The top wall partially encloses the body so as to create a hollow body structure that includes an interior compartment defined by the end walls, side walls, and top wall. The top wall includes an opening formed therethrough for receiving a hook member of the hanger. The opening is defined by a pair of opposing first edges and a pair of opposing second side edges that extend between the first edges. The clip also includes a pair of slots being formed along the first edges and extending toward the end walls. The second edges include a pair of interference sections (detents) where a distance between the second edges is at a minimum.

The hanger body includes a reinforcing rib section disposed adjacent a mounting structure that receives the hook member. The information indicator is adapted to mount around the hook member and detachably interlock with the reinforcing rib section. The information indicator includes one or more walls defining a top opening and a hollow cavity. Preferably, the end of the hook member passes through the top opening such that the indictor can slide down the hook member. The sidewalls of the indicator are preferably adapted, for example, with locking nibs, to detachably interlock to the reinforcing rib section of the hanger body.

The sides at the top of the sloping surface are flat but the bottom part are two matching sloping protrusions that form a tiny ditch with the hanger. When inserting the size tag into the size tag clip, the sloping surfaces will expand the opening of the size tag which, after passing through the sloping protrusions will snap tight the size tag with the size tag clip. Inversely, rotate the size tag rendering the size tag clip a little slanted to force the opening of the size tag to expand to become bigger than the thickness of the external protruding plate, making the size tag to slide past the sloping protrusions easily when taking off the size tag from the size tag clip.

The gate bard and the blocking barb extend generally radially inwardly from the inner peripheral surface of the wall and are positioned on either side of the slot opening within the wall. A method and apparatus for removing the indicator from the web is also provided by inserting a reciprocal wedge mounted on a first plate into the opening defined in the web to displace the indicator and thereby release the indicator from the web without damaging either the indicator or the hanger.
