Abstract: A floor panel for forming a floor covering comprises a pair of edges provided with coupling parts allowing to couple two of such floor panels to each other by means of a rotation movement. The coupling parts are realized in the form of a tongue and a groove with locking parts. The groove is bordered by an upper lip and a lower lip which comprises a locking part in the form of an upward-directed locking part. The upward-directed part extends over a height which is more than 0.1 times the thickness of the floor panel.
Abstract: In one embodiment, an interface mount for a work vehicle includes a first mounting arm and a second mounting arm. The first mounting arm includes a mounting portion disposed at a first end of the first mounting arm and configured to mount to a base bracket, and a first mating portion disposed at a second end of the first mounting arm, wherein the first mounting arm includes a bend disposed between the first end and the second end. The second mounting arm includes a second mating portion disposed at a first end of the second mounting arm, wherein the first mating portion and the second mating portion have substantially similar contours, and the first mating portion is configured to be coupled to the second mating portion via an adjustable slotted interface, and an interface mounting portion disposed at a second end of the second mounting arm and configured to receive an interface unit.

Abstract: A floor panel includes male and female coupling means that are formed by at least one proximal groove that opens onto a lower face or upper face, respectively, of the panel and by a distal flexible tongue that extends from the end of the edge of the panel towards the lower face or upper face, respectively. The tongue has a proximal wall inclined at an angle with respect to a vertical plane towards the bottom and the outside of the panel and towards the top and the outside of the panel, respectively. The tongue of at least one of the male coupling means or female coupling means has a distal wall that includes, at least, a protrusion or a notch that is able to engage with a notch or a protrusion formed in or on a proximal wall of the proximal groove of the corresponding female coupling means or male coupling means so as to form an end stop, avoiding vertical movement of a panel with respect to an adjacent panel.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a grinding machine. More particularly, the present disclosure relates to a centerless grinding machine comprising a damping device. The present disclosure also relates to a spindle for a grinding machine, and to a damping device for a spindle of a grinding machine, particularly for a grinding spindle or regulator spindle of a centerless grinding machine, wherein the damping device comprises at least one damping unit including an auxiliary mass section, an elastic section and a damping section, which are integrated in the spindle, and which jointly define a damped vibratory system for increasing the dynamic stiffness of the spindle.
Abstract: A method and assembly for aligning airflow modifying elements on a rotor blade is disclosed. The airflow modifying assembly may be mounted onto a suction side surface or a pressure side surface of the rotor blade. Further, the airflow modifying assembly includes an alignment structure having a chord-wise extending face that may be fixed relative to the rotor blade at a predetermined position. The airflow modifying assembly further includes a first base having a root end, a tail end having an interconnecting profile, and a first plurality of airflow modifying elements. The root end is aligned with the chord-wise extending face such that the first base extends span-wise along the rotor blade. Additionally, the airflow modifying assembly includes at least one second base having a connector end with a complementary interconnecting profile and a plurality of airflow modifying elements, wherein the connector end is coupled to the tail end.

Abstract: A tunneling tool for creating a pathway for implanting a therapy delivery element in a living body. The tunneling tool includes a malleable elongated shaft having a distal end. A sheath having a lumen is slidably positioned over a portion of the shaft. A primary handle secured to proximal end of the shaft permits a user to advance and manipulate the shaft and the sheath in the living body. A secondary handle with an opening is slidably positioned on the shaft between the primary handle and the sheath. The opening has a diameter less than an outside diameter of a proximal end of the sheath. A locking mechanism releasably engages the secondary handle to the primary handle. The sheath is retained in a desired location within the living body by securing the secondary handle relative to the living body as the primary handle is used to remove the shaft from the sheath.

Abstract: A cartridge bottom bracket is for a bicycle having a tubular shell with a bore. The bottom bracket includes a spindle having opposing ends and a sealed cartridge disposed within the shell bore and about a central portion of the spindle so as to define opposing free end portions of the spindle. The cartridge includes a pipe having opposing ends, two rolling contact bearings disposed within the pipe adjacent to a separate one of the pipe ends and rotatably coupling the spindle with the pipe, and a tubular spacer disposed about the spindle and extending between the two bearings so as to establish a spacing distance between the bearings. The mutually matching retaining profiles have complementary hook elements that can be hooked into one another and the hook elements have retaining surfaces which hold the panels against each other when the panels are mounted in such a way that a gap-free surface is obtained.

The radius of curvature of the guiding lines of the conical surfaces of the projections edges and of the slots bottoms can be embodied in such a way that they tend to infinity; at least one connecting part can be embodied in the form of a through-thickness composite part.
Abstract: A pipe clip having a hook closure for connecting a first part to a second parts. The first part is provided with at least one outwardly directed hook member and the second part is provided with at least one inwardly directed hook member. Each hook member has a hook surface and another boundary surface such that when the hook is closed the hook members move towards each other in the direction of closing and pass each other until the hook surfaces of the inwardly and outwardly directed hook surfaces engage behind each other. In the closed position the boundary surfaces of the hook members hooked behind each other rest against each other. Each hook member is further provided with a locking facility such that when the hook is closed, mutual lateral shifting of the hook members is blocked. Each hook member is made of hook member halves lying side by side and adjoining each other.
Abstract: A panel connector system is provided and includes a plurality of panels and panel connectors. Each panel includes panel sidewall extensions, lips extending from the sidewall extensions, and cross-walls. The sidewall extensions, lips, and cross-walls define outwardly opening edge channels. The panel connectors include a base and a member extending generally transversely from the base. The base includes a base plate and a contact element. The arm portion includes a generally longitudinal slot, a ledge or protruding portion and a spring portion. A male seating surface extends from the ledge and a female seating surface is present on the spring portion. The clip base plate is fastened to the panel cross-wall and one of the lips is disposed in the clip slot when the clip is attached within the edge channel.

Abstract: A coupling plate frame is integrally made of hardened high molecular material and comprises a top plate section a vertical plate section, a bottom plate section, and two flap plates. The top plate section has an engaging hole thereon. The vertical plate section is integrally associated with the top plate with a width gradually reduced from a top to a bottom thereof, and has an engaging hole near the bottom thereof. The bottom plate section is attached integrally to the vertical plate section with extending outward and opposite to the top plate section from the vertical section plate. Each of the flap plates is integrally attached to the top plate section, the vertical plate section, and the bottom plate section, respectively. Each flap plate is slant at the top plate section and extends downward along the vertical plate, and the width between the flap plates is gradually smaller from a top thereof to a bottom thereof. Two of the coupling plates can be lapped to each other without occupying extra space.

Abstract: A joint structure has a male-side metal joint (3) fixed on a column (1) and a female-side metal joint (4) fixed on a beam (2). The two metal joint (3, 4) are common joints having the same shape, and have a first contacting surface (81), a second contacting surface (82) which continues from the back thereof and curves upward at an angle of less than 90.degree., and a third contacting surface (83) which continues from the front of the first contacting surface and curves downward at an angle of 270.degree. or more. When one of the two metal joints (3, 4) is put on the other, these contacting surfaces contact intimately with each other. If the two joints are fastened by a fastening bolt (5) in this state, the beam (2) is jointed to the column (1). Because the first to third contacting surfaces (81 to 83) incline, the joint metals (3, 4) do not get out of place longitudinally or vertically. Hence the simple subsequent operation of fastening and so forth can be carried out easily.

Abstract: A connector assembly for connecting two cylindrical members in which two connector members are respectively connected to the cylindrical members. The respective end portions of the connector members are adapted to interlock to prevent relative movement of the connector members, and therefore the cylindrical members, in a first plane. A sleeve extends over at least a portion of the connector members to prevent relative movement of the latter members, as well as the cylindrical members, in a second plane perpendicular to the first plane. The sleeve is lockable in its preventing position and can be easily released by a simple rotation of the sleeve.
Abstract: A slip joint connector for joining first and second structural elements together. The connector has a first body member attachable to the first structural element and a second body member attachable to the second structural element. The first body member has a male protuberance including a conical portion and the second body member has a conical receptacle for cooperatively receiving the conical portion of the protuberance. The protuberance includes a bridging portion for spacing the conical portion from the remainder of the first body member and the second body member has a well communicating with the conical receptacle for receiving the bridging portion. The conical male portion internally carries a nut while the second body member may receive a bolt through the receptacle to be threadedly received by the nut to secure the first and second body members tightly together.

Abstract: A pair of elongated cylindrical members are constructed with first and second collars extending axially beyond their adjoining ends. The first and second collars have adjoining indentations and projections at their end edges which are adapted to interlock with one another so as to prevent rotation of the two elongated members with respect to one another. A coupler is removably fitted over the exterior of the first and second collars and holds them together against axial movement with respect to one another. The collars are each welded to the axial ends of the first and second cylindrical members.
Abstract: A heavy-duty machine, such as an excavator, having a boom mounted for motion in a generally vertical arc, a stick mounted onto the distal end of the boom, and a tool mounted at the distal end of the stick. The stick is connected to the boom by a quick-disconnect coupling including a coupling member that is rockably mounted at the distal end of the boom and a coupling member mounted at the proximal end of the stick. A grab hook on the boom coupling member is used to pick up the stick by hooking onto a grab pin of the stick coupling member. A set of rack gear teeth on the boom coupling member intermesh with a corresponding set of rack gear teeth on the stick coupling member, and these eliminate play between the stick and boom.

Abstract: A coupling structure and a method of coupling resin structures wherein a first member is coupled with a thermoplastic second member through a coupling force produced by constricting the volume of the resin during molding and/or the generation of an undercut structure. The undercut structure results from the deformation of a projection member caused by the flow pressure and temperature of the resin. A recess is provided in one of the members. The recess is indented in the laying direction. On the other member, a projection is provided which enters the recess. The coupling of the two members is therefore simple and does not require the use of a subsidiary material. Additionally, when an undercut structure is formed, extremely strong coupling is obtained. Since the undercut is formed by deformation of the projection, no undercut structure is required to be formed on the die, so that no extra cost or burden has to be forced on the die.
Abstract: A car body for railway rolling stock wherein a plurality of outside plates forming the car body are joined to frame members of the car body by spot welding. The outside plates are produced of a ferrous material except for stainless steel and a film or coating is provided on an outside surface of the outside plates. By virtue of the joining of the outside plates to the frame members and the joining of the outside plates to each other by spot welding, less input heat is required as compared with a continuous welding; therefore, outside plate distortion can be reduced and time and labor for manufacturing of the car body can be reduced. Moreover, since the outside plates are produced of a ferrous material, the painting of the outside surfaces of the outside plates can easily be accomplished.

A series of shoulders, located in the female section, are provided to engage a ledge on the male section. Abstract: A tire joint apparatus (17) for assembling two sections (11,12) of a rotary combustor tire (10), where each section is provided with a hooked end portion (22, 25). The hooked end portion (25) of one tire section (12) is provided with a tapered surface (30). Upon assembly, the two hooked portions (22,25) are positioned in an overlapping arrangement and a wedge-shaped insert (29) is placed between the hooked end portions (22,25). The wedge-shaped insert (29) is provided with a tapped hole (39,40) at each end in which a wedge retainer or extractor (41) may be attached. Each hooked end portion (22,25) is connected together with two rows of bolts (34,36). A dowel (37,38) is inserted into an aperture (35,36) provided at each interface between the two sections (11,12) to insure precise alignment of the rolling surfaces (13,14) and the thrust surfaces (15,16).

Abstract: An articulated arm type machine, such as an excavator, has a boom articulated for motion in a generally vertical arc, a stick articulated onto the distal end of the boom, and a tool mounted at the distal end of the stick. The stick is connected to the boom by a quick-disconnect shoe that is rockably mounted at the distal end of the boom and a mating fitting mounted at the proximal end of the stick. A pair of grab hooks on the shoe are used to pick up the stick fitting by hooking onto a grab pin mounted thereon. A set of gear tooth racks on the quick-disconnect shoe intermesh with a corresponding set of gear tooth racks on the stick fitting, and these eliminate play between the stick and boom.
Abstract: A moldable edge connecting apparatus is disclosed that can optionally be employed as a hinge. It is suitable for use as fencing and is particularly applicable to removable fencing. It employs integrally molded connecting fingers that are designed without deep slots, lips thereover, or fully circumscribed openings to economize on mold manufacturing cost and the expense and difficulty of operating the mold, rendering the invention appropriate to very low cost items. The entire structure is substantially coplanar with segments to be connected, even when used as a hinge, and utilizes half-round grooves that are substantially no deeper than the radius of the groove.

A preferred tubular form of the coupling structure comprises at least one end configured as a polygonal array of flanged cantilever springs which serve as the socket end of a spring-lock coupling used to connect mating flanged spigot-end structures.

Abstract: For the directional drilling of boreholes, the orientation of accelerometer modules, magnetometer modules and gyroscopes or other directional sensing devices must be accurately known and maintained with respect to each other and to external mounting devices. This is accomplished by a self-aligning segmented cylindrical connection which accurately maintains modules in rotational alignment with each other for all three directions of rotation, even if the mating surfaces of the connection experience wear due to rough use in the drilling application or repeated calibration in a calibration fixture. Wedged surfaces on each of the male and female portions of the connection constitute the mating surfaces, and are the only surfaces at which the male and female portions contact one another. A depression between the mating surfaces defined by the female portion permits reproducible angular displacement of one portion with respect to the other even if one or both portions are worn.
