Abstract: An exemplary fan clip device for moving and increasing the movement of air from a fan for a golf cart is presented. The fan clip device is attachable to a golf cart that can hold a fan that can provide a strong throughput of air to allow the golfer to cool off and have an enjoyable experience. The fan clip device is further easily attached and detached from the golf cart, as well as portable and reusable when a next golf outing is arranged.

Abstract: A panic barrier for containing pedestrians on the occasion of big events. Said barrier is such as not to overturn whenever the crowd presses against the parapet, thanks to the presence of a fulcrum element integral with the lower portion of the parapet on the side opposite to that of the footboard on which pedestrians walk. Advantageously numerous variants of modular fences can be created by combining a plurality of panic barriers with each other.

Abstract: Various embodiments of a modular signage system having a modular post that enables placement and display of a plurality of signs. The modular post includes a tab chamber that engages one or more signs and is configured to engage a stake for embedding within a ground surface.

Abstract: A pipe support system includes a pair of leg supports spaced apart from one another. Each of the pair of leg supports includes an elongated base and a column. The pipe support system also includes a strut coupled to each column of the pair of leg supports and at a first height above the elongated bases. A support platform coupled to each column of the pair of leg supports and at a second height above the elongated bases. The support platform defines a longitudinal axis, and the second height is different from the first height. The pipe support system further includes one or more rollers coupled to the support platform. The one or more rollers are disposed around the support platform and rotatable around the longitudinal axis.

Abstract: A merchandise display stand includes a pair of brackets for carrying a panel having advertising indicia on a first end thereof. A plurality of spaced-apart upright supports extend vertically, and a channel extends across a horizontal support that spans the spaced-apart upright supports. The channel defines an upper and lower flange. The upper and lower flange define a space therebetween for selectively receiving a power cord. Each bracket defines a pair of shoulders on a second end thereof. Each of the shoulders is configured for engaging with a respective flange to receivably engage each of the brackets with the channel.

Abstract: A marker cone system which provides users with greater spatial awareness and guidance when using marker cones for sports training or other sports and/or non-sports related activities. The marker cone system generally includes a weight which may be installed underneath the marker cone and a post receiver which may be installed within the channel of a marker cone. The post receiver and weight will generally be connected together, such as by threaded engagement, with the marker cone being secured therebetween. A marker post may be removably inserted within the post receiver to improve visibility or provide additional functionality. The marker post may include a slot to reduce wind resistance and one or more receiver openings adapted to removably receive cross members. By utilizing multiple marker posts with post receivers, one may construct a hurdle, fence, goal, or any number of structures for sports or non-sports applications.

Abstract: A graphic display assembly includes a base having a top surface, a bottom surface and a plurality of spaced-apart holes extending through the base between the top surface and the bottom surface. A pillar extends from the top surface of the base and has at least one elongated channel. A sign has a portion that is held by the at least one elongated channel and a remaining portion extending outwardly from the pillar. The sign includes a bottom edge that is spaced apart from the top surface of the base.

Abstract: A graphic sign fixture is described for use with a vehicle. The graphic sign fixture comprises at least two legs, a sign frame system, and a graphic sign. Each leg includes an upper post section, a lower post section, and a base section. The sign frame system comprises either a silicone edge graphic frame or a first sign frame cross-section member; a second sign frame cross-section member; and a locking system. The weight of the vehicle holds the legs in an upright position when the vehicle's wheels contact the base sections. The method comprises providing a graphic sign fixture, assembling the graphic sign fixture, and placing the wheels of a vehicle in contact with the base sections of the graphic sign fixture, such that the weight of the vehicle holds the legs of the graphic sign fixture in an upright position.

Abstract: Disclosed is a pivotable signpost support device. The device includes a signpost support that is vertically aligned with a ground post support, wherein the signpost support is disposed above the ground post support that is affixed to a ground post. The signpost support and the ground post support are secured between first vertical support and a second vertical support. The signpost support is pivotally secured to the first and second vertical supports by means of a pivot bolt having a die spring at an end thereof, so that it can pivot forward and backward relative to the first and second vertical supports. The pivot bolt can tighten the die spring so as to keep the signpost support in an upright position but allowing the signpost support to fall into a collapsed position.

Abstract: A bracket assembly for securing a vertically disposed elongated cylindrical support member to a vertically disposed post or the like. The bracket assembly includes an upper bracket and a lower bracket. The upper bracket includes upper and lower plate members having uniquely designed openings formed therein. The lower bracket includes upper and lower plate members with the upper plate member of the lower bracket having a uniquely shaped opening formed therein. A clamping means is also provided on the lower plate member of the upper bracket and on the upper plate member of the lower bracket.

Abstract: A multipurpose sign base suitable for supporting temporary signs includes an upstanding mast supportable atop a support surface by a substantially horizontally extending, elongate, support member connected to a lower region of the mast, and by a plurality of elongate leg members of adjustable length each having an upper portion movably connected to a central region of the mast, and each having a lower portion movably connected to a different foot adapted to engage a different area of the support surface at locations arrayed about the mast. An upper region of the mast is connectable to a sign to support and display the sign. The legs and feet have retracted positions near the mast. A rearwardly extending formation of the horizontal support member can be coupled to a vehicle hitch so the sign base also can be supported on a vehicle for transport while displaying a sign.

Abstract: A portable traffic sign and safety stand suitable for use directing traffic under changing conditions. The traffic sign may be rotated in the safety stand to change traffic direction to drivers. The safety stand may include safety features such as lighted signs on the sides. In addition, the safety stand is of suitable height for use for stretching, and may have amenities such as cup holders, storage compartments, hand-held radio holders, and hand-held sign holders.

Abstract: An end frame assembly configured to be coupled to a product display structure includes an elongated post, an arm, and a sign holder. The arm is coupled to and extends away from a top end of the elongated post to define a free end opposite the elongated post, defines an internal cavity, and includes a bottom panel defining two or more slots extending longitudinally through the bottom panel of the arm between the free end and the elongated post. Each of the two or more slots provides access to the internal cavity. The sign holder defines a top edge including a rail section. The rail section slidably couples with the arm via one of the two or more slots and is at least partially maintained within the internal cavity of the arm. The sign holder extends through the slot and hangs downwardly from the bottom panel of the arm.

Abstract: A media display assembly comprises a support and a sign holder. The support defines a substantially vertical section, a substantially horizontal section, and a bent transition section extending between the substantially vertical section and the substantially horizontal section. The support is formed in a substantially L-shape. The sign holder includes a first panel and a second panel sized substantially identically to the first panel. The first panel and the second panel are coupled to one another along a closed edge of the sign holder and define a slot therebetween them for receiving a sign. The second panel of the sign holder is coupled to the substantially vertical section of the support on a side of the substantially vertical section opposite the substantially horizontal section. The second panel of the sign holder extends in a plane substantially perpendicular to the substantially horizontal section of the support.

The road sign mounting apparatus is adapted for being carried by a circular base having an open interior and a rim, and an upper profile and lower profile. The road sign mounting apparatus comprises a body and a plurality of legs carried by and extending outward from the body. Each of the plurality of legs is intended for being carried by the circular base. A road sign support is pivotally carried by the body and has a first position wherein the road sign support is carried beneath the upper profile of the circular base when carried by the circular base and a second position wherein the road sign support extends in a general vertical direction intersecting the plane defined by the upper profile of the circular base. The road sign support includes a locking mechanism for locking the road sign support in the second position. The road sign mounting apparatus may be carried by a tire having reflective surface.

Abstract: A weighted sign post base which may be formed in various weights and has a central portion made of resilient material, such as compression molded rubber, having a universal sign post mounting hole molded into the center of the base. The universal sign post mounting hole is uniquely shaped to create a friction grip sufficient to secure the sign post to the universal sign post base upon insertion of the sign post into the universal sign post mounting hole, thereby eliminating the need of any mounting hardware and allowing speedy erection of the sign.

Abstract: A device used with a traffic cone to support caution tape includes at least one head extending from a body. The head is received in the opening defined at the top of a typical traffic cone to support the device in an upright position with respect to the cone. The body of the device is adapted to support a section of caution tape. The body may define a slot that allows the tape to be supported in an unfolded condition.

Abstract: An impact absorbing sign post with quick change-out capability and method is provided. The impact absorbing sign post includes an upper sign post for carrying a sign, an intermediate cylindrical hollow bollard post carrying the upper sign post and a lower hollow bollard post mounted immovably in the ground supporting the intermediate cylindrical hollow bollard post. A easily removable pivot base flexible joint member with a dome portion is mounted between the intermediate cylindrical hollow bollard post and the lower hollow bollard post. A quick change-out spring kit is housed substantially with the lower hollow bollard post in includes a coil spring that is compressed by a tension means such as a cable or chain. When the sign post is impacted by a vehicle and the spring kit is damaged a replacement quick change-out spring kit may be easily installed after removal of the original spring kit without the necessity of removing the lower hollow bollard post from the ground.

Abstract: A bus stop sign and notification device is powered by an electric circuit that includes a solar panel and battery mounted in a battery box on a bus shelter or vertical support pole. The vertical support secures first and second signs and first and second illuminators for information dissemination and visual attraction. Long lasting light-emitting diodes in various colors are mounted on an adjustable or swivel hood that is used to aim the lights. The lights can include a flashing strobe light for attracting the attention of a bus driver at a distance. A reflector shield on the pole can protect wires and reflect different color light when the sign is illuminated and attract attention to the sign at night. The illuminators are activated by a button switch by bus passengers for reading the signs and notifying a driver to stop for passengers.

Abstract: The present disclosure, in one embodiment, relates to a biodegradable mailbox that includes a receptacle. The receptacle has a post attachment integral with the receptacle. The mailbox also includes a post, the post having a first end and a second end, the first end being securely insertable into the post attachment of the receptacle. The mailbox also includes a base into which the second end of the post is securely inserted. The mailbox is comprised of cardboard and contains no glue.

Abstract: A logo displaying miniature football pylon is disclosed. The pylon includes an elastomeric body having a greater longitudinal, height-wise dimension than a transverse dimension. The pylon has a height-wise bottom portion, which includes a height-wise bottom surface for being seated on a tabletop, and a weighted mass substantially concealed therein, providing stability to the pylon when positioned on the tabletop. The pylon includes a top surface which height-wise opposes the bottom surface, and at least one side surface that includes at least one logo portion, which is at or adjacent to the pylon top surface, and contains logo indicia. From this, the pylon is capable of stably displaying the logo indicia in an upright configuration above the tabletop.

Abstract: A retractable double-sided banner stand has a base, two upright posts, a crossbar, and a single banner with graphic image(s) disposed on both sides of the banner. The base generally includes a housing, two housing end cap assemblies, a single core, and a retracting mechanism. The banner is wound around the core, and the retracting mechanism unwinds and winds the banner with respect to the core. The leading edge of the banner is attached to the crossbar, which is wider than the width of the banner. The banner stand has an erect upright mode for displaying the images(s), and a collapsed mode for transporting the banner stand. In the erect mode, the upright posts are retained in the base by means of a quick-release locking mechanism, the banner extends upwardly from the base, and the crossbar engages with, and is supported by, the upper portion of each of the upright posts.

Abstract: A display system utilizing a graphics box as a primary component is disclosed. The graphics box greatly increases the flexibility and aesthetic appeal of displayed graphics cards. The ability to mass produce the graphics box, use multiple graphics boxes to deliver displays of different size and information content and, especially, the ability to reuse the graphics boxes, means that costs of the disclosed display system are relatively low and are achievable without a decrease in the aesthetic appeal of the entire display. Structures for supporting the graphics box to further increase the flexibility of the display system are also disclosed.

Abstract: A sectional I-beam post for use along a roadside in which the post has a first elongate lower section securable via a first slip type coupling to a base anchored in the ground. Slip movement of such coupling is in a direction across the length of the post. The first coupling includes L-shaped brackets with one leg thereof attached to the post by bolts so as to be detachable therefrom and notches in the outer end of the other leg which projects outwardly from the post A second elongate upper post section has the lower end thereof connected to the upper end of the first post section by a second slip type coupling. Slip movement of the second coupling is in a direction lengthwise of the post. The second coupling includes an end plate bolted to at least one post section including at least one notch that providing a slip connection with the other post section.

Abstract: A bollard assembly having a post and a sleeve. The post has a cylindrical post wall forming a cavity, an insert included with in the cavity and a longitudinal passage in the post wall. The insert has a helical wedge at its lower end with a gap in the wedge. The sleeve has a cylindrical sleeve wall forming a cavity and a latch pin that is attached to the sleeve wall and extends into the cavity. The sleeve is adapted to receive the post such that the latch pin travels through the passage in the post wall and the gap in the wedge of the insert wherein the insert can then be rotated such that the latch pin and gap are no longer aligned and the latch pin prevents upward movement of the insert and post.

Abstract: A traffic control assembly for marking roadways or other marking areas is shown generally having a base, a stake, a pin, a collar, and a flexible marker that extends substantially vertically from the base when in a non-impacted and non-deformed state. The pin passes through pin holes in the stake, collar, and marker when the traffic assembly is installed. The traffic control assembly has fewer parts and is thus easier to install and replace. The pin is in contact with the base to provide support to the stake and prevent it from listing when the assembly is struck by a vehicle.

Abstract: There is disclosed an improved portable stand especially adapted for mounting targets for a shooting range, which consists of a base unit formed by a first leg and a second leg rotationally mounted to the first leg. The first leg is provided with a pair of spaced apart mounting apertures, each of the mounting apertures provided with lock means incorporated therein. At least two vertical arms are adapted to be mounted into each of the mounting apertures and lockingly engaged therein, and the vertical arms are adapted to hold and display a target therebetween.

The base member has one or more compartments so that liquid or solid ballast can be added to stabilize the sign stand in windy conditions. The upper and lower wall members of the otherwise hollow base member are joined together at one or more locations where the sign display member is connected to the base member. The base member can be made by blow molding techniques. Wheels are provided on one edge of the base member in order to allow the sign stand to be rolled and easily moved to different positions. Axle members secure the wheels to the base member. One or more resilient members can be used to connect the sign display member to the base member.

Abstract: A cable marker pole system is described for marking the location of buried utility cabling. The cable marker pole system includes a base for embedding in earth or concrete, and a two-part pole assembly that couples with the base. The two-part pole assembly includes a spring coupling the two pole members to allow the pole assembly to flex if struck. A sign is attached to the top of the pole assembly to indicate what is buried.

Abstract: The invention relates to a support structure for use in supporting a road sign or the like. A longitudinal tubular support member has a uniform cross-section that includes a plurality of circular or part-circular port sections for receiving an end anchorage. Enclosing wall sections extend between the port sections and are shaped to include a concave form so as to promote inward collapsing of the support member in the event of an impact to the support structure.

Abstract: A surface-mounted base for a breakaway signpost. The base is configured as a sphere so as to present no edges that may be impacted by a vehicle and includes a sunken socket ensuring that no metal shards project above grade after a post is damaged. The base is provided with recessed slots for retaining securing bolts therein. This arrangement prevents the securing bolt heads from being contacted by the undercarriage of a vehicle or mower and plow blades of maintenance machines. The slots also allow for rotation of the base during installation ensuring correct orientation of the signpost. Reflective or florescent materials can be attached to the recesses to enhance night visibility.

Abstract: A display comprising a retractable banner stand assembly has a base with a pair of banners extendable therefrom, each banner having a forward surface and a rearward surface. When extended, the banners are arranged in a spaced back face to front face visually overlapping relationship with each banner having graphics on the forward sides of the banner. A forward banner having a different shape than a rearward banner whereby significant portions of the rearward banner may be viewed from directly in front of the banner stand assembly. The precise portion of the rearward banner viewable being dependent upon the viewing angle in front of the display. The base including a housing with each banner being retractable into said housing. In a preferred embodiment the graphics will be aesthetically complementary from the forward banner to the rearward banner; for example, a portion of the graphics on one banner may continue on another banner.

Abstract: A portable sign includes a light weight post and an arm that is pivotally attached by a hinge to an upper portion of the post and can be locked orthogonal to the post. The hinge enables the sign to be collapsed, such that the arm folds against the post, to facilitate storage and transport. In one embodiment, the post includes a shaft configured to be driven into the ground using a rotary drive tool. The shaft includes a head configured to engage the tool, which provides the motive force required to drive the lower portion of the post into the ground. Some exemplary embodiments employ a base configured to surround the lower portion of the post. The base can serve several functions, including providing support for the post, providing a container for flowers, and providing space for additional signage.

Abstract: The present invention is an article of manufacture, more particularly a sign. The sign is preferably freestanding, having a post assembly constructed from at least two elongated sections. Each elongated section having two ends, and each elongated section having means for removably connecting one end of the elongated section to the end of another elongated section, thereby creating a post assembly. The bottom end of the post assembly connected to a base, suitable for maintaining the post assembly in a substantially vertical position, and with a top end of the post assembly connected to a sign assembly. One alternative embodiment for the post assembly is to replace one or several of the post sections with springs. An alternative embodiment for the base is a convex bottom, with an outwardly curved section pointing downward. Both of these alternative embodiments, as well as a filled up base promote the upright quality of the present invention.
