With Eye Or Lip Movement Patents (Class 40/425)
  • Patent number: 7937863
Abstract: An air freshener device comprises one or more planar elements that can move relative to a base, where each planar element is connected to the base by a flexible connector, and where each planar element releases a fragrance. The planar elements and the flexible connectors are disposed in a plane. The planar elements may be made of an inexpensive paper material and may bear images or text. The air freshener device imparts fragrance to an area and has moving parts that entertain viewers and also attract the attention of viewers. When mounted in an automobile, for example, the device can entertain child or adult passengers. The device can also convey a statement, using images or text, to drivers of nearby automobiles, who will notice the device because of its motion.

  • Patent number: 4998366
Abstract: Motion transmission apparatus for driving a plurality of objects along relative paths alternately in the same direction and in an opposite direction includes a plurality of toothed drive members constrained to moved in unison and intermesh respectively with a corresponding number of driven gears. Each driven gear is eccentrically connected to an associated rocker arm by a connecting rod. The rocker arms carry the objects to be moved.

  • Patent number: 4237634
Abstract: An article of advertisement includes a transparent container, and a plate-like member located in the container and carrying an image of eyes. When the article is mounted on a movable object such as a vehicle, the plate-like member displaces relative to the container since one of the transverse dimensions of the plate-like member is smaller than a respective one of the dimensions of the inner chamber of the container. This provides for impression of moving eyes. The inner chamber of the container may be filled by a transparent liquid so that the plate-like member floats in the inner chamber. Thereby, friction between the walls of the container and the member is eliminated, and the eyes in the liquid have a greater impression of movability and sparkling.

  • Patent number: 4164827
Abstract: An action toy comprising a housing in the shape of a face. The housing has two spaced openings which form the eyes of the face. A pair of plates are disposed within the housing in juxtaposition with the openings. Each plate bears an eyeball design. A pair of elastomeric hand-shaped members are rotatably mounted on opposite sides of the housing. Each hand-shaped member is secured to a hinge having a cam surface. Each hinge is spring biased to an open position. A motive member is connected to the plates and is provided with a pair of cams for causing simultaneous reciprocating movement of the plates and the hand-shaped members to simulate a peek-a-boo game.

  • Patent number: 4094092
Abstract: A two dimensional animated character providing a wide range of movements and controls for the eyeballs, eyelids and mouth by means of vertical control rods and connecting linkage and hinge mechanisms. Movement of the eyeballs in a left to right and up and down direction is produced by means of a pivotally mounted background plate having the eyeball features fixed thereon. The eyeball background plate is connected to the lower ends of a pair of control rods which manipulate such plate so that the eyeballs move in a general arc path to the left and right, and up and down. The eyelids are animated by an upper and lower plate simulating eyelid features. The upper and lower plates are each connected to the lower ends of vertical control rods which in turn are pivotally connected to opposite ends of a pivotally mounted bar.
