Abstract: An advertisement medium containing an advertisement that is fashioned for attachment to a cigarette box. The advertisement medium is integrated with one or more consumable item(s) which provides the individual holding the cigarette box with incentive to keep the advertisement medium attached to the cigarette box. Furthermore, presenting a consumable item(s) in combination with a message/advertisement on a cigarette box also allows for promotion of the consumable item(s) in combination with the presentation of an intended message. The advertisement medium may be integrated with a base material which retains the consumable item(s), while in a different embodiment, the advertisement may be presented on the consumable item(s) itself.

Abstract: A substrate having a photoresist coated thereon is exposed to exposure light along a line through a lens 1. The exposure position is moved from the initial position O1 to a position O2 that is separated from the initial position by a distance corresponding to the sum of a groove width Gw and a land width Lw. The exposure is carried out along a line parallel to the initial exposure line. By repeating this, exposed areas having a width Lw and a separation Gw are formed on the photoresist. The photoresist is developed to remove the exposed areas of the photoresist. A resin or the like is pressed on it to form a replica. From the replica, a stamper is manufactured using an electroforming method. Finally, a grooved molding substrate is manufactured from a glass or resin using the stamper. Although the land width Lw is defined by the effective spot diameter ? of the optical system, the groove width Gw can be less than this value.

Abstract: A unique packaging method is disclosed. The method advertises products related to a product shipped in a box and comprises obtaining a box, placing a product in the box, and identifying a particular product category associated with the product being shipped in the box. This may be followed by obtaining an elongated flexible planar member having a width and a length substantially greater than the width, the planar member having an upper surface and a lower surface. The flexible planar member is provided with a layer of adhesive material deposited on and covering a substantial portion of the lower surface to form a packaging tape. The tape is imprinted with indicia comprising visually perceivable information to provide a purchaser with information relating to various products within the particular product category by disposing the information on the upper surface of the tape. The box is sealed with the tape.

Abstract: A sleeve label is fabricated from a sheet of polyethylene which is folded upon itself along two longitudinal fold lines with the overlying layers then being joined together along a seal line. The seal line is located so that the outer layer of the folded sheet forms an outer flap, which may be adhered to the body of the sleeve by a releasable adhesive strip. The outer flap can be printed to comprise a redeemable coupon, or it may be printed with detailed product information, or it may be configured to serve as a handle for the product. The label may also include a tubular header of small diameter, which can also serve as a coupon, or be printed with detailed product information, or configured to serve as a handle.

Abstract: A data tag(1) for a writing implement (8) fitted with a clip (7). The clip has a longitudinal recess in its underside facing the writing implement (8). The tag is a strip of material (1) with a tab (2). The tab is insertable into the clearance between the writing implement (8) and the clip (7). The tab (2) is fitted at its top side facing the clip (7) with a folded and raised lip (5) which, in the insertion mode of the tab (2), snaps into the recess (11) and rests against the clip (7) in a direction opposite that of insertion. A resting edge (3, 4) is present on each side of the tab (2) and can be made to abut both the affixing end (10) of the clip (7) and the clip bead resting against the writing implement (8) for the purpose of limiting depth of insertion of the tab (2).
