Abstract: A vehicle is equipped with a spotlight. The spotlight has a rod that passes through a pillar of the vehicle, such as the A-pillar. The A-pillar includes one or more beams. The beam is provided with an aperture or a through-hole for the rod to pass through. One or more sleeves are provided with a tubular body and a flange. The flange is secured to the beam and is oriented such that the tubular body passes at least partially through the aperture or through-hole. The sleeve provides an engagement surface that surrounds the rod of the spotlight while improving structural rigidity of that portion of the pillar.

Abstract: A large screen display drive mechanism. A drum is rotatably mounted to a truss by an axle that extends centrally through the drum and mounted by bearings, in turn, mounted to the truss. A large screen display is wrappable on the drum and is electrically connected by a cable assembly extending through the drum and outwardly thereof through a sprocket fixedly mounted to an end of the drum. The cable assembly is wrapped around a portion of the axle extending outwardly of the drum. A motor with sprocket and chain drives the sprocket attached to the drum.
Abstract: When the length of a print area in a print tape is designated and an instruction to print a symbol image of a two-dimensional code and character information is given, a printing apparatus sets the print size of the symbol image of the two-dimensional code to a predetermined print size defined as the initial setting, but changes the print attributes of the character information from the initial values to adjust the length of the character string, so that the character information can be printed together with the symbol image of the two-dimensional code within the print area in the print tape, that has the designated length. The printing apparatus prints the character information whose print size is adjusted and the symbol image of the two-dimensional code maintained at the predetermined print size, in a serial arrangement, in a range of the print tape having the designated length.
Abstract: If a top cover 5 has been opened, a link lever 34 is moved backward in conjunction with the motion of the top cover 5, so that a release lever 51 is rotated clockwise as seen from the left side about a level shaft 50. Also, a release gear 49 and a release shaft 48 are rotated about 180° counterclockwise as seen from the left side, via a lever gear 52. Accordingly, a head supporting member 37 is rotated downward, resisting an urging force of a pressing spring 36, so that a thermal head 32 is separated from a platen roller 35 and entry of a roll sheet 3A becomes possible through an insertion port 26.
