract: A portable toilet enclosure comprises a base and sidewalls attached to sides of the base. The base has a wall in which a portable toilet is disposed. A moveable wall is supported on the sidewalls and is operable to a closed position in which the portable toilet is concealed from view and to an open position which provides use of the portable toilet in the usual manner. The sidewalls incorporate integral hand grips along the top. The bottom edges of the sidewalls provide support for the enclosure on an underlying surface. A pair of wheels are mounted at the lower front corners of the enclosure. With the toilet resting on its sidewalls, the wheels are slightly out of contact with the underlying surface. Forward tipping of the enclosure brings the wheels into contact with the underlying surface while at the same time elevating the lower edges of the sidewalls from the underlying surface so that the enclosure can be rolled.

Abstract: A cushion unit with an opening section is placed atop a bed frame. Rails are laid under the bed frame, and a truck reciprocated by a drive mechanism is placed on the rails for traveling. The truck carries movable units on which an elastic pad and a urinal are mounted. Each of the units is provided with guide rollers for vertical movement within guide members extending under the bed frame, facing the opening section. The guide rollers associated with the elastic pad or the urinal engage with the guide members according to the direction of travel of the truck, thus raising either the elastic pad or the urinal from the truck to fit the same into the opening section of the bed cushion unit.

Abstract: A receptacle adapted to be disposed for receiving, by gravity, waste discharges from a person is an elongated container having an elongated aperture defined at the top thereof for receiving waste into the container. The container has side and end surfaces specially formed with concave surfaces to direct laterally-moving fluid waste in the container, the motion being caused by movement of the receptacle, in a generally upward direction, and the container has a portion for thereafter directing the fluid downward, back on itself to dampen sloshing or wave motion to prevent spillage and splashing. In another aspect, the receptacle is disposed in waste-receiving relationship to a person on a chair for an incontinent disabled person, the chair having an apertured cushion disposed over the receptacle which is mounted to be removed from the chair.

Abstract: A portable commode includes a pair of stabilizing legs which engage the floor when the commode is in use and further includes a connecting device to secure the commode to a bed or other structure in order to provide stability as the user moves from the bed to the commode. A restraining bar spans the seat area to maintain the user in position.

Abstract: A toilet support for use with a toilet bowl, comprising a pair of first arm portions, mounted on the toilet bowl for pivotal movement. A pair of second arm portions are mounted on said first arm portions and moveable generally axially of the first arm portions. The ends of the second arm portions are joined to one another by a connecting portion such that said first and second arm portions can be moved about the pivot and axially relative to one another such that in a first position the connecting portion of the second arm portions engages the edge of the toilet bowl and in another position the first and second arm portions are extended axially relative to one another such that the connecting portion can engage the floor adjacent the bowl and forwardly thereof. The first and second arm portions can be locked in any set axial position relative to one another.

Abstract: A contoured chair for use by neurologically impaired patients providing means for supporting such patients in a sitting position while preventing them from falling or slumping out of the chair due to the patient's inadequate muscular tone and control and consequent inability to independently maintain a sitting position. The chair comprises a contoured back portion for substantially matable engagement with the upper portion of the patient, recessed contoured portions for substantially matable engagement with the patient's elbows and upper arms, a contoured middle portion for substantially matable engagement with the patient's buttocks and upper legs, a contoured bottom leg portion for substantially matable engagement with the patient's lower legs, a foot rest portion for supporting the patient's feet, all said portions being hingedly and successively connected to each other.

Abstract: A seat for a collapsible invalid wheelchair comprising: a flexible padded seat; an elongated, generally rectangular opening in the seat; reinforcing means located within the seat and at the underside of the seat respectively on either side of the said opening; flanges on the underside of the seat; a removable waste-receiving receptacle sliding in said flanges and extending over the full length of said opening; and a detachable flexible padded flap adapted to close said opening after the receptacle has been removed; the arrangement being such that the removal and closing of the flap, and the insertion and removal of the receptacle can all be accomplished by the chair occupant without leaving the chair.

Abstract: The invention is a device to assist people who are incapacitated by age, injury, illness, or other causes, to eliminate body waste. The device may be used while in bed or while seated. The device consists of two segments. A first segment (in conjunction with the second segment) is used when the user is confined to a bed. A second segment is combined with the first segment for use when the user is able to sit up, as in a chair. The first segment consists of a pair of side supports which are fastened to the second segment and may be set at various angles in relation to the horizontal. A transverse member is affixed to the side supports, the transverse member having suitable leg rests therein to support the user's legs at various angles in a plurality of positions to assist in the human waste elimination.
