Abstract: A front cover structure is used in a label printer, including a back board forming a paper roll support device; a front board coupled to the back board and defining a first hole and including a first cross bar, a second cross bar and a third cross bar, of which the second and third cross bars are parallel to and positioned against the first cross bar; a pressing board defining two second holes in two side projections thereof and a third hole, and being coupled to the front board with a first connection bar extending through the first hole and the second holes; and a lock board defining a plurality of fourth holes in opposite edge portions and being coupled to the pressing board with a second connection bar extending through the third hole and the fourth holes.
Abstract: A printer having a roll paper compartment 8 for housing a recording paper roll and a movable divider 83 for adjustably setting one side of the roll paper compartment 8 to adjustably accommodate different widths of roll paper and to facilitate placement of a remaining paper detector 90 in the roll paper compartment 8 for detecting how much paper remains on the paper roll. The divider facilitates installation of an after market remaining paper detector in the printer. The remaining paper detector can be positioned at a plurality of different angular positions around an axis of rotation substantially parallel to the widthwise direction of the printer. The roll paper compartment 8 of the printer 1 has a bottom 81 and a fixed side panel 82 for defining the other side of the roll paper compartment. The divider 83 is removably connected to the bottom 81, and can be selectively fixed to any one of a multiple number of positions along the width of the printer parallel to the longitudinal axis thereof.
Abstract: A printer that is able to accommodate rolled papers of different widths. The printer includes a rolled-paper holder and a partitioning member. The rolled-paper holder includes a bottom wall having a first contact bottom portion and a second contact bottom portion, a first contact side wall, and a second contact side wall, wherein the sidewalls are substantially parallel to each other. The partitioning member includes a third contact side portion arrangeable in parallel to the first contact side wall and the second contact side wall, a third contact bottom portion that is brought into elastic contact with the bottom wall at a predetermined elasticity and may be stopped there by engagement, and a coupling portion that may be coupled to the second contact side wall.
Abstract: The thermal printer pertinent to the present invention is of the type in which a heat sensitive paper having a coating of heat sensitive material on the upper side and a coating of heat fusible ink on the backside is used. A thermal head is brought into contact with the upper side surface under pressure to transfer the ink coated on the backside of the heat sensitive paper onto a common paper. According to the invention, a feed source of the heat sensitive paper and a feed source of the common paper are provided separately at different positions.
