  • Patent number: 7503719
Abstract: A connecting system for connecting a mesh sheet to a concrete member. The connecting system comprises an anchor structure and a first pin member. The anchor structure defines a loop passageway and a pin opening. The anchor structure is adapted to be partly embedded within the concrete member. A mesh loop portion is formed on the mesh sheet. The mesh loop portion extends into the loop passageway. To connect the mesh sheet to the concrete member, the first pin member extends along the pin opening and through the mesh loop portion of the mesh sheet. Force applied to the concrete member away from the mesh sheet causes the first pin member to engage the anchor structure and the mesh loop portion to inhibit movement between the mesh sheet and the concrete member.

  • Patent number: 5288058
Abstract: Skeletal railing systems are usually formed of metal tubing welded together and/or interconnected by metal T-connectors, cross connectors and elbows. The assembling of such railing systems is often time consuming and expensive. A simple alternative includes tubular plastic, preferably polyvinyl chloride posts and rails interconnected by short lengths of metal tubing which extend through openings in the plastic tubes. A bolt perpendicular to one section of metal tubing extends into a plate or plug on the end of the other section of metal tubing, and a nut is tightened onto the bolt to hold the sections together.

  • Patent number: 4325698
Abstract: A molecular model building set for the formation of models of molecules and compounds primarily in the field of organic chemistry is disclosed. The set includes dimensionally accurate model building members (10, 60) that are rotatable about their axes, and can be interconnected and/or interlocked to form specific molecular models. Model building members depicting a double molecular bond (80) and a triple molecular bond (90) are also provided and can be interconnected and/or interlocked with the model building members (10, 60). All of the aforementioned model building members (10, 60, 80 and 90) are formed from a polypropylene copolymer material resulting in the members being inherently flexible while retaining sufficient rigidity to depict strain in molecular bonding. Because of this flexibility, the rotatability of the members, and the manner in which the members can be interconnected and/or interlocked, models of all known molecules and compounds in the field of organic chemistry can be formed.
