The array sections each contribute distinct but coordinated air flows that coalesce with each other into forming the variable flow air array within the chamber. The controller controls each of the array sections. The variable flow air array generated by the device agitates, fluidizes, suspends, or floats at least some of a plurality of beads in the chamber creating a dynamic display of beads within the chamber.

The greeting cards have a partially hollowed foam body or one or more cavities in the foam body concealed in the front and back by the planar sheet material which may be pre-cut in the shape of the foam body are decorated consistent with the design of the foam body. The cavities in the foam body may contain various electronic components that enable the greeting card to produce sound, record and playback a personalized message, trigger light activation, trigger the movement of moveable parts, display digital video, photographs or slideshows, or a combination thereof.

Abstract: The present document describes an entertainment device including one or more mini-crafts provided in a fluid medium within the sides of an electromagnetic frame. Each mini-craft includes a magnet and has a different cutoff frequency. Motion of the mini-crafts may be controlled by a user using a controller such as joystick, remote control etc. A processor computes, based on the multidirectional navigation signals received from the controller, electromagnetic signals for each coil in the electromagnetic frame. The electromagnetic signals are amplified and sent to the coils to generate superimposed rotating magnetic fields which cause the mini-crafts to rotate separately within the electromagnetic frame, each mini-craft following a distinct magnetic field with a frequency that is lower than its cutoff frequency.

Transmitted, polarized light passes through and is modified by the plate-like particles in the suspension and is observed as an image generated by the display. Stirring means are also provided so the aqueous suspension is constantly in motion.

A fan within the base directs a flow of air into a transparent viewing chamber which contains one or more flying particles which have the appearance of flying insects will dart and fly about in the chamber. The particles may be luminescent to glow in the dark. The device will appeal to the animal's stalking instincts and will return to an upright position when pawed or struck.
