Abstract: An article of jewelry includes a housing divided into upper and lower portions. The housing can be moveable between an open configuration and a closed configuration. The housing can include therein a post on which a reel assembly including a paper roll can be assembled. One end of the paper roll can be extended through a nonlinear paper slot in an outer wall of the housing. The paper roll can include a plurality of printed messages, stickers, or other designs thereon. The nonlinear paper slot can provide tension to maintain the end of the paper roll within the nonlinear paper slot to facilitate tearing off the end of the paper roll.

Abstract: A fluid container and method of manufacture. The fluid container may be a drinking vessel, and may include an opening in a bottom surface thereof and a coupling device around the opening. The coupling device may include a first component in contact with the bottom surface of the fluid container around the opening and a second component in contact with the first component in a fluid-tight closed configuration. The second component may include a magnetic material. The coupling device may be biased in the fluid-tight closed configuration via magnetic attraction of the first and second components.

Abstract: A rolling information display apparatus and a method of displaying product information on a roller grill. A circular and symmetrical thimble device is configured to accept replaceable product information displays through the center of the device. The thimble acts as a collar for the product display information sign which is removable to allow for changing product information. The apparatus rolls along with the movement of the roller grill on which products are kept warmed in a typical retail display. The apparatus and the method of display disclosed allow for immediate labeling of products on a retail roller grill along with quick change capability to allow information to be changed in the thimble without the need to open up any apparatus or device.

Abstract: A media display assembly comprises a support and a sign holder. The support defines a substantially vertical section, a substantially horizontal section, and a bent transition section extending between the substantially vertical section and the substantially horizontal section. The support is formed in a substantially L-shape. The sign holder includes a first panel and a second panel sized substantially identically to the first panel. The first panel and the second panel are coupled to one another along a closed edge of the sign holder and define a slot therebetween them for receiving a sign. The second panel of the sign holder is coupled to the substantially vertical section of the support on a side of the substantially vertical section opposite the substantially horizontal section. The second panel of the sign holder extends in a plane substantially perpendicular to the substantially horizontal section of the support.

Abstract: An apparatus for identifying a particular baby stroller in a crowd of parked strollers. The apparatus has at least one distinctive ornament for providing immediate recognition coupled to a band for attaching to a handle of a particular stroller in a visible position. The ornament has shiny trim for reflecting light, improving visibility. The ornament selectively couples to the band, allowing a first ornament to be exchanged with another ornament to selectively coordinate with a user's clothing. A plurality of apparatuses can be attached to the stroller to further ease immediate recognition of the particular stroller.

Abstract: In one aspect, a rolling information display apparatus for use with a roller grill includes an elongated envelope. A cap is removably positioned over at least one opening of the envelope. An information bearing medium is removably positioned inside the envelope. In one embodiment, a sealing member is disposed to create a substantially watertight seal over at least one opening of the envelope. In another aspect, a rolling information display apparatus for use with a roller grill is a cylindrical rolling member having one or more rolling surfaces rolling in contact with heated rolling surfaces of the grill. The cylindrical rolling member also has one or more recessed surfaces bearing information about food items offered for sale on the grill. The recessed surfaces are provided in regions of the rolling member that are of diameter less than regions of the rolling member in which the rolling surfaces are provided.

Abstract: The invention relates to a display element for attaching advertising to the handle of a shopping cart or the like. The display element includes a base body having a recess for inserting advertising media in a flat manner and fastening elements for fastening the display element on the handle bar, or the handle bar mounts, of a shopping cart. The display element is made of half shell-shaped parts, which in the joined state surround the handle bar, or the handle bar mount, in the shape of an enclosed box profile. The half shell-shaped parts are non-positively or positively connected to the handle bar.

Abstract: In one aspect, a rolling information display apparatus for use with a roller grill includes an elongated envelope. A cap is removably positioned over at least one opening of the envelope. An information bearing medium is removably positioned inside the envelope. In one embodiment, a sealing member is disposed to create a substantially watertight seal over at least one opening of the envelope. In another aspect, a rolling information display apparatus for use with a roller grill is a cylindrical rolling member having one or more rolling surfaces rolling in contact with heated rolling surfaces of the grill. The cylindrical rolling member also has one or more recessed surfaces bearing information about food items offered for sale on the grill. The recessed surfaces are provided in regions of the rolling member that are of diameter less than regions of the rolling member in which the rolling surfaces are provided.

Abstract: A device for displaying advertising from a turnstile arm includes opposing collars securing a sleeve displaying the advertising. One collar is frictionally secured to the arm using an O-ring carried in a groove within an inside wall surface of an opening through which the arm passes. A flange extending fully around the outside surface of the collar provides a snap-fit into a groove within one end of the sleeve. The outside surfaces of the collars make a smooth transition to the connected sleeve. A second collar includes a clamp is carried within its opening securing the second collar to the turnstile arm. Two recessed portions have a bore extending through the second collar through which fasteners extend for adjusting the clamping. A notch extending around the second collar receives the sleeve.

Abstract: A storage device for storing rolled documents includes a tube pivotally mounted to a housing and advanceable between retracted and extended positions relative to a roof of the housing. The roof covers an open end of the tube in the retracted position. In the extended position, the open end of the tube is advanced away from the roof to permit rolled construction drawings to be inserted into and removed from the tube. A floor extends across at least a portion of the tube to prevent the rolled documents from falling out of the tube. Clamps mounted on the housing enable mounting of the storage device on a post, such as a T-post. The storage device may include a display panel having a pocket formed by a sheet of transparent flexible plastic into which a building permit may be positioned and displayed.

The hollow receiving tube in conjunction with the essentially closed distal end and the proximal base end act to retain the preprinted material in a protected environment which aids in ensuring a clean, quality representation of the preprinted material for protracted time periods, especially in environments where people may come into repeated contact with the display apparatus and it is desirable to maintain the quality of the preprinted material, such as restaurants, trade shows and retail sales stores.

Abstract: An anchor plug for use capping in-ground anchors is disclosed. The anchor plug may be used in capping masonry anchors located in pool decks, for example, capping the anchors used to retain pool covers. The anchor plug typically has a cylindrical body, for example, a hollow circular cylindrical body, having a first end and a second end; and a cap mounted to the first end of the cylindrical body. The cap may vary in thickness from a minimum at an edge of the cap to a maximum at about the center of the cap. The cap may include human readable indicia, such as, safety warnings or provider name. The anchor plug may minimize or prevent personal injury or damage to the anchor.

Abstract: A color-coded identification plug facilitates identification of pipes, conduits, and like structures at a construction or building site. A backing layer between the skin layer and the 4-way stretchable material layer can be inserted for support. The wrap-around advertising surface of the present invention is designed to be releasably attachable to the railing or other hand support system.

Abstract: A system is used for identifying IV administration set components, wherein the IV set includes an IV solution container, a drip chamber having a hollow spike for introduction into the container, and an IV line for delivering the IV solution to a patient. The system includes a first identification element that is removably attached to the drip chamber for subsequent attachment to the container; a second identification element permanently affixed to the drip chamber; and a third identification element that is either permanently or removable attached to a Y-site or port in the IV line. Preferably, the first identification element is a strip or patch that is adhesively attached to the drip chamber in a manner that will allow it to be removed therefrom for subsequent attachment to the container. The second identification element is a marker, preferably a strip or a patch, that is permanently affixed to the drip chamber.

Abstract: The present invention optimizes searching for a garment by localizing an area to be searched to a portion of the original search area through the use of closet organizers. The present invention is particularly useful for challenged persons by decreasing the area for searching for a garment to a more manageable portion thereof. Accordingly, with respect to one exemplary embodiment of the present invention a plurality of closest organizers subdivide a closet into a plurality of sections and each section contains a group or collection of garments each having a matching attribute. Coinciding with and proximate to each group of garments is a closest organizer having a unique characteristic or attribute that corresponds to a matching attribute that is common to each of the garments in the of the collection of garments located in a particular section. Identification attributes on the closet organizers are selected based on the user's ability to comprehend the selected closet organizer attribute.

Abstract: A decorative pole cover for enhancing the appearance of an upright building support pole or tree trunk. The decorative pole cover includes a flexible sheet having a generally rectangular shape and having upper and lower end margins and elongated flexible attaching lines connected in spaced apart relation along the side margins of the flexible sheet. The flexible sheet also includes decorative indicia on one surface thereof which conveys a visual impression of a totem. The upper and lower margins of the flexible sheet each include elongated closely spaced flexible strands connected at one end thereof and extending from the upper and lower margins which simulate hair and a skirt, respectively, of the totem.

Abstract: A bulb assembly connected with a decorative flower includes a bulb, a bulb holder, a cylindrical sleeve made of an elastic material, and a decorative flower having soft petals. When a bulb assembly is broken, it can be replaced with a new one, while the use of the decorative flower with soft petals can be continued.

Abstract: A ring assembly for a pen has a bottom ring, a top ring, and a slender bridge connecting the bottom ring and the top ring. In assembly, a barrel of the pen extends through the bottom ring and the top ring, so that a sticker adhered around the barrel is securely attached to the barrel by clamping of the top ring and the bottom ring. Furthermore, a gap formed by two conjunct sides of the sticker is concealed by the bridge. By such arrangement, the ring assembly is able to be decorative and to avoid peeling of the sticker from the barrel after long-term use.

Abstract: An apparatus for providing advertising on a gas pump hose includes a frame with a slide located on one edge that can be slid into a slide housing located on a hose connector collar. The hose connector collar is connected to the gas pump hose by a clamp located at opposite ends of the hose connector collar. Advertising structure is placed within the frame and at eye level of a customer of the service station to maximize the effect of the advertisement while the customer is at the service station.

The housing wall has an outer surface and an inner surface. Additionally, the housing wall has at least one opening disposed between the upper end and the lower end. At least one light source is located inside the housing and is operatively connected to the opening. There is also a cap that has a top and a bottom. The cap bottom is adapted to fit inside the housing upper end. A substantially cylindrical sleeve capable of passing illumination therethrough is adapted to closely fit about the outer surface of the wall.

Abstract: A sign display device consists of a substantially U-shaped bracket with arms that resiliently grip a bar member such as used to form a frame for mounting a poster or sign. Slots extend through the bracket and are sized to receive sign clips that are affixed to the back of a sign. Use of the sign display device permits attaching a secondary sign to a main sign or poster display, with the bracket concealed by the secondary sign and standing out from the surface of the main sign for increased or enhanced visual recognition.

Abstract: A weatherproof seasonal tree ornamentation includes a sheet of clear waterproof plastic which is dimensioned to fit around the trunk of a tree and which is imprinted with at least some facial indicia such as two eyes and a mouth. When the ornamentation is attached to a tree, the clear portion of the ornamentation blends in with the color of the tree trunk and the facial indicia appear to be part of the tree. The resulting effect of the ornamentation is to give the appearance that the tree is an animate character having a face. According to a second embodiment, the sheet of clear waterproof plastic is imprinted with indicia of a complete animate character, i.e. face, torso and legs. When the ornamentation of this embodiment is attached to the trunk of a tree, the clear portion of the ornamentation blends in with the color of the tree trunk. The resulting effect is the appearance of an animate character standing in front of the tree.

Abstract: A flashlight outer sleeve is formed of rubber which has an integral camouflage pattern. Because the multicolored elements of the sleeve are fused together, a scratch or abrasion will not appreciably alter its appearance. The rubber sleeve is formed in a compression molding process. Multilayer rubber sheet assemblies are prepared for the compression molding process by first die-cutting camouflage pattern shapes from thin sheets of rubber of two or more colors. The die cut shapes are placed on rectangular base sheets and pressed into temporary engagement to create multilayer sheet assemblies. The sheet assemblies are disposed in conventional rubber compressing molding molds and are heated. As the base sheet and the pattern shapes are comprised of identical rubber material, except for color, the heated rubber flows such that the multilayer assemblies take on the shape of the molded parts.

Abstract: The invention is directed to a decorative assembly, including a pole, a decorative element wrapped about and covering at least a substantial portion of the pole, and a sleeve wrapped about each of the decorative element and the pole. The sleeve covers at least a substantial portion of each of the decorative element and the pole. The sleeve is constructed of a resilient and transparent material, and is configured to closely fit about the decorative element, whereby the decorative element is held closely adjacent to the pole by the sleeve and is visible through the sleeve.

Abstract: A lamp base comprising an external transparent sleeve and an interior, outwardly tensioning rigid or semi-rigid thin flexible sleeve or sheet which bears upon the interior of the external transparent sleeve due to outward tension. The rigid or semi-rigid thin flexible sleeve or sheet is capable of securing decorative materials such as wall paper or upholstery or items of specialized sentimental value such as photos or any other pliable flat materials of special interest to the owner. The decorative materials may be easily and repeatedly changed as desired by the owner of the lamp.
