  • Patent number: 11649622
Abstract: A drain arrangement that comprises a housing which has a first channel section with an inlet opening, a second channel section with an outlet opening, and a valve seat situated between the inlet opening and the outlet opening. It also has a valve body which is movable from the valve seat, an actuating unit to move the valve body, and an outflow pipe into which the second channel section opens. A first central axis extends centrally through the first channel section, and an outflow pipe central axis extends centrally through the outflow pipe. The outflow pipe central axis intersects the first central axis or alternatively the outflow pipe central axis is at a distance from the first central axis. The actuating unit has an actuating lever acting on the valve body, and an actuator element for actuating the actuating lever, wherein the actuator element extends laterally alongside the outflow pipe.

  • Patent number: 10856702
Abstract: A structural, shower base assembly is provided. The assembly includes a tile-over shower base pan, a tile drain grate frame, a double threaded flange nipple, and a rubber gasket. The tile-over shower base pan includes a dorsal side pre-sloped to allow for consistent water draining to a dorsal opening of a centered drain hole of the tile-over shower base pan, and a ventral side having a ventral opening of the centered drain hole of the tile-over shower base pan and a reinforcement ring. The tile drain grate frame is compatible with the dorsal opening and the ventral opening. The double threaded flange nipple is compatible with the tile drain grate frame and an industry standard plumbing drain body. The rubber gasket is compressed to the reinforcement ring to seal a connection between the double threaded flange nipple and the industry standard plumbing drain body.

  • Patent number: 10619759
Abstract: A drain plug device is provided with a plug lid, a mounting member inserted in an overflow port, an operation handle provided corresponding to an opening of the mounting member at one end thereof so as to protrude from a surface of a sidewall, a transmission member configured to transmit a driving force generated by a pivoting operation of the operation handle to the plug lid side, and a handle moving mechanism capable of moving the operation handle. The handle moving mechanism is configured to make an amount of protrusion of the operation handle with respect to the surface of the sidewall when the drain port is open smaller than an amount of protrusion of the operation handle with respect to the surface of the sidewall when the drain port is closed. Whereby a good draining efficiency at the overflow port side is secured when draining is performed therethrough.

  • Patent number: 8214942
Abstract: A drain control assembly has a pop-up stopper controlled by a cammed actuating mechanism allowing the stopper to alternately seal and unseat from the drain opening by repetitively pressing down on the stopper. The seal seats against the structure housing the drain, such as a tub or sink basin and the like, so that a clean look and positive seal can be achieved. The assembly has integral catch basket that serves to both retain items fallen into the drain and removably mount the assembly to a support beneath the drain opening such that the assembly is firmed secured in place for controlling flow through the drain, but also can be dislodged so that the entire assembly can be removed and items in the catch basket can be retrieved. The assembly can then be reinstalled by simply inserting it down into the drain. A method of use is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 7984521
Abstract: The device has a housing (5) which can be fastened on the sanitary article (2) and in which is mounted a pushbutton (7) for actuating the drainage valve (A). A pulling element (16) connects the pushbutton (7) to a closure body (33) which is mounted in a displaceable manner in a housing (22) of the drainage valve (A). A changeover device (26) is mounted on the housing (22) of the drainage valve (A) and can be changed over under tension in each case for opening and closing the drainage valve (A). By virtue of the changeover device (26) being arranged on the housing (22) of the drainage valve (A), the actuating part which contains the pushbutton (7) can be designed in a more space-saving and compact manner.

  • Patent number: 6484330
Abstract: A combined faucet and drain system can be installed primarily from above the basin. The faucet includes a quick-connect fastening assembly with a threaded sleeve bolt that also doubles as a life rod guide. A spring-biased toggle fastener threads onto the sleeve bolt and collapses when inserted through an installation opening from above the basin. It then automatically unfolds and engages an undersurface when the sleeve bolt is turned. The drain assembly is mounted in a drain opening of the basin and includes a movable stopper guide that can be used during installation to align the drain flange to the drain body from above the sink. A method of installing a combined faucet and drain assembly to a plumbing fixture is also disclosed.
