Mounted On Carriage (e.g., For Extra-wide Sheet, Cylindroidal Holder, Etc.) Patents (Class 400/623)
  • Publication number: 20120275839
Abstract: A sheet storage device and an image forming apparatus capable of increasing extractability and visibility are provided. A plurality of trays 330 (330a to 330e) receives sheets sequentially conveyed from an image forming apparatus main body 100A from a lower part thereof and stores the sheets in a standing condition. The plurality of trays 330 (330a to 330e) is configured such that a downstream end in a sheet conveying direction and a front end in a direction perpendicular to a sheet conveying direction of the stored sheets protrude from the trays 330 (330a to 330e).

  • Patent number: 7201522
Abstract: A printer cartridge suitable for use in a cartridge-based printer houses and dispenses a roll of label media, and includes a housing having a top wall and a bottom wall. A yoke pivotally mounted between the top and bottom walls for pivotable movement about a pivot axis includes a label media supply shaft for holding a roll of label media. The label media supply shaft has a longitudinal axis spaced from, and parallel to, the pivot axis. A label media drive roller is rotatably mounted between the top and bottom walls, and a biasing means biases the yoke toward the label media drive roller to maintain the roll of label media in contact with the label media drive roller. Ratchet teeth fixed relative to at least one of the housing and yoke engage structure of the other of the housing and the yoke to prevent the yoke from pivoting away from the label media drive roller.

In one embodiment, the yoke is adjustable to accommodate different label media widths.

  • Patent number: 4451168
Abstract: A workpiece such as a paper or a card is held in proper position in a typewriter having a paper scale for typing to the bottom of the workpiece without side slippage by the inventive workpiece holders. Each of the pair of holders mounts fixably, detachably, and slidably flush with the outer surface of the paper scale and has an inner member positioned when mounted such as to be parallel to the outer surface of the paper scale and at a suitable distance out and on each side of the workpiece for free movement of the workpiece between the member and the outer surface of the paper scale.

  • Patent number: 4379645
Abstract: A large format paper handling assembly has an axially stationary platen which is rotatably mounted on pivotally mounted support arms. The platen is supported on spaced frame supported front guide rollers and rear feed rollers. The off axis rear feed rollers are adapted to be manually and/or automatically line indexed to frictionally feed paper between the rear feed rollers and the platen. Hold down rollers are mounted on a bail extending between spaced paper feed release levers which are pivotally mounted on the frame about the axis of the front guide rollers and are movable away from the platen against the bias of springs. The springs acting through the hold down rollers maintain the platen in frictional engagement with its supporting front guide rollers and rear feed rollers. The pivotal movement of the paper feed release lever withdraws the hold down rollers and also acts to pivot the platen support arms to move the platen away from the front guide rollers and the rear feed rollers.
