The one or more computer processors determine a location and an orientation of the rollable device relative to the computing device. The one or more computer processors attach the rollable device to the computing device utilizing the set of biometric locks engaged programmatically such that at least one side of the rollable device is locked and hinged to the computing device. The one or more computer processors responsive to the rollable device attached to a side of the computing device, extend a display area of the computing device to the rollable device.

Abstract: There is disclosed a kit for assembling a body-mounted sign holder on which one or more signs can be mounted to display multiple messages without engaging a person's hands when the messages on the sign are displayed. There is also disclosed a sign holding device, in particular, one which is lightweight when worn and used, for example, during protest marches.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the technical field of barrier gates, and discloses a barrier gate, which includes: a barrier gate body located on a road surface; a barrier gate rod arranged on the barrier gate body and rotatably connected with the barrier gate body for restricting the entry and exit of road vehicles; a holding-pole fixing device arranged on one side of the barrier gate body, and used to stably place the barrier gate body on the road surface; a connecting member, wherein one end of the connecting member is connected to the barrier gate body, and the other end is detachably connected to the holding-pole fixing device; the barrier gate body is used for controlling the up and down state of the barrier gate rod according to a control signal.

Abstract: A system and apparatus configured to facilitate artistic expression across a variety of wearable and stationary mediums is described. The system employs framing elements which are disposed within a portion of a variety of wearable items such as T-shirts, backpacks, dresses, jean jackets, and others, as well as stationary items such as wall frames and standalone frames. The framing elements are equipped with retaining members which are configured to comfortably retain at least one design element in the desired location. Design elements can easily be removed and swapped out, or may simply be displayed elsewhere. Design elements may be made of a variety of eco-friendly materials, and the articles themselves are preferably consciously made for the benefit of the environment. The system serves to replace countless T-shirts with the capacity to change the appearance of a shirt or other article easily at will.

Abstract: A collapsible user customizable sign having a frame on a first end of a pole where the frame is moveable between a collapsed position to a deployed position. The frame has a plurality of removably engageable flexible panels having indicia thereon connected to distal ends of aligned horizontal members of the frame. The flexible panels may be changed to change the indicia and or the color of the flexible panels to provide a user a customizable portable sign.

Abstract: A nursing bra assembly is adapted to be worn by a mother when nursing a child, and the nursing bra assembly includes a nursing bra portion having a bra body that includes a left cup portion and a right cup portion. The nursing bra portion includes a left strap extend from a first portion of the bra body to a second portion of the bra body and a right strap extending from a third portion of the bra body to a fourth portion of the bra body. The nursing bra assembly also includes a first attachment member having a securement portion adapted to couple the first attachment member to a portion of the nursing bra portion. The first attachment member also includes an extension portion coupled to the securement portion, the extension portion adapted to be grasped by the child when being nursed by the mother.

Abstract: An apparatus and method that provide an improved method of marking a patient requiring an endourologic procedure such as an ureteroscopy are disclosed. The apparatus is an adhesively-backed sheet with a radiopaque marking symbol designed to eliminate risk of a wrong site surgery by creating a visible, unambiguous marking symbol on an intraoperative medical image. The marker sheet is removably applied to the correct side of the patient's body on the groin or abdomen area before the patient is draped for surgery. The marker is visible to the naked eye before it is covered by drapes and visible on an X-ray or other intra operative imaging device whether covered by drapes or not. The visible marking symbol indicia on the X-ray will be unambiguous and will communicate whether the procedure should or should not be performed on that location.

Abstract: A patient identification unit is provided including a conformable sleeve configured to be worn by a patient such that it extends substantially along an extremity. The sleeve includes a band information display portion, and an occluding insert that is slidably placed to cover the band information display portion. Private information of the patient is provided in the band information display portion beneath the occluding insert. Public information of the patient is provided on an outer surface of the occluding insert forming a tab information display portion. In such a configuration the patent may be able to carry a considerably larger amount of medical information in a manner that both satisfies regulatory privacy laws while allowing access by medical providers in a situation where the patient is unconscious or unable to communicate.

Abstract: A wearable display apparatus comprises a support structure for supporting a display (6), in use, above a wearer's (2) head; and a weight-bearing torso support for supporting the support structure, the torso support being arranged to extend, in use, around the wearer's torso below the level of the wearer's arms. The support structure comprises a yoke (12) arranged to sit on the wearer's shoulders; and at least one support member extending from the display to the wearer's shoulders and from there to the torso support. Where it extends over the wearer's shoulders, the support member bears on the yoke to distribute the weight of the apparatus between the yoke and the torso support.

The backpack-type large-scale promotional mannequin according to the present design comprises: a main mannequin body fitted with a blower operated by means of a battery on one side such that air can be injected therein in tube fashion; a support for supporting the main mannequin body from the bottom so as to allow same to be upright; and a backpack means for strapping, onto the shoulders, the main mannequin body supported upright by means of the support.

Abstract: A casualty and triage information collection form and record sheet of flexible plastic film including a writing surface and backed by a layer of an adhesive by which the record sheet can be attached to a patient's clothing or skin. The flexible plastic film is strong enough and elastic enough to serve as a wound dressing. The adhesive is protected before use by a release liner sheet.

The base garment 20 may be made from any suitable clothing material. The complementary garment 40 must be made from a translucent or transparent clothing material in order to allow the base image 30 to be visible. Both the base garment 20 and the complementary garment 40 may be adapted to a variety of needs, such as lightweight fabric for warmer climates or a thicker fabric for colder climates. The base image 30 and the enhancement-image 50 are preferrably complementary images which combine when overlapped to form a more complete multi-layered-image 70.

Abstract: A medal mounting apparatus comprises a mounting plate and a backing plate. The mounting plate has at least one hole through the plate. The hole is adapted to allow a medal to be secured to the plate by a tie or stitch through the plate. The backing plate is adapted to be secured to a garment and to be releasably secured to the mounting plate such that when secured, the backing plate is spaced from the mounting plate to create a cavity between the mounting plate and the backing plate.

Abstract: A traffic control board assembly as a self-contained unit is provided for mounting in an emergency response vehicle in a manner that accommodates deployment of a traffic control board above the top surface of the emergency response vehicle in any desired angular orientation about a vertical axis for visibility from any direction in relation to the emergency response vehicle. When docked, the top cover on the traffic board provides a weatherproof cover. Manual input and programmed control of a liftable rotation assembly on which the traffic board is mounted facilitate convenient and simple operation. A motion signal indicative of the emergency response vehicle moving can prevent deployment of the traffic control board and/or initiate returning it to a docked or stowed position.

Abstract: The visual alert for placement on free-range animals includes active and/or passive lighting to alert motor vehicle drivers of such animals crossing the roadway when traveling through open rangeland. The visual alert is a sleeve having fins extending radially therefrom, the fins having reflective and/or active lighting elements thereon. Power for active lighting is provided by electrical batteries that are recharged during daylight. The permanently installed sleeve may be formed as a circumferentially closed distensible unit that passes over the hoof of the animal, or as an open sheet that is rolled about the leg of the animal and permanently secured by plastic ties or other suitable elements. The sleeve is lined with a non-abrasive material to preclude injury to the animal during long term wear.

The adornments include at least one fixed subassembly attached to material of the apparel and one or more interchangeable decorative adornment covers for attachment to each fixed subassembly. The interchangeable decorative adornment covers can be offered having different images or designs including flowers, animals, letters, numbers, coins, etc. Additionally the casual apparel may include a pocket having a transparent central member and a backing member forming an insert receptacle. A common pocket receptacle is formed between the backing member and the garment material. A decorative insert in placed into the insert receptacle and is visible through the transparent pocket fascia.

The first sidewall, second sidewall or top wall may be formed from a head box material to allow a user to see through the head box device of the present invention either partially or completely and to allow indicia to be printed on the exterior surface of the head box device.

Abstract: A garment display frame that provides apparel with at least one display frame releasably incorporated into said apparel where the apparel has a part of a mating pair of fasteners and the display frame has the other part. The display frame has a border mounted to the edge of the display frame with a plastic transparent or translucent receptacle bound thereby having a pocket so that the user can insert a visual display of their choosing therein. Also, the apparel display frame has a receptacle that can be incorporated into any garment so that a user can selectively insert any picture, image, message, graphic or artwork as desired.

Abstract: A removably attachable promotional pocket cover comprises a single body unit generally in the shape of an arrow including a cover module and an insert module seamlessly connected thereto; the insert module generally rectangular in shape and cover module generally triangular in shape. The arrow shaped pocket cover is formed of three panel layers of material including a top panel layer and a back panel layer of wearer selected materials, and a supportive middle layer sandwiched therebetween. The cover module includes a surface area to affix promotional adornments thereon. A promotional pocket cover, method of construction and use are disclosed.

Abstract: A sports fan foam hand display combines a foam hand with a three-dimensional message to the sports team or player. The sports fan foam hand display can include a base member having cuts to form a fence shape. The letter “D” can be superimposed on the fence-shaped base member to create the message “D-fence” or defense. A slot can be provided to permit the user to wear the foam hand display on their hand. A region can be provided for the sport team's name and the entire foam hand display can be colored in various colors, such as the sport team's colors.

Abstract: Methods for patients to communicate non-verbally with caregivers, including the steps of providing a communication device including a plurality of paddles and an organizing device, selecting a chosen message from the message set to communicate to a caregiver, selecting a selected paddle from the plurality of paddles corresponding to the chosen message, and communicating the message to a caregiver manipulating the selected paddle. Communication devices according to this disclosure include a support extending from a first end to a second end opposite the first end, a support opening proximate the first end of the support, and a banner member transversely mounted to the second end of the support, the banner member being configured to communicate a unique message, the plurality of unique messages on the plurality of paddles defining a message set. The organizing device is routed through the support opening of each paddle to moveably retain the plurality of paddles together.

Abstract: A hollow conical shaped forearm sleeve for sliding onto a user's forearm. The top end and bottom end of an elastic fabric are sewn together to form the forearm sleeve. A printed sports image representative of a sports team is printed onto the forearm sleeve. Also, an autograph receiving area is located on the forearm sleeve. In a preferred embodiment, the name of the promoter of a sports event is printed onto the forearm sleeve. In a preferred embodiment the elastic fiber is a spandex/cotton blend. Also, in a preferred embodiment the forearm sleeve is given away as a give-away item at a sports event.

Abstract: A coplanarly joined print carrier composed of at least two laminar partial print carriers. One of the partial print carriers contains a paper layer. The paper layer of one partial print carrier is attenuated in thickness along an edge strip by removing a partial layer. The other partial print carrier has a lesser thickness along one edge strip than elsewhere. The two partial print carriers are bonded together along their two edge strips. A method suitable for making such a print carrier is also provided.

Abstract: A flexible adjustable split band with indicia on the exterior surface. The interior is made of injection molded spring plastic and an exterior covering is made of material selected from the group consisting of lanyard material, polyester fabric, and other stretchable material which can be heat sealed and onto which indicia can be placed by methods such as silkscreening or weaving. The band is formed by starting with an injection molded core of spring plastic of a given width and length which is formed into a curve and is separated at its two respective ends so that gap is created between the ends of the plastic core. A covering material such as lanyard material or polyester is slipped over the plastic core and is heat sealed at one end. The covering then pulled tightly over the plastic core and cut to size and heat sealed at its opposite end. An end cap made of ABS plastic or comparable material is then affixed onto each end of the band.

Abstract: An identification apparatus and methods of use are presented. Embodiments include a loop of flexible material, having and exterior surface. Indicia, identifying an organization, is displayed on at least a portion of the exterior surface. A container is provided to store the loop of flexible material. Some embodiments couple the container with a belt or other article of clothing or clothing accessory. The loop of flexible material may be coupled with the container. The container may serve as an anchoring point for one or more methods of displaying the loop of flexible material. Some methods of use position the loop of flexible material over portions of a user's body. Some methods of use permit one hand operation of the apparatus.

Abstract: An apparatus includes a display body having a three-dimensionally contoured exterior shape and an interior, hand-receiving cavity extending within the display body. An optional display cover may be mounted on a selected portion of the display body or included in an unassembled kit. The display cover bears a communication attribute and is configured for repeated removal from and replacement on the display body. The apparatus may be configured for use by a person as a hand-mounted display.

Abstract: A hand-held inter-auto display device includes a handle portion and an interconnecting and substantially planar display portion. A plurality of individual sheets, each displaying at least a portion of a selected message, are displayed from at least one side of the planar display portion. A visual enhancement element, including any of LED elements, phosphorescent coatings or reflective lettering, is associated with at least one of the handle, display portion and sheets to better display a selected message of an exposed sheet supported upon the display portion.

Abstract: A portable traffic control sign that includes a lightweight sign head selectively attachable to a lightweight pole. The sign head includes a thin interior frame sandwiched between two opposite facing, traffic sign panels. The interior frame includes an octagonal outer support structure and an inner support structure. Attached to the opposite surfaces of the outer and inner support structures are two arrays of LED bulbs. The two sign panels each include a thin transparent window. When placed on opposite sides of the interior sign frame, light from the first and second array of LED bulbs is able to be transmitted through the two windows exteriorly. In the preferred embodiment, each panel is made of DOT approved retro-reflective material. The two arrays are connected to a main control unit mounted inside the lightweight pole which also contains the battery pack and optional flasher switches.

Abstract: A handheld illuminated warning sign including front and back translucent plastic members, each having a predetermined size and a predetermined shape, connected together to form the sign. At least one of the translucent plastic members having a predetermined color and warning indicia thereon. A mechanism is engageable with each of the translucent plastic members at a first portion thereof for securing them together. A generally hollow handle member, having a predetermined length, is engageable with a second portion of such translucent plastic members for holding the sign. A light is disposed at one end of such handle and between the translucent plastic members for lighting the sign. A battery is disposed within the handle and electrically connected to the light and a switch on such handle is connected between the light and battery for turning on and shutting off such light.

The twirling mechanism having a handle extending from a bottom portion thereof and having a mechanism to permit rotating of the handle with respect to the fabric-article, such that the fabric article is capable of twirling around the twirling mechanism. The twirling mechanism may in other embodiments include noise maker when the handle is rotated.

Abstract: The invention provides a media display system and method that allows a user to easily maneuver through crowded areas while providing advertisements that can be selected and altered even while the media display system is in use. According to the invention, the system operates on a regenerative breaking system that recharges the battery as the system is in brake-mode or as a result of the media display in the shape of an airfoil contributing to the regenerative breaking mechanism.

Abstract: A message-conveying athletic glove with enhanced gripping is provided. The glove comprises a palm-side portion and a back portion connected to form four finger sheaths, a thumb sheath, and an opening capable of receiving a human hand. A first image portion of a complete image is located on one or more of the palm-side portion or the back portion of the glove. When the glove is worn by the user and interlocks with a second glove having a second image portion of the complete image displayed, the complete image is displayed by the interlocked gloves, conveying a message. The palm-side portion of the glove is made of a material to enhance gripping.

The decorative article is suspended pendant like from a parrot clasp and is moved from a strap fastener on one nursing bra strap to the other as a nursing breast system indicator.

Abstract: A rollable display (101) is wearable on a sleeve (103). The display (101) is part of a wrist-based device with a “U” shape. A part of the device is on top of the sleeve (103). The display (101) can be rolled out for use as needed. The device itself may be flexible or bendable i.e. have a x-rigid, U-shape or may allow the “U” shape to be folded out, for example by a hinge or sequence of connected segments that can be rotated freely, but which keep their position after being moved. The display (101) may be rolled out from under the sleeve (103) and then over the sleeve (103) along a predefined curve by means of a guiding mechanism. The device is easy to use, allows the use of large displays that may always be visible and allows freedom in the display design with respect to the direction in which the flexible display (101) is rolled out.

Abstract: A communication device support intended to be worn by a person includes a bottom portion intended to be connected to the trunk of the person. The bottom portion has members that bear on the shoulders, the back, and the chest of the person, these members being rigidly connected to each other and conformed to ensure that the bottom portion is inherently stable on the trunk. A top portion holds the communication device above the head of the person, this top portion being rigidly connected to the bottom portion and conformed to enable the free movement of the head. The members that bear on the shoulders include two shoulder straps, a dorsal upright connected to the shoulder straps via a dorsal crossmember, and two pectoral uprights connected to the shoulder straps via a pectoral crossmember, all of these members having an ergonomic shape.
