The apparatus is equipped with a drain trough, and facilitates in the creation of empty space around a tub drain during ultimate installation of a bathtub. The apparatus removes the need to use cardboard and/or dirt/sand in the molding and construction of the bathtub and foundation. A leak detector unit is present to alert when the presence of a leak is detected after a set period of time has elapsed. A sensor is configured to relay the presence of water to the leak detector unit. A bottom of the apparatus is equipped with tiers or steps to funnel water towards the drain, even in the event of a leak.

Abstract: A child washing apparatus includes a housing having a top, a basin within the housing, and a plurality of water jets disposed around an inside surface of the basin. In addition, the apparatus includes a water heater within the housing which is configured to supply heated water to the water jets, and an air blower is in fluid communication with an interior of the basin. A countertop is secured to the top of the housing, and having first and second arm rests secured to the countertop on opposing sides of the basin. The apparatus also includes a control module coupled to the water heater and the air blower, and a rocker switch is coupled to the first arm rest and to the control module and is configured to switch between a first position and a second position by applying pressure to the first arm rest.

Abstract: The invention provides a drain and overflow assembly for a tub having a drain opening and a overflow opening, including a main drainage pipe, a drain fitting having a drain inlet end configured to be connected to the drain opening and a drain outlet end configured to be connected to the main drainage pipe, a trap, an overflow receiving hub disposed between the trap and the drain inlet end, and a multi-purpose fitting including an overflow path having an overflow inlet end configured to be connected to the multi-purpose opening and an overflow outlet end configured to be connected to the overflow receiving hub, the multi-purpose fitting further including a cleanout path having a cleanout inlet end configured to be connected to the multi-purpose opening and a cleanout pipe end configured to be connected to the main drainage pipe.

Abstract: A spa heats or cools air in the air space surrounding the water containment vessel to heat or cool the water in the water containment vessel. The air is heated and cooled and is circulated within the spa cabinet in contact with the underside of the tub and the plumbing for transferring or absorbing heat from the water through the tub and the plumbing. The air is heated by a solid state thermoelectric device or a conventional space heater and is cooled using a solid state thermoelectric device. Preferably a single thermoelectric device is mounted through a wall in the spa cabinet and is used for both heating and cooling the air in the air space.

Abstract: A body treatment apparatus has two separate but contiguous tubs to provide selective treatment to the feet and the upper body. A person will sit in one tub, and the person's feet will be in the other tub. The knees will be over a dam separating the two tubs. Each tub has separate fluid inputs and separate drains, so each may receive different fluids, and at different times. The entire tub unit can be rotated between a position in which the person is in a sitting position, and a position in which the person is reclining, with the feet higher than the head. Covers are provided for use when desired, such as during steam treatment.

Abstract: A small plastic animal container assembly or kit of parts for bathing small pets in a home bathtub or shower stall. The container assembly includes foldable legs to raise it to a height that allows a person to stand while administering the bath. The container walls are bowed outward in the middle providing more room for a small animal to easily turn around, yet provide confinement for an animal of predetermined size. The bottom of the container has a centralized drain and pet hair filter channel which runs lengthwise along the entire bottom of the container and includes a sufficient number of strategically placed drain holes to provide for continuous water removal and filtering of loose pet hair. Pockets are integrally molded into the four corners of the container to provide a means to hold pet bathing accessories such as shampoo, a brush, a sponge, etc. A clip is built into or attached to one end of the container to provide a means to hold a variety of sizes of handles used on shower water spray heads.

Abstract: An accessory for a bathtub adapted to fit over the side wall of the tub for convenient access to soaps, shampoos and other bath items. The bath accessory is telescopically adjustable to fit over bath walls of different widths and removable for storage. The accessory tray includes a pair of similar halves telescopically connected for adjustment. In a preferred embodiment, each half includes a well to hold bottles and the like while also creating depth extending down the bath wall for stability. Additional features may include a soap tray and pegs for additional bath items.

Abstract: A bathing device including tub surround panels useful with a conventional bath tub or with a tub configured to the special needs of the disabled. The panels have unobtrusively reinforced side panels recessed to accept a full length chair height reclining shower seat and a tilting bath tube to contain the bathing water for use when these bathing aids are necessary or desirable. When they are no longer needed, the seat and tube are easily removed and the surround panels are restored to their original appearance.

Abstract: The apparatus includes a basin with a 10-50 cm depth preferably 20 cm and at least a metal halide high pressure lamp (MeH), a mercury high pressure lamp (HgH) or a mercury low pressure lamp (HgN) with filters. The lamps have a spectral range of 290 to 400 nm and are arranged to illuminate prone support surfaces. The bath tub may be made of an acid resistant material, preferably a synthetic plastic. A fixed or removable plastic prone support surface in the tub bottom and a liquid inlet and outlet for circulation of the solution for processing and storage are provided. The outlet is connected to the inlet through a filter device, a processing tank, a thermally insulated storage tank, a thermostatically controlled flow heater and a pumping device. A radiation source may be located under the prone support surface.

Abstract: A sink is designed which can be converted into one, two or more separate basins. The sink has at least one rib protruding up along its inner surface. A removable dividing wall is provided with a plate portion and an elastic flange extending around the bottom and sides of the plate. Two detents extend from opposite sides of the sink at the ends of the rib. The detents engage the flange and deform it against the rib tightly enough to create a waterproof seal and separate basins. Drains are provided on either side of the dividing wall.
