  • Patent number: 11625208
Abstract: A system for error reporting in a printing device. The system includes a printing device having components configured to display a list of saved printer settings interfaces, which may be public or user account-specific. The printing device displays a user selected printer settings interface from the list. This may include the prepopulating of preferred settings for various printer settings associated with the interface. When errors occur during printing, an error report including the printer settings is provided to a network support resource to enable rapid detection of the cause of the error.

  • Patent number: 10967816
Abstract: An apparatus having an electrical generator and an energy transfer device coupled to the generator. The energy transfer device has a first capacitor having a capacitance of at least 1 Farad and storing at least 1 MegaJoule of energy, a high-energy inductor coupled to the first capacitor, a second capacitor having capacitance of at least 100 Farads, a switch coupling the second capacitor to the first capacitor and configured to store energy from the first capacitor in the second capacitor through the inductor when in a closed state. The apparatus further has an energy transfer controller controlling an open or closed state of the switch, and an electrical motor coupled to the energy transfer device and a mechanical drive system.

  • Patent number: 9134107
Abstract: A solenoid valve having a condition monitoring unit, and a method of condition monitoring this solenoid valve are specified. A core of the solenoid valve can be shifted with respect to a holding coil and a measuring coil. A reading voltage is applied to the measuring coil, and the current intensity of a current flowing through the measuring coil is determined at a first and a second time. The first measuring is performed during a switching-on or switching-off operation of the current flowing through the measuring coil. The second measuring is performed when the current intensity of the current flowing through the measuring coil has reached a stationary condition.

  • Patent number: 6682233
Abstract: In a wire dot printer head of the present invention, an armature is formed by coupling a magnetic circuit formation member having a supported piece with one end inserted into a cavity formed on a surface of a yoke to an arm coupled to a wire. The supported piece of the armature is rotatably supported by a support point, thereby a side surface of the cavity and a side surface of the supported piece, and a bottom surface of the cavity and an end surface of the supported piece can be set in the proximity. Accordingly, magnetic resistance between the magnetic circuit formation member and the yoke can be reduced.

  • Patent number: 6254291
Abstract: A printing head control apparatus 10 is used for a dot-impact printer in which a dot is formed on a paper set on a platen via an ink ribbon 16 with an impact force applied by a pin 18. The printing head control apparatus 10 comprises: a dot classifier for classifying into a normal dot b1 and a final dot b2 the dots constituting a print data “a” supplied from an upper-node apparatus 20; and a printing head drive controller 26 for supplying to the printing head 24 a normal dot print drive signal c1 and a final dot print drive signal c2 for the normal dot b1 and the final dot b2, respectively.
