The drain assembly may be affixed to a predetermined shower length. The shower dimensions may be of at least thirty inches in length and at most eighty-four inches in length. The drain assembly may require at most two slopes to be installed in a shower floor compartment.

Abstract: A universal and height adjustable drain adaptor and methods of manufacture can include: a bonding flange; and a collapsible base coupled to the bonding flange, the collapsible base including folds and a bottom portion, the collapsible base configured to collapse about the folds to provide an extended configuration and a collapsed configuration, the extended configuration includes the bonding flange being further from the bottom portion than the collapsed configuration, and the bonding flange and the collapsible base create a universal drain adaptor with the bottom portion configured to be clamped between a drain base and a clamping ring.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for arranging an element, such as a shower board or shower drain, in a floor, which method includes the steps of: providing an element which has an upper surface with at least two straight edges lying at an angle, preferably an angle of 90 degrees. The element has a strip of a flexible watertight layer standing upright from the upper surface along the corner of the two straight edges; folding the upright strip downward, wherein the folding edge is shaped adjacently of the two straight edges of the corner and wherein the strip of the flexible watertight layer hangs downward from this folding edge; and arranging the element in the floor. The upper surface of the floor lies flush with the upper surface of the element.

Abstract: A shower base installation system including a shower base and shower base installation tool. The shower base includes one or more recesses on the bottom surface. The installation tool includes a handle, a strap, and a hook. The tool is used to lift and maneuver a shower base into position by engaging the hook into one of the recesses in the shower base.

Abstract: A shower system for use in a shower environment includes a receptor. The receptor includes a fluid collection area and a rim. The fluid collection area includes a base forming a bottom surface of the fluid collection area and an opening extending through the base to allow water to drain from the fluid collection area via the opening. The rim extends outward from the fluid collection area along at least a portion of a perimeter of the fluid collection area. The rim includes a resizing feature configured to facilitate removing a portion of the rim to change a size of the receptor in one or more dimensions.

Abstract: A flat shower is a drainage fitting for the evacuation of surface and weeping water arising from showering on a tiled surface, where the tiling installation method is thinset, that is, where the tiles are adhered directly to membrane placed on top of a sloping medium such as mortar or foam installed directly to the subfloor. The height of such tile installations being minimal, a novel, minimal height flat drain assembly comprised of angle bar at the shower wall or flat bar in the midst of the flat tile floor, and said bar(s) then made contiguous with a floor drain membrane, is described.

Abstract: Apparatus and methods for constructing a shower pan. The shower pan is constructed from wedge panels having a foam core and facers on major surfaces of the wedge panels. The wedge panels are cut into portions that fit regions of the shower pan area. The wedge panel portions are placed in the regions such that the sloped upper surfaces of the wedge panel portions collectively form a continuous surface that at all locations slopes downward toward the drain of the shower. Pans for a wide variety of shower shapes and sizes can be constructed. The shower pan may be efficiently constructed on-site, often using common tools and techniques.

In the drain opening there is a cover which extends over part of the drain opening such that, at least in a lower region of the drain opening, a gap is created through which water can flow out of the wash basin into the drain chamber. In the drain chamber there is at least one mounting point on which the cover is supported removably by the at least one mounting point. The cover in the at least one mounting point is mounted pivotably about at least one pivot axis such that the cover can be pivoted from a use position into an intermediate position in which the cover can easily be grasped by a user. From its intermediate position, the cover can be removed from the mounting point out of the drain opening.

The first interlocking mechanism includes at least one first angular protrusion disposed on the first extrusion channel, and a first angular recess disposed on the connection channel. Abstract: Disclosed is a dike for semiconductor/LCD manufacturing and processing equipment, in which a plurality of straight blocks and a plurality of corner blocks, having a predetermined height, are engaged to form a polygonal-shaped fence having a predetermined area, and molten epoxy is injected to a predetermined height in the space within the fence and solidified.

Abstract: A trench drain apparatus includes a trench body and an insert that can be assembled to the trench body to adjustably locate a trench drain hole in the insert relative to a footprint of the trench body. This allows adjustment of the trench drain hole at the installation site, yet takes advantage of pre-manufactured components. An upper surface of the trench body may receive an optional waterproof membrane clamped onto the sealing surface by a clamp ring. The insert can be rotated 180 degrees prior to installation to provide two different drain hole locations, or can be cut on site at one or both ends so that the drain hole ends up at desired location optimally matching a pre-existing drainage pipe opening. Methods related to the above are also provided, including adjusting the insert to locate the trench drain hole at an optimal location.

The support bracket assembly is shaped and dimensioned to fit in the L-shaped recess. Each projection is shaped to have a right angled edge between its top and side. The projections are flared at the bottom. The anti-slip surface exhibits high anti-slip properties while being comfortable and easy to clean.

During installation, an opening of the waste outlet can be located by visual inspection through the or each at least one part of the waste pan means, enabling a suitable position to be determined for forming and or positioning of at least one aperture in the waste pan means. The at least on aperture is formed such that, in use, waste that flows into the waste pan means can exit through the or each at least one aperture towards the opening in the waste outlet. Abstract: Described is a multi-piece shower pan. The multi-piece shower pan includes a shower pan piece and a seat piece. The seat piece is formed to overlap a portion of the show pan piece during installation. The shower pan piece includes a drain hole designed to fit a drain pipe such that when the drain pipe is fastened to the shower pan piece, the drain pipe extends ½ to 2 inches above the bottom of the shower pan piece. Thus, when cement or other adhesive is floated on the interior surface of the shower pan, tiles of varying thickness can be installed in such a manner that the top surface of the tiles are flush with the top portion of the drain pipe. The shower pan piece also has a water dam with a fin as added protection against water migration outside the shower pan.

The inward surface of the curb is recessed inward and upward. This recess, or groove, is for receiving a waterproof membrane overlaid and overlapping the tray for improvement of the waterproof barrier underlaying the shower pan constructed above the kit.

Abstract: A shower pan (10), preferably having rectangular planform includes a central drain (20) that is centered in a floor portion that inclines at a shallow angle (i.e., 3 degrees or so) to front and back sides and opposite ends. The floor portion and includes a shallow channel (46) along the front edge of the shower pan (10) into which all or substantially all water is drained to a second channel (48) into a central drain (20). An apertured grill or cover plate assembly (36) is mounted in the channels and serves as a cover for the various channels. The shower pan (10) is typically installed so that a sill surface (50) is at the same elevation as the pre-existing floor (52) to provide an entry that does not have any type of ‘trip’ points or obstructions that could pose a hazard to the user or impede assistive aids, such as walkers or wheeled chairs.

Abstract: Elongated drain assemblies, systems and their methods of installation suitable for use in tiled shower stalls are described. Abstract: There is disclosed a prefabricated shower receptor module having a floor with a drain opening and a plurality of peripheral edges. The floor is bound along at least one peripheral edge by a side flange such that an integral one-piece module is created. In one embodiment, a prefabricated seat is bonded to a peripheral edge of the floor. The module is constructed from a waterproof matrix material suitable for applying shower tile or stone directly thereon. Previously set tile or stone can be removed from the matrix material, and new tile or stone reapplied, without damaging the module.

Abstract: An injection molded shower stall assembly or bathtub assembly particularly for use in a recreational vehicle includes an injection molded tub or shower base, which includes an integrally formed drainpipe which is externally threaded and adapted to easily and permanently be connected to plumbing for the recreational vehicle. Injection molded walls are formed to surround either the shower stall or tub. The injection molded walls have lower edges that interfit with edges of the tub or shower stall in a way which prevents water from flowing behind the preformed walls and holds the lower edges of the preformed walls in position, eliminating the need for any type of penetrating fastener along the base of the walls. The walls are formed in multiple sections that fit one on top of the other, with interfitting lower and upper edges, again to reduce the need for penetrating fasteners and to hold the sections in position.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to methods of installation and use of drain and drain concealment structures. The preferred embodiment involves a method of installing and using a mortar drain base, threaded invertible membrane clamp, threaded flanged pipe, and drain cover when installed in a handmade mortared shower bed, or using a threaded pan drain base, threaded flanged pipe, and drain cover when installed on a prefabricated shower pan. The drain body may be connected to the shower bed or shower pan by any suitable means, such as but not by way of limitation by being integrally molded therewith during the manufacture of the pan, by connection post-manufacture, or in situ in the field. The cover, which is defined by a peripheral edge supported by horizontal cantilevered posts, is adapted to lie in registry with, and thereby cover, the drain aperture perforating the threaded flanged pipe. In this way, water is permitted to exit the shower or bath without the drain aperture being visible.

Abstract: A three dimensional structure comprised of a flexible sheet material referred to herein as a curb cover is described that can be easily secured with adhesive or resin over the intersection of a shower stall floor, a shower stall wall, and a step over curb. The curb cover is used in conjunction with a waterproof membrane to waterproof the shower pan and up portions of the surrounding wall and step over curb.

Abstract: A shower pan installation kit is disclosed comprising a hexahedrial polymeric curb and a tray having one or more graded or concave panels defining a recess for a drain. The inward surface of the curb is recessed inward and upward. This recess, or groove, is for receiving a waterproof membrane overlaid and overlapping the tray for improvement of the waterproof barrier underlaying the shower pan constructed above the kit.
