The support rib extends along the longitudinal axis of the toothbrush from an upper edge of the toothbrush's head (14), to a central region of the toothbrush's lower portion. The lower portion of the toothbrush handle has first and second opposed, outwardly flared side edges (30, 32) that are joined together at the lower edge (34) so that the lower portion has a substantially V-shaped cross-sectional contour. The user cups the toothbrush (10) in the palm of his hand and extends two fingers adjacent to the support rib to stabilize the toothbrush (10) while brushing his teeth.

Abstract: Apparatuses for dispensing viscous fluids, tools for dispensing drywall joint compound, and methods. Embodiments include a chamber containing the fluid or compound, a discharge head, and a valve that is normally closed and opens in response to a force applied by pressing the tool against the drywall. Embodiments include a stopper linked to the nozzle, and when the nozzle is moved, the stopper moves from blocking an orifice, to not blocking the orifice. Chambers include a pressure plate, two side plates, a back plate, and a radius plate, and at least one spring or spring hinge that applies a force on the pressure plate. A torsion spring may be substantially concentric with the pivot point. Certain methods obtain or provide a source of pressurized drywall joint compound, an attachment feature, a valve, an enclosed passageway, and a linkage from the attachment feature to the valve.

Abstract: A mortar applying machine incorporating housing, having a rotatable drive wheel mounted therein, the drive wheel adhered upon a pivot shaft located within the housing, and the drive wheel being disposed through the bottom of the housing for mortar and engagement with the surface of a row of blocks previously applied in the forming of a building wall. Fixedly mounted to the same shaft are a pair of paddles, formed of blades, which assure the proper shifting and movement of the fluid mortar into position within the housing, for passage out of its lower openings, and onto the transverse lands of the row of blocks as previously applied into the building wall. A diverter is provided within the housing to assure that the fluid mortar flows towards the front of the housing with respect to the direction of its movement when depositing a layer of mortar onto a previously laid row of blocks.
