Abstract: A tag is configured to be inserted into a product. The tag includes a label portion and an insertion portion. The label portion has a first width. The insertion portion extends from the label portion, has a second width that is less than the first width, and has a length. An elongated wire extends along the length of the insertion portion to at least a part of the label portion. The tag has sufficient rigidity to enable a user to hold the label portion and force the insertion portion into the product. In another aspect, a method of attaching a tag to a product is described. The method includes holding the label portion and forcing the insertion portion into the product.
Abstract: Provided is, among other things, a shoe having a sole that includes multiple layers and an upper attached to and extending above the sole. In addition, the shoe includes a tab having: (1) a first portion, located between adjacent layers of the sole and thus hidden from view, that is imprinted with identification information pertaining to the shoe and (2) a second portion that is visible during ordinary use of the shoe.
Abstract: The invention relates to a plurality of at least 1000 plant pots for use in cultivating plants. Each plant pot has a side wall and bottom which delimit an interior space for substrate which is open at the top, in which the bottom has a bottom side which is turned away from the interior space. Each plant pot is provided with a tag which has an optically readable code. The tag is arranged on the bottom side of the bottom, and the optically readable code is turned away from the bottom so that it can read from below when the plant pot is upright. The invention furthermore relates to an assembly with these plant pots as well as to a method for cultivating plants.
Abstract: A display marking tag for marking an item has an adhesive fastening strip for fastening the tag to the item to be marked, and a second strip, which can be adhered to the fastening strip, and which has a surface for being printed upon. On the side of the second strip disposed in contact with the fastening strip there can preferably be a semitransparent coating for decreasing the translucency of the second strip.
Abstract: In the packaging of foodstuffs in flexible tubular sheaths made of plastic, natural guts or netting and closed by closing staples by means of closing machines, it is often desired to include in the closing staple a tag, which bears the inscription required for the package. Besides, such a tag is required to be able to be provided with a sufficient inscription and should have a portion which can be gripped by the closing staple. For that purpose a tag strip 1 is provided, which for its feeding is centrally provided with a continuous perforation line in the feeding direction and which between the tags 5 has a sufficiently long portion 4 which is narrower to such an extent that said portion when it has been severed from the preceding tag can be engaged and embraced by the closing staple 7.
