And A Tape-punch Or Card-punch Apparatus Patents (Class 400/79)
  • Patent number: 8089662
Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes an interface unit which receives print data and file data; a printing unit which prints an image on a recording medium; a writing unit which stores tag data in a non-contact type tag when the recording medium provides the non-contact type tag; a buffer unit in which file data is stored in the non-contact type tag; and a control unit which controls the printing unit and the writing unit. The control unit stores the file data in the buffer unit when the file data is received. The control unit controls the printing unit to form an image on the recording medium based upon content of the print data when the print data is received. The control unit controls the writing unit to store the file data stored in the buffer unit in the non-contact type tag.

  • Patent number: 7475819
Abstract: The tag-label producing device includes a print head for performing printing with respect to a print area of a cover film, a loop antenna for performing transmission/reception of information to/from an RFID circuit element, and a tape feed roller for imparting relative movement between the print head or loop antenna and a tag label tape with print. At this time, a control circuit determines the chronological sequence relation between the arrival of the RFID circuit element at a communication position where transmission/reception of information is performed with respect to the loop antenna, and the completion of the printing by the print head with respect to the print area. In accordance with the result of this determination, the operation modes of the tape feed roller, loop antenna, and print head are switch-controlled in a coordinated fashion.

  • Patent number: 4768435
Abstract: The invention provides a printer apparatus which comprises a pair of doors mounted for opening and closing movement on opposite sides of a body case in the form of a housing, a printer located inside each of the doors for receiving elongated continuous print paper therein in such a manner as to allow the print paper toward the door and for printing on the thus received print paper, and a pair of issuing openings located on opposite side portions of a front wall of the body case for issuing therefrom the print paper after printing by the printers. Thus, two different types of print paper can be set in position in and printed by the two printers, which reduces the necessity of frequent label exchanging operations. Besides, an operation for exchanging print paper for each of the printers can be performed readily by opening the door for the printer.
