Abstract: An advertising sign comprises a main housing to accommodate an upright passing therethrough and configured to affix to the upright at a desired height. The main housing presents forward and rearward facing, generally planar, primary advertising surfaces. Retaining assemblies extend along opposite sides of the main housing. Each retaining assembly is configured to releasably retain a secondary advertising insert that presents forward and rearward facing advertising surfaces. Forward and rearward facing upper support panels extend upwardly from the main housing and are configured to support forward and rearward facing advertising onserts thereon. Forward and rearward facing lower support panels extend downwardly from the main housing and are configured to support forward and rearward facing advertising onserts thereon.

Abstract: A signpost system includes a signpost assembly, comprised of a vertical post and horizontal bar; hinge assemblies, which hingedly connect portions of the vertical post, such that the vertical post is foldable; sign hooks, each slidably attachable to the horizontal bar, such that varyingly sized signs can be hung from the horizontal bar; a post support assembly, which is detachably insertable into a ground surface; and a removable step bar, which can aid in the insertion of the post support assembly into the ground; whereby the post support assembly is insertable into the vertical post, such that signpost assembly is secured in an upright position by the post support assembly when inserted into the ground surface.

Abstract: A banner frame mounted on two or more anchor stakes or spikes. The anchor stakes are configured to provide a natural anchor once driven into the ground, thereby preventing the typical leaning, bending or bowing of the posts that leads to sagging of the banner. A single anchor stake or spike may also be to support a single post for applications where a single post is needed.

Abstract: The invention relates to devices and methods that help deliver dynamic messages, including advertisements on placards, medallions, and lighted campaign signs. The augmented placard of the invention includes two components: a corrugated yard sign and a medallion. A stand holds the corrugated yard sign in a specific position. The corrugated yard design displays the first message, while the emblem contains the second message. The second message is preferably independent of the first message but may be related to the first message. The medallion embeds on the corrugated yard sign by a connecting element that provides a temporary attachment between the medallion and the corrugated yard sign. The placard can contain more than one medallion attached to it. Furthermore, the placard has the provision for attachment of an illumination source to maintain the visibility of the messages in any condition, including when it is dark.

Abstract: A display unit may be a cooler merchandiser for displaying products, such as food and beverages. The cooler merchandiser may have a housing that contains a display portion for displaying one or more products and a cooling portion that may be configured to cool the products in the display portion. A frame may be attached to the housing and may extend along at least a portion of the perimeter of a surface of the housing. A removable insert may slide into the frame so that it is positioned adjacent to a surface of the housing. The removable insert may include a cardboard material and the housing may include a rigid styrene material. The removable insert may display a graphics that may be customized. An opening may be provided in the housing to provide access to the display portion and a thermo-protective barrier may be provided to cover the opening.

Abstract: An advertising display has support structures that attach to a pole. One or more advertising panels are mounted on the support structures to form an advertising display. The display may have the form of a cylinder, a triangle, a rectangle, an oval or other shapes. The display may optionally be tapered. The support structures may have a variety of score lines, at which the support may be folded as appropriate for the particular diameter of the pole. The panels may be secured to the supports by way of clips or other mechanical fasteners. Double-sided adhesive may be employed to secure ends of the panels, as desired.

Abstract: A rotating adapter attaches a secondary sign to a primary sign. A first insert component includes an extended tine and a second insert component also has an extended tine. The second insert component may also include a shaft sleeve. A connection shaft is coupled to the first insert component, and is configured to insert within the shaft sleeve of the second insert component and defines an axis about which the second insert component may rotate. The extended tines of the first insert component fixedly couple with the primary sign and the extended tines of the second insert component fixedly couple with the secondary sign.

Abstract: A sign holder includes a base, a first sign sleeve and at least one second sign sleeve. The base has a mounting portion configured to mount to an electronic kiosk, a sleeve support portion and a connecting portion coupling the mounting portion to the sleeve support portion. The first sign sleeve receives at least one sign and is mounted to a front surface of the sleeve support portion and the at least one second sign sleeve receives at least one sign and is mounted to a front surface of the first sign sleeve.

The panel may be positioned such that at least a portion of the informational communication is substantially visible through the viewing plane. Abstract: A sign system for displaying product information to consumers positioned proximate a product being vended. The sign system is characterized as having a planar support and a primary sign is releasably retained by the planar support having product information made visible to the consumers and further having a window configured therein. A secondary sign is releasably retained behind the primary sign such that at least a portion of the secondary sign is visible through the window, the secondary sign having a plurality of alternative pricing indicia strategically positioned thereon such that through repositioning the secondary sign behind the primary sign, alternative pricing indicia is displayed through said window. An organizer is also employed for storing secondary pricing signs for easy access.

Abstract: A sign sash is placed around a corner of an existing political campaign or other sign and conveys an additional message. A strip of paper is scored down the middle and folded over to form front and back sign sash portions. The front and back portions are connected at their edges and at least one bears a display. A sign corner can be inserted between the front and back portions and the sign sash allowed to rest on the sign and display the graphic across the surface of the sign. The sign sash is made of rigid card-stock and adhesive and/or fasteners connect the front and back portions. A fastener can secure the sheet to the sign corner or another object. The sign sash is useful for varying sign messages and for adding to the message as events change, for instance to thank supporters after a vote is concluded.

Abstract: A preferably weather resistant multi-section upright stanchion assembly for a construction site document storage apparatus, a real estate display sign and the like. The stanchion assembly includes a plurality of elongated substantially similar stanchion sections and a ground-engaging tip. Each stanchion section includes an elongated body having a hollow first end thereof and a second end thereof sized for slidable, releasable, lockable engagement into said first end of the next adjacent stanchion section to facilitate ease of height adjustment of the stanchion assembly. The stanchion assembly releasably connects at one end into a mating support cavity formed between the front and back panels of the inner frame of the storage apparatus. A single or two spaced upright stanchion assemblies support two horizontal spaced display panel support arms which, in turn, support a preferably multi-panel display sign.

Abstract: A modifiable modular sign apparatus is especially useful for fast food restaurants as backlighted menu boards. The apparatus comprises a translucent substrate board which is planar and has a front surface and a back surface. Precisely positioned holes are prepared at selected locations. These holes are aligned with thin metal shims which are affixed on the back surface of the mounting board and receive cylindrical magnets. In one embodiment the magnets are attached directly to the rear of printed sheet. In a second embodiment, magnets are positioned in the mounting board holes adhesively secured to the shims. Each printed sheet has a plurality of snap-caps extending through respective holes. The board side end of each snap-cap has a metal member for being magnetically affixed to a magnet in the mounting board hole. The printed sheet may be provided with price carriers to permit personnel to change prices.

A curved cantilevered arm is detachably connected to the support post and outwardly extends in a lateral direction. A curved frame is detachably connected between a distal end of the arm and the upper portion of the support post for holding and integrally securing a sign to the arm and post. An additional sign holder is placed on top of the arm insertably receiving and displaying additional information. The frame is detachably connected between the arm and the support post so that the display sign can be readily changed. The anchoring device includes a flanged arrangement which resists twisting of the post and tilting of the post when it is buried in the ground. Illumination means is provided for lighting the sign and a power supply, such as a solar collector, is provided.
