Abstract: A shower device includes a housing having a longitudinally elongated slit substantially in center part of the housing, substantially all constituents of the device being accommodated within the housing, so that a guide rail is disposed along the slit and a slider carrying a shower nozzle is displaced by a drive means for reciprocation along the guide rail with the shower nozzle disposed at the slit. The device is thus made excellent in the appearance and also in the safety with all water hoses disposed inside the housing.

Abstract: An extension pipe for raising the elevation of a shower head comprising an S-shaped length of pipe having external threads on each end thereof, the lower end being a straight horizontal section of pipe and the upper end being directed downwardly from about 15.degree. to about 45.degree. below horizontal.
Abstract: A bathing device comprises an air inflatable bathtub and shampoo bowl of flexible material. When deflated, the bathing device lies flat for convenient storage and portability. When inflated, it expands to form a bathtub in which a person may sit, a sloped backrest against which the person may lean and a shampoo bowl behind the backrest for receiving water used to shampoo and person's hair. Drains are provided for draining water from the bathtub and shampoo bowl upon completion of bathing. A bathing device also comprises an air inflatable shampoo cap of flexible material, which when deflated folds flat. When inflated, the shampoo cap fits and seals with the head of a person to accommodate shampooing the person's hair while confining wash water to the cap. The shampoo cap may be used separately from or together with the shampoo bowl and bathtub, and if desired it may be an integral part of the same.
Abstract: A chair is provided having the capabilities of washing a person while seated therein. The chair has a chair body which includes an enclosed seat, a back and foot portion, as well as a arm portion. The foot portion is pivotally connected to the chair body and is configured to hold a quantity of water in a first position and to empty the water when in a second position. In a preferred embodiment, water orifices are positioned in both the upper back portion as well as the arm rest portion for bathing purposes.

Abstract: A movable shower assembly having an automatically retracting hose and a shower head capable of taking up multiple positionsThe invention relates to a assembly providing:(1) at rest, an automatically retracting hose which is compact and which therefore does not hang over associated sanitary ware;(2) in use, a greater length of hose than is possible with conventional designs; and(3) a shower head which can be put into any convenient position both when at rest and when in use, thus optimizing shower comfort, this being achieved by a suction cup fixing system (4).The shower assembly is constituted by a support (1), a hose (2), and a shower head (3), said hose is of round or shaped cross section and is wound helically to constitute a helical spring shape, and said shower head and said support together constitute a housing for enclosing said hose when retracted.
Abstract: A portable dog shower apparatus is disclosed. Independent side spray grid members are removably attached to opposite sides of a shallow fiberglass base. An additional top spray grid is removably connected on top of the side grids and plural spaced-apart spray tubes within each grid provide a large spray area for washing and rinsing a dog or other domestic animal. Each of the side and top spray grids are formed from PVC piping thereby making the entire apparatus lightweight and easily transportable. Each spray grid provides a complete spray coverage of a large area and because separate spray grids are provided both above and on each side of the animal, the showering process is simplified and shortened.
Abstract: A submersible bilge pump is used within a tub to provide a Jacuzzi-type jet spray. A mounting assembly enables the bilge pump to be located below the water in the tub, yet the mounting assembly allows for effective mounting to the tub to provide the water jet type action. The mounting assembly also allows for the submersible bilge pump to be rotatably fastened to the tub to provide a whirlpool type action when desired.
Abstract: A water distribution system for a shower enclosure (1) including longitudinal water channels (20-24), each having an internal passage (36), and covering clips (60,70) secured to each of a pair of water channels at a corner therebetween.
Abstract: The Sitdown Shower for Children enhances the capability of the standard bathtub by allowing a child to be showered in a sitting or lying posture in the middle of the tub. The shower is attached to the bathtub's tap by means of a sleeve adapter which fits in a glove-like manner over the downward projection of the tap. Rigid and self-supporting tubing extends from the adapter and projects the shower water to a moveable shower head connected to the far end of the rigid tubing. The lateral inclination of the shower head is slightly above the tap. In addition, horizontal and vertical suction cups are selectively located to brace the rigid tubing and provide added support for the tubing. The bathtub's hot and cold shutoff valves control the shower water and allow the temperature of the water to be adjusted.
