Abstract: Disclosed is a wireless communication system that is used with a wireless communication device and a position location system, the wireless communication device being capable of communicating with the position location system. The wireless communication system includes a memory device for storing position locations of the wireless communication device and for storing transactions made relating to the wireless communication device, a processor for determining trends by recalling stored information from the memory device and processing the recalled information, and a transmitter for transmitting targeted broadcasts to the wireless communication device based on the current location of the communication device.

Abstract: A system and method for a moldable wallet. A moldable wallet has a clam shell shape with a top shell coupled to a bottom shell by a shell hinge. The wallet comprises a sealed side located at the shell hinge, and a clamped top side, right side, and bottom side. The top shell and the bottom shell have a moldable material, which can be a thermoplastic material or other bendable or moldable metal. The wallet can further include a money clip which can be integral with the wallet or a separate piece.

Abstract: A lighted moving ball display system configured to provide a visual display, such as in a Christmas tree. The system includes a plurality of light emitting balls. The light emitting balls each include a light emitting device, a ball power module, and a housing configured to secure the light emitting device and the ball power module, therein. The system includes a passive transport medium configured to receive the balls and permit the balls to traverse the medium under gravitational force. The system includes a lifting mechanism functionally coupled to the medium and configured to lift the plurality of light emitting balls to a top portion of the medium. The system includes a power module configured to provide power to the modules and components of the system. The system includes a motivating apparatus configured to actively urge the plurality of light emitting balls to traverse the medium.

Abstract: A label holder for a chassis having: a frame having a window therein and a flat, label holding member disposed within the window. The label holding member includes an integrally formed: frontal handle portion projecting outwardly from an outer edge of the chassis; label mounting surface portion disposed rearward of the handle; and flexible, serpentine spring portion disposed between the label mounting surface portion and a rearward end portion of the label holding member. The label holding member slides forward and rearward within the window. The spring portion has a plurality of elongated members traversing sides of the frame and interconnected at edges thereof by curved interconnecting sections, and wherein material forming the interconnecting sections is reduced progressively from a rearward portion of the spring towards a frontal portion of the spring.

Abstract: A panel has at least one viewing window cut made in a front sheet to view illustrations and/or texts or cover them. It has a support sheet glued behind the front sheet; a booklet is fixed on the support sheet, in correspondence to the window, and being smaller than the window so that it can be leafed through via that window, and a sliding shutter is placed between the support sheet and the front sheet, to close the window, in its covering position, and hide the booklet, with the sliding shutter being held in parallel guides situated between the front sheet and the support sheet very close to two opposite sides of the window. Application in particular to making books formed by assembly of several panels.

Abstract: A tabbing apparatus is provided that includes a pocket and a tab element disposed within the pocket in a retracted position. The tab element includes an indexing segment configured for protruding from the pocket in an extended position as a tab and for being received within the pocket in the retracted position, an anchor portion attached to the pocket, and an intermediate portion connecting the anchor portion and indexing segment and configured for folding to allow the indexing segment to move between the retracted position and the extended position. The indexing segment is configured for displaying writing thereon for indexing a file.

Abstract: A lighted moving ball display system configured to provide a visual display, including a plurality of lighted balls; wherein the lighted balls include a light emitting device; a ball power module and a housing. The system includes a medium having a plurality of clear plastic tubes, spirals, tracks, or spouts; wherein the lighted balls moves therethrough. The system also includes a lifting mechanism configured to lift the lighted balls to a top portion of the medium; and a loading mechanism in communication with the collection chamber and configured to load the lighted balls into the lifting mechanism. The system includes a power module configured to provide power to the modules and components of the system. The system further includes a circulation mechanism configured to circulate the lighted balls through the medium; wherein the circulation mechanism includes a pressurized air system configured to project air through the medium during operation.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a display comprising: a sleeve having a first guide; a movable member that moves in relation to the sleeve, the movable member having a second guide; and a slider slidably secured to the first guide and slidably secured to the second guide; whereby movement of the member causes the first guide and the second guide to cooperate in directing movement of the slider. In another embodiment, a display comprising: a sheet having a front side and a back side; a rotatable member positioned on the front side' of the sheet; a wheel positioned on the back side of the sheet; a shaft extending through the sheet, the shaft joining the rotatable member to the wheel; and a member slidable in relation to the sheet and to the wheel, the member having a surface for contacting the wheel and causing the wheel and the rotatable member to rotate when the member slides.

Abstract: In one embodiment, there is shown a system and method of allowing a user to gain access to information pertaining to certain equipment by pulling a label out of an opening in a surface of the equipment, viewing information on the label; and pushing the label back into the opening. In a further embodiment, the label is captive to the equipment independent from a bezel surrounding the equipment. In a still further embodiment of the invention, the label has on it pre-established information pertaining to the equipment, as well as user added information.

Abstract: Display devices for, e.g., advertising purposes, are provided wherein at least one member slides relative to at least one other member to a “reveal” position so as to display new and different information. In one embodiment, two sheath members move relative to a slide member while in another, two slide members move relative to a sheath member. In another embodiment, cutouts or windows are provided which reveal different information in different positions of the movable member or members of the device.

Abstract: An open--closed sign structure fabricated and assembled from a pair of like sign body sections arranged back to back to form a sign body and having an area spaced apart between them, the sign body carrying a sign face visible from either side, wherein a shutter consisting of a pair of like shutter sections keyed together at a corresponding edge of each shutter section is engaged for slidable movement between the sign body sections, each shutter section carrying indicia visible from one face of the shutter selectively on opposed edges of the sign body depending upon the position of the shutter relative to the sign body, and fasteners for holding the sign body sections together and the shutter slidably engaged therebetween. The fasteners may also have mounting members, such as suction cups, for securing the assembled sign to a surface.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a holding assembly for holding sheets of material, as for example blueprints, in a vertical or hanging position and for providing an easy way to transport the sheet material when it is to be used. The assembly has a clip means normally open along its longitudinal extent. This clip opening can be enlarged by urging the walls of the clip outwardly. A retaining tube is provided which is open along its longitudinal extent and is adapted to receive the clip and engage the walls of the clip to both and to squeeze the walls of the clip against the sheet material. A mounting tube is provided which is also open along its longitudinal extent and is adapted to receive the clip and retaining tube. The mounting tube is mounted to a support rack so that the sheet material can hang vertically.

Abstract: Apparatus for displaying information from the inside of a vehicle consisting of a pair of horizontal members attached to end brackets mounted on the inside of a window in the vehicle utilizing suction. The upper member is removable and reversible. The lower member is provided with a slide to identify a particular bit of information, with a tooth on the slide and notches on the lower member to keep the slide in place and to highlight a preselected bit of information.

Abstract: There is disclosed a film storage system consisting of a series of elongated tracks each with a C-shaped internal groove along its length. The tracks are mounted on an shelving unit. Plastic storage envelopes having textured surfaces and a sliding closure are suspended from the tracks by means of a rib and connecting piece along the top of the envelope which rib and connecting piece slide into the C-shaped groove. Each track has an identification label attached to the shelving unit and each envelope has a corresponding identification label on the connecting piece which is visible when the rib is within the groove. Each envelope also has a handle formed in the connecting piece.

Abstract: The present invention, a digital instant schedule computer or DISC, computes and displays symmetric schedules for assigning to stations the participants in an experiment or tournament. There is a master board and a plurality of slides, each of which can be inserted in said master board in several ways. Each insertion of a slide gives a juxtaposition of two scales: a scale on the slide which gives the indicia of the participants to be scheduled and a scale on the master board which gives indicia referring to the stations. Each admissible setting of a slide in the master board gives a subschedule which assigns each participant to the station opposite his indicium. The participant indicia and station indicia are displayed so that each participant can read off his station assignment.

Abstract: A mobile radiotelephone station set base is provided with a pushbutton dialing pad in a first face and has a rectangular card-receiving slot in an adjacent face and opening into a card-receiving pocket extending into the base parallel to the first face. A flexible rectangular card for inscribing frequently used numbers is provided and suitably dimensioned so that when the card is in the base slot and pocket it is deformed for frictionally engaging the pocket walls. This engagement holds the card at any manually selectable degree of penetration into the pocket and such penetration is selected by a user so that a desired number inscribed on the card is indexed at the slot adjacent to the pushbutton dialing pad.
