Abstract: A robust, high-transmission pellicle for extreme ultraviolet lithography systems is disclosed. In one example, the present disclosure provides a pellicle that includes a membrane and a frame supporting the membrane. The membrane may be formed from at least one of a transparent carbon-based film and a transparent silicon based film. The at least one of the transparent carbon-based film and the transparent silicon based film may further be coated with a protective shell. The frame may include at least one aperture to allow for a flow of air through a portion of the pellicle.

Abstract: A rack for a cooking appliance includes a perimeter rim that has a first end, a second end, a first side rail, and a second side rail. A plurality of spaced rails are disposed between each of the first and second rails and the first and second ends of the perimeter rim. An elongated member is operably coupled to the perimeter rim and is proximate to the plurality of spaced rails. A crossbar is disposed proximate to the elongated member. The crossbar defines an opening directly behind the elongated member along a length of the elongated member and a length of the crossbar.

The system includes a base and at least one attachment having a decorative element and flanges flanking the decorative element and forming an opening on each side of the decorative element. The base has a plurality of projecting elements projecting from a surface of the base and having a protrusion at an end thereof or a plurality of pincers defining an inlet and a cavity. Each of the protrusions or pincers can be deformed to fit through the openings on each side of one of the decorative elements after which the protrusions or pincers will return to a non-deformed shape and secure the attachment with decorative element in the article. Also a method for customizing an article with the attachments.

Abstract: A reflective mask blank that comprises a multilayer reflective film 13, protective film 14, and phase-shift film 16 for shifting a phase of the EUV light, which are formed in said order on a substrate 12. The protective film 14 is made of a material containing ruthenium as a main component, and an anti-diffusion layer 15 which is an oxidized layer containing ruthenium as a main component is formed on a surface of the protective film 14, or as a part of the protective film 14 on a side adjacent to the phase-shift layer 16, so as to inhibit counter diffusion in relation to the phase-shift film 16, thereby inhibiting the thermal diffusion between the protective film 14 and the material of the phase-shift film pattern. Abstract: A closet organizing device includes a base, first and second stabilizers, and a tabular portion. The base has upper and lower ends and a hole formed therein extending through a central portion of the upper and lower ends for receiving a hook portion of a clothing hanger. The first and second stabilizers extend from the lower end and are substantially perpendicular to the lower end and are equidistant from and on opposite sides of the hole. The first and second stabilizers are configured to fit over opposite sides of a hanger body. An edge portion extends along an outer surface of the base between the upper and lower ends. A tabular portion extends outwardly from the edge portion, has parallel front and rear sides, and resides in a plane that is substantially aligned with a lengthwise direction of the hole.

Abstract: A hanger date indicator device additional to a clothes hanger by threadable engagement of a hanger hook through a central aperture to position and maintain the hanger date indicator device above an item of clothing depended upon the hanger. The hanger date indicator device includes a date indicator selectable upon a first surface thereof, said date indicator selectable to signal a date associative with an item of clothing depended upon the hanger, whereby a user is apprised of the last time the particular item of clothing was worn, the last time said item was washed, or of any other date desirable to associate with a particular item of clothing.

Abstract: A Hanger Accessory Device for keeping track of how many times an article of clothing has been worn since it was last laundered. The Hanger Accessory Device generally includes a housing having an upper end, a lower end, and a receiver opening extending therebetween. The upper portion of the outer surface of the housing includes first markings and the lower portion of the outer surface of the housing includes second markings. By rotating the housing (and thus the outwardly-facing markings) around a stem of a hanger, an individual may keep track of how many times an article of clothing has been worn or used between washings.

Abstract: Self-expiring labels and badges are made by a method of: (A) contacting a first component of a dye system with a second component of the dye system, the first component carried on a facial surface of a transfer ribbon and the second component carried on a facial surface of a media, the second component beneath and in contact with a timing layer, and (B) heating the contacted first component of the dye system and timing layer with a thermal print head such that (i) the first component of the dye system transfers to the timing layer, and (ii) the first component of the dye system begins to migrate through the timing layer to the second component of the dye system which, upon contact of the first and second components of the dye system, an image is formed.

Information may be printed on an interior portion of the closure and a base label. A portion of the base label may be visible through a transparent window in a top label having. Rotation of the top label may cause the transparent window to display label information of varying relevance to the closure information.

Abstract: To support a shopper to perform self-service shopping by using an electronic shelf label (ESL) while looking at actual items displayed in a store and to expand the functions of the electronic shelf label (ESL) to enable the linkage with other data processing systems expansively. A shopper uses a mobile processing device (typically, a cell phone owned by the shopper) in a store. The functions necessary to obtain contents from the electronic shelf label (ESL) are obtained by introducing an application program into the shopper's own cell phone, by which it is expected that the shopper is able to easily enjoy shopping. When photographing the electronic shelf label (ESL), the contents associated with items are encoded (the price display automatically changes to a barcode) and then decoded.

Abstract: A price-and-information tag includes front and rear surfaces both having product and price information. The tag includes a pre-fold line and a perforated line dividing the sheet into spaced-apart first and second sections. When bi-folded, the first section fits into an upwardly-open pocket of an extruded tag holder, with the second section in front of the tag holder and hiding the first section. Further, the second section can be torn off along the perforated line to reveal the information on the first section with minimal labor. A picture on the tag allows a non-reading installer to place the tag. Methods related to same are also shown, including double folding the elongated sheet and then using the first section to engage a tag holder with only the information on the second section being visible, the second section being later torn off to reveal the information on the first section.

The audio and visual display system is based on chip technology, resists static electricity generated by huge luggage conveyors and baggage scanning systems found at airports. It is lightweight, weather proof and readable in a choice of different languages. The baggage and containers are easily trackable via the LED light-emitting display panel and the sound system. Abstract: Taught herein is an identification device for golf club head covers comprising an outer shell having a front cover and a back cover; a window for displaying identifying indicia disposed on said front cover; a disk bearing a plurality of identification indicia; means for rotating the disk intermittently so that the identifying indicia are displayed through the window, one indicium at a time, the means being disposed within said outer shell; and means for connecting the identification device to a golf club head cover. A thin, flexible tongue-like retaining element extends across a lower portion of the sign clip and is adapted to be easily deflected by upward insertion of a paper sign but thereafter lightly grips the sign to hold it in place. A new process is also disclosed for the continuous extrusion of the new label holder product, enabling the continuous co-extrusion of the soft, flexible tongue-like retaining element together with the main section of the label holder.

Abstract: A flat, substantially transparent lens lying in a flat plane retains a designation card within a recess in a surface. The lens is made of flexible sheet plastic with means at either end for securing the lens in the recess. At one end, a tab is integral with the lens and has an attachment end which joins the lens. The tab extends away from the plane of the lens to a geniculation spaced from the lens plane. At the geniculation, the tab reverses direction and extends toward the lens plane to return generally to that plane, where it terminates in a finger grip.

Abstract: A method and device for determining mattress rotation sequence and time by tracking the position of cues on a graphically imprinted device. In a preferred embodiment a board is imprinted with cues representing the twelve calender months of the year. A pair of hanging slots represents the direction or rotation to turn the mattress (i.e., head to foot or over). Each month and mattress position has a corresponding cue. If desired a first label is affixed to the foot-end of the top side of the mattress and a second label of a different color or configuration is affixed to the foot-end of the bottom side of the mattress. The consumer selects the time and mattress-rotation cue wherein a cue may be any signal which is directional, tactile, visual or audible that prompts a user to take a certain action.

Abstract: A webstock device for providing a signaling function while being relatively camouflaged includes sheet-like webstock material, a cavity in the webstock material, a signaling device at least partly contained in the cavity, and means for retaining the signaling device at least partly in the cavity. The cavity in the webstock material is closed by respective layers of material and a cover layer can be printed with desired information, instructions, etc. The signaling device may be an accousto-magnetic signaling device, an RF device or other signaling device. The invention also includes methods and apparatus for making the webstock device and methods for using the device.

Abstract: A housing body with a card-retention capability includes a wall that has an outer surface and an inner surface. The outer surface is formed with an elongate card-receiving recess that has a recess bottom. The outer surface is further formed with a first cover-restricting flange that extends from a front end of the card-receiving recess and that cooperates with the recess bottom to form a cover-receiving slot, and a second cover-restricting flange that extends from a rear end of the card-receiving recess and that is formed with a tool hole communicated with the rear end of the card-receiving recess. The first and second cover-restricting flanges cooperatively form a card opening that is adapted to permit placing of a card on the recess bottom. The inner surface is formed with a cover-manipulating recess to communicate with the rear end of the card-receiving recess.

A plurality of character substrates of rectangular geometry, bearing a graphical character, and having a height dimension slightly less than the predetermined distance, are front loadable into the pair of upper and lower character holding tracks, and releasably retained therewithin so as to form a string of characters displaying a readable message.

Abstract: A message display element, and a message display jacket utilizable with the element (and a plurality of identical or similar elements) allows a message to be effectively displayed, yet the message changed in a simple and effective manner. A message display element comprises a piece of sheet material (such as polyvinyl chloride or polyolefin having a thickness of between about 8-20 mils) that may be more easily folded than conventional constructions even when made of stiffer material, and which lays flatter when folded. The message display element is particularly suited for displaying pricing information, and positioning and orientation indicia may be provided on individual panels of the element to facilitate proper location within the jacket.

Abstract: A changeable scrolling web sign for selectively displaying a variety of menu items and pricing information in a viewing window includes a scrolling web adapted to receive interchangeable information panels. The mounting means for mounting the information panels on the web permits the information panels to move relative to the web in a direction substantially parallel to the scrolling direction of the web for permitting the web and panels to be wound on and paid out from cylindrical take-up rolls. A cover is placed over the information panel when positioned in the viewing window of the menu board for maintaining the information panel in a flat, planar viewing position. The sliding movement permitted between the information panel and the web accommodates the varying radii created as the web and information panel are wound on and unwound from the web take-up rolls. The scrolling web sign is adapted to be backlighted to enhance the aesthetics of the display.

Abstract: Shelf mounting arrangements for electronic shelf displays or similar articles including electronic shelf display mounting devices for mounting electronic shelf displays onto showcase shelves and similar surfaces. In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the electronic shelf display mounting device generally includes a shelf mounting member and an electronic shelf display mounting member. The shelf mounting member includes upper and lower mounting legs, an engaging portion having slits formed at different angles and a fixing portion for fixing the mounting legs to the shelf. The electronic shelf display mounting member includes a connecting portion having engaging projections for engagement with the appropriate slits in the shelf mounting member and an electronic shelf display mounting portion for fixing the electronic shelf displays in position.

Abstract: A container, such as the type having a base portion, and an upper neck portion, a shoulder portion between the neck and base portion and a removable closure applied to the neck portion in a sealed relation therewith, is provided with an anti-counterfeit multi-layer label construction. The multi-layer construction includes a label which is adhesively applied to the back side of a container. A printed indicia is provided on the front side of the label so as to be readable by the customer upon removal of an overlying sleeve which is placed over the label. The sleeve is in the form of a protective film which is heat shrunk into a conforming, sealed relationship around the container and which covers at least a portion of the label. A release coat is provided over the underlying printing. A background coat is provided over the release coat so as to cover the underlying printing. Top indicia is provided on the background coat with a varnish thereon.

Abstract: An electronic shelf label protective cover whose size is independent of the size of an electronic display module for displaying price information, and whose size is sufficient to contain a display tag containing information other than price.

Abstract: A system for communicating between a store computer and locations in the aisles of a retail facility. A hard wired grid connects the store computer to a plurality of transceivers located in zones throughout the facility and the transceivers establish a wireless link to the locations. One embodiment is a product information display system in which the locations are fixed information display terminals, such as price displaying shelf tags. Another embodiment is an item tracking system, in which the locations are movable shopping carts or baskets.

Abstract: A price cassette with a back part which has panes to hold interchangeable item identification and/or price labels which are separated by vertical webs, whereby on the back part there are vertical guides, over which the at least partly transparent front part can be slid. The price cassette is thereby curved around an imaginary axis which is horizontal to the item identification and price signs, and the axis of which lies behind the price cassette. The item identification and price information displayed thereby appears more plastic and elegant. The only action required to change this item identification and price information is to open the price cassette partway up or down. The item identification and price signs thereby remain fixed in place.

Abstract: A clip-on label holder and cover is provided for insertion in a price ticket channel member of a shelf. The cover comprises an elongate clear plastic strip, having a clear plastic display panel and an integral clip. A label, such as a data strip, may be inserted between the panel and the channel member. The panel is biased towards the channel, to grip the card between the panel and the channel member. The clip is comprised of a generally hook-shaped member, when seen in cross-section, that comprises the lower edge of the cover. The clip defines an interior region, within which a lip of the channel member may be snap-fitted. The clip is provided with first and second shoulders to grip opposing sides of the channel member, to bias the panel towards the channel.

Abstract: A retail shelf molding includes a rear wall having a channel for holding information or inventory tickets and a front wall having an outwardly facing channel for displaying price tickets. The shelf molding is preferably integrally formed as an extrusion wherein the rear wall and the front wall are connected by a living hinge. The living hinge is located at the bottom edges of the front and rear walls so that they hingeably open from the top edge.

Abstract: A frame for one or two-sided display of several pictures simultaneously having a unique configuration and novel combination of component parts which includes a subframe within an outer frame to permit quick and permanent assembly and to provide a rigid frame structure for easy exchange and replacement of several pictures or posters is disclosed.

Abstract: An interchangeable display system including a mounting for a display element, the mounting including a support backing and upper, center and lower face panels mounted to the support backing and spaced forwardly of the support backing with two elongated slots extending lengthwise between the respective face display elements and which cooperates with the upper slot, and a lower mounting hook on the back of the display element cooperates with the lower slot so that the two hooks retain the display element and can slide along the respective slots to assemble and disassemble the display element in position in front of the mounting. The display element itself may have face panels separated by a slot so that a superimposed display element provided with a mounting hook on the back thereof can be mounted in front of the display element.

Abstract: A signage assembly useful for the tabletop display of an advertising message. The assembly includes a holder comprised of an upright into which the insert may be removably inserted and a base for supporting the upright upon the tabletop. An interactive device for engaging an observer, preferably in the form of a game board, disposed upon the base so that the observer will read the message printed on the insert while playing the game.

Abstract: A labelling system which can protect a very wide variety of items from theft. The system requires four elements in combination: 1) A readily understandable message on an item which describes the state the owner intends the item to be in and further asks observers to take appropriate action should the item not be in that state. 2) The message must be easily detectable by people nearby. 3) The message must be changeable, at least once, to reflect a change in the state of the item it is on but, it must only be changeable by the owner and anyone he or she chooses. 4) The message must be very difficult to tamper with or hide without leaving a trace.
