Abstract: Furniture for displaying advertising includes a table having a planar surface, a steel plate secured to the planar surface and having a first polarity, and an advertising panel comprised of a flexible material and having a second polarity. The advertising panel is removably secured to the steel plate using magnetic forces. A protruding lip extends about a periphery of the planar surface and around the advertising panel so that a top surface of the advertising panel is flush with a top surface of the protruding lip. A vertical support has a first end secured to a lower portion of the planar surface and an opposing second end configured to be placed on a ground surface. The planar surface of the table is substantially perpendicular relative to a longitudinal axis of the vertical support causing the advertising panel to be horizontal to the ground surface.

A motion sensor detects the presence of a vehicle in the parking space in order to activate a light, screen or speaker. A user interface allows viewers to participate in interactive advertisements.

A first locking mechanism may control access to the rear portion of the electronic display while a second locking mechanism may control access to the front portion of the electronic display. A first advertising party may be given proper access to the first and second locking mechanisms.

Abstract: Apparatus and methods for wet floor warnings feature a movable barrier member proximate a doorway at a height elevated above floor level for selective movement between a deployed position in which the barrier member spans at least partially across the doorway and a storage position in which the barrier member is less obstructive to the doorway than in the deployed position for selective display of wet floor warning indicia on the barrier member on a path of sight through the doorway to indicate that the floor surface situated beyond said doorway is wet and may present a slip and fall hazard. The visibility of the warning is improved over floor seated signs, and cleaning personnel going room to room in a large establishment like a hotel, hospital, nursing home, care home, etc. need not transport portable warning signs as they travel the premises.

Abstract: A dual panel-frame interface system for the construction of portable displays comprises one or more frame members and one or more panel members. Each frame member is adapted to accommodate the releasable connection of two general types of panel members. One type of panel member is generally flexible with mounting gaskets flexibly connected to its peripheral edge for receiving engagement by a mounting groove in the frame member. The other type of panel member is a more rigid, face-mounted type that is placed in clinging engagement directly with a lateral wall of the frame member. The frame member is adapted such that when a rigid type panel member is placed in clinging engagement with the lateral wall, the respective unused mounting groove remains visually obscured from a viewpoint outward of the outer surface of the panel member, thus making the system more visually appealing.

A kit comprised of a pair of end caps with foldable legs and a pole support are releasably engaged to the canister and can be removed without tools. The kit can be releasably engaged to a second canister, without tools, with the second canister containing a second banner with a different (or new) ad and/or message to thus facilitate changing banners.

Abstract: An in-store advertising cover for installation onto and covering an upright security fixture includes a pair of front and rear, arcuate panels joined together along side, linear edges to form a lens-shaped cross section when the fixture is covered. A crease extends transversely across the arcuate panels between the side edges. The arcuate panels are foldable about the crease when the fixture is not covered, for example, during shipping, and are unfolded during installation. A lower half of the cover is initially installed on the fixture, followed by an upper half. Advertising material is applied on one or both arcuate panels. The advertising material is visible when viewed off to one side of the respective unfolded arcuate panels.

The plurality of faces comprising the hollow receiving tube are preferably of a convex shape. Included within the base region is a retention lip which extends into and partially occludes the essentially open proximal end of the hollow receiving tube. The base region may include additional fitments to allow for attachment of the display apparatus to surfaces not of a flat horizontal orientation. The base region may further include means for producing light or sound.

Sponsorship advertising is displayed on an opposite side of the panels or sheets, such that when a spectator or event attendee holds the apparatus of the present invention in the air to order a food or beverage item, the generic term will be displayed and visible to the vendor, while people seated in rows behind the event attendee or spectator may be able to view the advertisement.

The advertising sign comprises a substrate with a generally rectangularly shaped outer edge configuration having first and second generally parallel and planar surfaces, with a multicolor advertising copy printed across substantially the entirety of at least one of the planar surfaces with solvent inks thereby yielding protection to the substrate against exposure to atmospheric elements and thereby prolonging the life of the sign during use. The substrate also defines an opening spaced a predetermined distance from at least two edges of the printed substrate to facilitate alignment of the opening relative to the detection apparatus of the security system whereby allowing passage of a signal from the detection apparatus of the security system to pass through the substrate.

Abstract: A curved sign assembly includes a flexible sign panel removably mounted in an arcuate position in a modular frame. The frame comprises a pair of edge rails mounted on opposite side edges of an intermediate member. The edge rails can clip on a variety of intermediate members of different sizes. The edge rails include inwardly facing open-sided channels that receive and hold side edges of the flexible sign panels on one or both sides of the intermediate members. Upper and lower plates cover the top and bottom sides of the sign. Horizontal or vertical reinforcing members positioned on the intermediate member for larger signs support the sign panels between the edges. The edge rails can be decorative extruded aluminum members that are attached in different lengths to a variety of intermediate members. A channel member can be mounted between the edge rails to receive the ends of sign panels that extend only part of the way between the edge rails and the side of the intermediate member.

Abstract: A single pass process and apparatus for manufacturing a folded yard sign from a pre-cut sheet previously coated on both sides with a fusible polymer includes the steps of printing an image on an outside of the sheet, curing the image, scoring the printed sheet, folding the scored sheet, ultrasonically sealing regions along side edges of the folded sheet, and stacking the sealed sheets, which are finished sign products ready for packaging. The ultrasonic sealing fuses the polymer coated inside surfaces along the edges of the folded sheet. The sealed side edges form a sign support receiving pocket in the finished sign member in cooperation with a folded edge of the sign member.

The rearward face of the overhead sign structure on an opposing side from the forward face has a secondary orientation with respect to other traffic flow different from the oncoming vehicle traffic. A billboard advertisement is positioned on the rearward face of the overhead sign structure with visual exposure to the other traffic flow.

The panel has score lines adjacent each opposed end to define opposed flaps. The first and second channels each have a flange extending from one wall to adjacent opposed wall to define the elongated opening into the channel. A device supports the assembly from a support and a safety device loosely extends from a first channel to the second channel. Each flap is moved about the score line for insertion through the elongated opening such that when the flap is inserted beyond the free end of the flange, the flap is biased way from the panel to connect the panel to the channel.

Abstract: The present invention 10 discloses a process for forming a translucent first image onto a transparent media 34 and forming a translucent mirror image of the first image onto a second transparent media 36 whereupon the first image and the second mirror image are placed face to face or back to back and positioned between opposing layers 42, 44 of transparent material where application of ambient light will produce a luminous effect on the dual image. Enhancement of a part or entire images is further achieved by centrally placing a thin layer of tissue paper 46, cut into the desired shape and sized between the two layers 34, 36 of transparent media holding the images. The tissue paper 46 serves to diffuse light imparting a luminous quality to the coplanar images, in either frontal 16 or backlighting 18 conditions.

Abstract: A lightweight, portable, reliable and functionally self-contained device for illuminating a sign is disclosed. The portable illuminated sign has particular application by realtors when selling real estate property, which has been listed. A method of onsite advertising and promotion of property available for sale comprising the steps of: providing an illuminated sign having a opaque or translucent face, a solar cell to generate power, a battery to store power, a lamp bulb, and a photo cell to turn power on to the lamp bulb in low ambient light; positioning the sign in a prominent location so that it can be viewed by passers by; and, removing the sign subsequent to sale of the property.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a sign comprising two or more housings which are interlockingly connected together around a pole. Each housing has a selectively adjustable collar arrangement which can be adjusted to size to fit around the pole.

Abstract: A display assembly for mounting advertisement panels on a road barrier having a base, a vertical partition having front and rear surfaces, and transverse cavities extending between the surfaces. The display assembly has a panel sleeve and a pair of mounting brackets for securing the sleeve against the barrier. Each mounting bracket has an insert for extending partially into the transverse cavities. One mounting bracket is mounted against the vertical partition front surface and the other bracket is mounted against the vertical partition rear surface. The inserts of the mounting brackets are simultaneously brought into close proximity within the cavities and are mated together to hold the brackets and the panel sleeve securely against the vertical partition. The panel sleeve is secured to the mounting bracket and has a horizontal top lip oriented downward and a horizontal bottom lip oriented upward. The advertising panels may be easily inserted therebetween for display and removed when desired.
