Abstract: A utensil for cleaning a cooking surface has cleaning head affixed to a distal end of an elongate handle. The head has a base and a porous cover. Submerging the head in a liquid enables the liquid to flow through the porous cover and perforations in the base into chambers within the base. Applying the head having the liquid-filled chambers against the cooking surface enables the liquid to flow from the chambers and through the perforations and continuously dampen the porous cover.

Abstract: This personal All in One Antimicrobial Hand Brush offers a novel function from the existing art. The most convenient and effective method for removing pathogens from the hands whether at home or outside the home. It includes a bristle side used for sweeping under the nailbed and a sponge side to clean the hands. Both sides are connected to a base containing a chamber inside. The chamber contains a barrier filled with a personal care solution(s) released by squeezing the hourglass indentation after pulling the tab to remove the barrier. The barrier prevents the solution from leaking prior to use. The device will also be available to provide the same optimal method to clean in-between pet paws for dogs and cats. Pets commonly carry pathogens found in soil and grass. Wiping paw pads alone will not remove these pathogens similar to hand washing without sweeping under the human nail bed.

Abstract: The invention is directed to an elevator track cleaner. The track cleaner is provided in a rectangular scrub brush configuration, providing a platform with a raised handle affixed to the top surface. The bottom surface provides a longitudinal band of stiff, flexible bristles along the centerline, and two longitudinal bands of small hooks on either side of the bristles for the purpose of securing a flexible white scrub pad. The pad is used to scrub the elevator track, with the bristles urging the pad into the groove where the track is located.

Abstract: A bare floor cleaner has a base and a handle pivotally connected to the base. A fluid delivery system of the bare floor cleaner includes a source of cleaning fluid and a fluid distributor in fluid communication with the source of cleaning fluid for dispensing cleaning fluid onto a surface to be cleaned. A plurality of support glides are provided on the base to reduce the surface area contact between the base and the surface to be cleaned.

Abstract: A brush head for an electric toothbrush having a support structure rotatably oscillated by a motor in the handle of the toothbrush. A plurality of bristle tufts are mounted on the support structure in three ring-like series concentrically about a center point of the support structure. The bristle tufts are arranged in a unique arrangement whereby no more than two of the bristle tufts in the intermediate series and innermost series lie on a diameter line passing through the center point. The outermost and intermediate series of bristle tufts may be arranged in oval-shaped rings and the bristle tufts of the inner series may have a circular arrangement. All of the tufts preferably have the same height and diameter.

Abstract: An applicator is provided with a container including an internal space for storing lotion, a channel at an upper end of the container, and a projection at a lower end of the container; and an application assembly disposed on an upper end of the container and including a plurality of tubes each including a projecting applicator head at a lower end. Each tube includes two opposite cavities at a lower end and two opposite protrusions at an upper end and adapted to secure to the cavities. The applicator heads can be stacked on the upper end of the container by using the channel. A perforated disc is attached to a bottom of the projection. After the lotion is used up, a user may detach the perforated disc prior to refilling lotion into the space. Characteristics of easy use, multiple section, easy replacement, and portability can be carried out.

Abstract: A device and method for treating an ingrown nail condition is provided. The method prevents a phenol solution that is applied during a P & A procedure from coming into contact with the surrounding skin and nail bed. The device is essentially a plastic tube which comes in different lengths and widths and has a specially shaped aperture located at one end. A stick-shaped cotton applicator is inserted through the tube so as to ensure direct application of the phenol solution onto only the nail matrix. As a result, the phenol solution is prevented from coming into contact with the skin and nail bed, thereby reducing post-operative healing time, post-operative infection and post-operative pain.

Abstract: The paint trimmer includes a rigid base and a handle removably attachable to the base. The handle includes a bladder for storing paint. A paint applicator is associated with the base and fluidly coupled to the bladder via a manifold. Accordingly, a user may selectively dispense paint from the bladder to the paint applicator via the manifold for application to a surface to be painted. A paint mask associated with the base and offset from the paint applicator prevents paint from dispensing to undesired locations of the surface.

The brush body may be arranged to dispense the washing solution in proximity to the bristles if a scrubbing force is applied to the bristles. A bladder may be positioned below the bristles and may be arranged to contain the washing solution. The bristles may contain a channel generally deposed within the bristles. The channels may act as a via between the solution contained within the bladder and an outside surface of the bristles.

Abstract: A cleaning utensil for cleaning a container comprises a first cleaning unit and a second cleaning unit is axially movable relative to the mounting for the first unit. The second unit is for location axially within an axial aperture of the first unit. Each cleaning unit includes a brush with relatively outwardly extending bristles. The first cleaning unit includes a sponge which is relatively outwardly extending. There is a closable cavity in the handle for containing cleaning fluid, and the cavity is connected with the first cleaning unit or second cleaning unit. Cleaning fluid can be expelled from the container through one of the units to facilitate the cleaning of the bottle. The first cleaning unit effectively cleans a portion of an inside of a baby bottle, and the second cleaning unit effectively cleans a second portion of an inside of the baby bottle.

Abstract: A liquid applicator structure which has an application tip fixed to front end of a cylindrical body and a liquid supply assembly built in its rear end. The liquid supply assembly includes a rotatable rod composed of a cylindrical shank-and-operating end and a solid rod having male threads thereon. The rotatable rod is held with an anti-rotation member having a cantilever-like extension. A split slide member having two split extensions is engaged with the rotatable rod at its rear end. One of these split extensions is inserted within the cantilever-like extension of the anti-rotation member and the rotatable rod, thereby preventing the split slide member from rotating. A piston member abuts on the split slide member. Rotation of the rotatable rod causes the split slide member and the piston to advance and drive liquid toward the application tip.

Abstract: A brush with an automatic water control valve is disclosed. The brush includes a handle portion pivotably connected to an actuation portion and rigidly attached to a brush portion. A fluid passageway is provided through the handle portion into the bristles of the brush. Communicating with the fluid passageway is the flexible tubing which is adapted to be connected to a water fluid source under pressure. A valve is provided for opening and closing the passageway formed by the tubing and for providing flow through the passageway to the brush portion. The valve is actuated by a pivoting motion of the actuation portion with respect to the handle portion. The valve includes a roller which engages the flexible tubing and squeezes same, such that the normal rest position of the actuation portion with respect to the handle portion closes the tubing.

Abstract: A cleaning implement is provided with an internal valve for automatic water shut-off which can be regulated by hand. The implement connects to a conventional water supply, for example, a garden hose. When the valve is open, water is supplied through a removable sponge or brush to a surface to be cleaned. The valve is opened when two portions of the implement are pivoted with respect to each other. This can be done by pressing the sponge or brush against a surface to be cleaned, pivoting the two portions of the implement and thereby opening the valve. Alternatively, the two portions can be held by handles, one in either hand, and pivoted to open and close the valve. An opening is provided in the brush or sponge to allow water to stream from a nozzle to the surface to be cleaned, unobstructed. A soap dispenser is also incorporated into the implement. The nozzle and soap dispenser direct fluid from the user when the implement is held in the hands. The implement may be used with other fluids not water.

Abstract: An apparatus is described for applying a liquid to treat the nap and backing of a rug or carpet. The applicator having a cylindrical body enclosing a hollow reservoir with teeth extending from inside the reservoir outwardly through the body such that the nap of the rug is penetrated to apply liquid to the backing of the rug. The teeth and, optionally, the cylindrical body are porous, allowing the treating liquid to migrate from the reservoir to the surface to be treated as the apparatus is moved across the surfaces.

Abstract: A toothbrush assembly combining a toothbrush handle, a brush assembly releasably engageable with a head end of the handle, and an oral hygiene device releasably engageable with the tail end of the handle. The head end of the handle has a recess formed therein designed to provide a snap fit with a base of the brush assembly. Abstract: A toothbrush assembly having a handle, a brush assembly releaseably interconnected with one end of the handle, and a massaging device connected with a second end of the handle. The brush assembly has a cylindrical base shaped to be received in a recess in the end of the handle and has an array of bristles arranged to provide a concave brushing surface. The massaging device includes a carrier having a container of liquid positioned in an internal cavity of the carrier. The container is positioned so as to be broken and dispense its contents when an end of a toothbrush is inserted into the carrier. A porous, absorbent material forms an outer surface of the device and absorbs the liquid for application to the gums of a user.

Abstract: An elongated hollow body member is arranged to receive a cleaning solution and has a cleaning head on the lower end thereof. The cleaning solution is arranged to be admitted to portions of the cleaning head by squeezing a flexible portion of the hollow body member. The cleaning head comprises an axial shank-like extension on the lower end of the body member and includes a soft resilient covering on one portion thereof and a brush on another portion thereof, such cleaning portions being of a diameter which allow them to be moved between the toes for cleaning such areas. The cleaning head also has a cross brush on the lower end of the axial extension for cleaning surface portions of the feet.
