Abstract: An article for use on a mattress includes a bedding article and means for orienting the bedding article on a mattress. The means for orienting the bedding article on a mattress may be hidden from view when the bedding article is installed on a mattress. The means for orienting the bedding article on a mattress may be one or more of color contrasting sections, indicia, labels, or stitching. The bedding article has two sides, a top end, a bottom, an opening for seating around the bed, an edge around the opening, and four corners, with two corners being at the top end and two corners being at the bottom end. An article for use as a cover for an underlying item is also disclosed, with the article including a cover article and means for orienting the cover article on an underlying item.

Abstract: A trusted information communication device comprising a receiver configured to receive a client certificate; a processor coupled to the receiver and configured to: authenticate the client certificate, extract, in response to the authentication, attributes from the client certificate, and create, in response to the extraction, a message comprising reformatted attributes based on the attributes, wherein the reformatted attributes can be trusted; and a transmitter coupled to the processor and configured to transmit the message.

Abstract: A method of updating existing screen printing or other manufacturing processing in order to generate sheets and other bedding with marking indicators for proper alignment of the covering on a mattress, and the covering as produced. For a top sheet it would be marked along the top edge of the sheet as well as the body of the sheet which contacts the corners of the mattress at the foot of the bed, and for a fitted bottom sheet the markings would occur at each corner of the sheet which is associated with a corner of the mattress. Optional side indicators located between the corner indicators may also be included. The purpose is to provide a quick and easy identifier for locating the corners of the mattress with the sheet so that the sheet is quickly and easily placed symmetrically upon the mattress the first time.

Abstract: A bound component including a cover having an outer perimeter, a plurality of pages, and a binding mechanism binding the cover and the plurality of pages together, wherein the binding mechanism includes a plurality of coils. The bound component further includes a sell tag including at least one opening, the at least one opening receiving at least one coil of the binding mechanism therethrough, wherein the sell tag includes a flap which is folded about part of the outer perimeter of the cover.

Abstract: A decoration in a variety of shapes and including a substantially flat main body and a string. The main body has a plurality of extensions extending from a base portion. Each extension has an aperture therethrough at its free end. The string passes through each aperture in a same direction. The extensions are foldable such that the ends with the apertures are stacked and the string passes through the apertures in a line. Accordingly, the decoration forms a curved surface. Two edges of the main body can be attached to form a closed loop structure. The extensions may extend from both ends of the base portion to form fully enclosed surfaces, for example a sphere.

Abstract: A bicycle is provided with an identification device. The identification device includes a base, an identity plate and two fasteners. The base is formed on the bicycle. The fasteners are used to attach the identity plate to the base so that the identity plate cannot be removed from the base.

The animal registry system is operatively connected to a communication system providing an automated response to incidents involving the registered animal.

Abstract: Light weight, foamed panels are suspended in spaced relation above the floor of an arena to create “privacy zones” which facilitate discussion and concentration on details. In the prior art, attachment of the panels to mounting rods was predicated on cementing wooden strips in the upper surface of the panel, in order to provide T-nuts, into which suspension rods are threaded. The improved installation employs a plurality of attaching members, each of which has a tubular body portion which is inserted through a vertically disposed hole in the foamed panel and an ornamental flange projecting laterally and underlying the bottom of the penal. Each tubular body portion has a threaded portion which is threaded onto a supporting rod. Torquing surfaces are provided on the attaching members to facilitate their being threaded onto the supporting rods.

Abstract: An address plate is fitted over a building wall having a stepped profile configuration established by overlapped courses of shingles or clapboards. The address plate includes a generally flat display panel for displaying indicia pertaining to the address of the building and tongues inserted between the overlapped courses to hold the display panel in juxtaposition with a selected course. Tabs are placed at steps between the overlapped courses for fasteners which secure the address plate in place.

Abstract: A swimming pool has a plurality of substantially vertical side walls, with each side wall having a top. A coping is attached to the top of a side wall of the pool and has a curved facia. A signage platform is attached to the facia of the coping. The signage platform has a substantially vertical display wall and an adjoining substantially horizontal display wall. Visual indicia are located on each of the vertical display wall and the horizontal display wall.

Abstract: Filtering bags manufactured with materials selected to withstand specific conditions of service which include labels made of materials resistant to such conditions of service which have markings resistant to such conditions of service for the life of the filter bags. The labels are preferably incorporated in the filtering bags so as not to form filtering zones.

Abstract: A fastener assembly for engaging a lattice-like structure. The fastener assembly includes a main body having individual portions which interact with a vertical component of the lattice. An object of interest, having a plate upon which an emblem or decorative ornament may be mounted, is borne by the main body and operable to be releasably secured on it. The object of interest may be fastened or otherwise fixed to the main body by a fastener which is operable to engage the main body and the object of interest thus securing the main body and the object of interest on the lattice-like structure.

Abstract: A tamper-resistant owner identification badge for bicycles comprises a hardened steel badge debossed with a registration number, a reward offer, and a toll-free phone number. An aluminum sticker inscribed with the owner's personal information is attached to the badge. The badge, formed by two opposing casing members, is mounted around the seatstay tube of a bicycle. Two screws sunken into counterbores hold the casing members firmly together. Sealing discs tapped flush into the counterbores permanently deny access to the screws, so that removal of the badge is extremely difficult for even the most experienced thieves. The personal information on the badge provides anyone who sees the bicycle, but particularly law enforcement authorities, a means to compare the person possessing the bicycle with the characteristics of the rightful owner. Even if the sticker is removed, the reward offer and the toll-free number will help to induce any person who finds the bicycle to report the discovery.

Abstract: A bag for handling ore samples constructed from a flexible semipermeable sheet material folded to have a top opening, an obverse side, a reverse side, and at least one folded seam. The folded seam comprises an edge of the obverse side and an edge of the reverse side folded together and secured along a path adjacent to the fold. The bag may have a wrap around label disposed over and secured to the folded seam such that a front portion of the label is disposed adjacent the obverse side of the bag and a back portion of the label is disposed adjacent the reverse side of the bag. The label bears indicia on the front portion and on the back portion wherein the indicia on the front portion is machine readable bar code and human readable indicia and the indicia on the back portion is human readable and corresponds to the indicia on the front portion. One embodiment of the bag has a secured lock top which can be interchangeably opened and closed by manipulation of a configuration of the top portion of the bag.
