Abstract: A surface treatment robot includes a chassis having forward and rear ends and a drive system carried by the chassis. The drive system includes right and left driven wheels and is configured to maneuver the robot over a cleaning surface. The robot includes a vacuum assembly, a collection volume, a supply volume, an applicator, and a wetting element, each carried by the chassis. The wetting element engages the cleaning surface to distribute a cleaning liquid applied to the surface by the applicator. The wetting element distributes the cleaning liquid along at least a portion of the cleaning surface when the robot is driven in a forward direction. The wetting element is arranged substantially forward of a transverse axis defined by the right and left driven wheels, and the wetting element slidably supports at least about ten percent of the mass of the robot above the cleaning surface.

The palm pen can include a spherically shaped body, and an ink delivery system. The ink delivery system can include a tip having an end connected to the body and an opposite end comprising a nib, an ink conduit having an end coupled to the nib within the tip and an opposite end extending inside the body, and a first ink cartridge fluidly coupled with the opposite end of the ink conduit and contained within the body. The ink delivery system can additionally include a cartridge holder having an active cartridge slot for the first ink cartridge and cartridge storage slots for storage of additional ink cartridges.

The marking device holder may be operable to move a writing instrument over a writing surface in a straight line. The plurality of touch points may form a stable base for the body that may resist tipping and may reduce friction during forward motion of the body. As non-limiting examples, the writing instrument may be a pen, a pencil, a mechanical pencil, a marker, or a stylus. As non-limiting examples, the writing surface may be paper or a device screen.

An adjustment cylinder is adjustably carried within a barrel to adapt the pen body to a length of the refill cartridge. Abstract: A dispensing tool for dispensing caulk includes a cartridge housing shaped to receive a cartridge of caulk. The cartridge includes a support bracket which extends to a pivot element, and an applicator head is mounted on the pivot element. A material hose connects the exit nozzle of the cartridge with the applicator head. A dispensing nozzle of the applicator head dispenses the caulk flowing from the cartridge. The cartridge includes a drive mechanism to push the follower of the cartridge to dispense the caulk, and a pneumatic cylinder for moving the applicator head from a first position to a second position, and further includes a return spring for returning the applicator head from the second position to the second position.

At least one connection member connects the blade to the body such that the blade is moveable to selectively engage the bottom application edge with the flowable material. A connection between the connection member(s) and the blade or the body is configurable in first and second alternate configurations. In the first configuration, the connection member(s) maintain the bottom application edge at a constant orientation with respect to the body. In the second configuration, the connection member(s) allow a variation of the orientation of the bottom application edge with respect to the body.

Abstract: Apparatus and methods for smoothing and blending drywall mud are provided. The apparatus provides a tool having one or more flexible blades to be applied to unfinished cured drywall mud. The blades may be selectively flexed by driving a displacement member towards or away from the blades. The flexed blades may be used to smooth and feather portions of drywall mud to conceal underlying irregularities and to blend with surrounding drywall. The blades may be biased against the displacement member by biasing mechanisms. The tool may receive multiple blades, including a rough-edged blade for a first pass across the drywall mud and a smooth-edged blade for a subsequent pass across the drywall mud. The blades may be kept in place with connectors which may be flexibly connected to allow for flexion.

Abstract: A wearable lanyard for securing and displaying an object, such as one or more mini-figs. A bottom fastener such as a ring can be provided at the bottom. A majority of the length on at least one side of the lanyard can be used as an object attachment area and provided with the connector mechanism. In one embodiment, the connector mechanisms can be raised studs. The lanyard can be worn as a decorative three-dimensional ornament around the wearer's neck and used to store and display mini-figs that are adhered or secured to the raised studs.

Abstract: The present invention provides a drawing tool for an artist, draughtsman or hobbyist etc., the drawing tool comprising a handle and a retaining means disposed on the handle. The retaining means being adapted to releasably retain an elongate drawing material, such as a graphite lead, in an orientation substantially transverse to the axis of the handle. In use, manipulation of the handle and selective application of pressure to the elongate drawing material enables the drawing material to be applied to a drawing surface to thereby control the degree of shading on the drawing surface. The hand tool has particular application to reliably rendering gradients when shading with graphite and chalk etc. To be accompanied, when published, by FIG. 1 of the drawings, deposit varying thicknesses of graphite on the paper to modify the gradient of the shading.
