Abstract: To provide a fixing device for a panel which can absorb a dimensional change due to expansion of the siding board. A comb-shaped slit is formed at an area from the intermediate line C defined between opposed two sides of a rectangular metal plate to form leaf spring-shaped strip plates 41, 42 and 43. The strip plates are bent at the intermediate line C and a bend line F to form fixing pieces 41a, 42a and 43a and lock pieces 41b, 42b, and 43b so as to lock fixing ends 51a and 52b of the siding board 50. Moreover, an inclined angle ?1 of the fixing piece 41a disposed at the strip plate 41 is formed to have a different angle from an inclined angle ?2 of the fixing pieces 42a, 43a disposed at the remaining strip plates 42 and 43. Thereby the strip plates can be elastically deformed.

  • Patent number: 5056391
Abstract: A stripper apparatus retains a workpiece in position relative to a punch press apparatus during the punching operation without marking or damaging a contacted surface of the workpiece. The stripper device is an axially elongate, resiliently compressible sleeve with a through axial bore which freely passes over the punch permitting the punch to travel therethrough. The stripper device removably attaches to a coupler or coupling portion which is also used to attach the punch to a punch stem of the punch press apparatus. Removable attachment is achieved utilizing keyways formed in the coupling portion and matingly engagable keys integrally formed on a corresponding surface of the stripper device. Additionally, peripheral flanges are integrally formed on the stripper which mate with the outside surface of the coupling portion to provide greater retention of the stripper device on the coupler.

  • Patent number: 4944626
Abstract: An apparatus having two slide supports, adjustable with respect to one another, which have attachment surfaces for attaching two holding devices. The balance of the holding devices attached to the attachment surfaces of the slide supports are compensated by having the slide supports each divided into a slide support base plate and an attachment plate with the attachment surface. The attachment plates are connected in a limited adjustable manner with the slide support base plates under spring tension using spring-stressed bolts oriented perpendicular relative to the attachment surfaces. The attachment plate of the first slide support is adjustable in a limited manner through use of an adjustment bolt oriented perpendicular relative to the direction of adjustment of the slide supports on the coordinated slide support base plate.

  • Patent number: 4938622
Abstract: A first coupling device is particularly destined for a dispersing apparatus and comprises a first coupling part having a flange and a tubular connecting piece fixed thereto, the connecting piece having at least two borings for receiving one ball each, and a concentrically surrounding, free moving ring. The diameter of the boring is slightly greater than that of the balls, but in the vicinity of the inner surface of the connecting piece, it is slightly smaller so that the balls may in part protrude into the interior of the connecting piece. The lower portion of the ring has an inner circular recess so that, when the ring is raised, the balls may travel backwards into the circular recess. The second coupling part is adapted to be introduced into said connecting piece and has circular recesses for receiving said balls.Another coupling device for the slippage free connection of high speed rotating shafts of dispersing apparatuses comprises two coupling parts which both have six teeth whose flanks are of 60.

Abstract: Disclosed is a kit of low cost, light weight, corrosion resistant components, including a plurality of extruded members, certain ones of which components are factory preassembled into climbable and unclimbable tower units selected one of which are adapted to be rigidly connected end-to-end by overlapping couplings into a tower at an installation site to support a power line or other load. The couplings and the overlapping surfaces of the tower units have teeth that mesh to lock the couplings in place. The tower is specially suitable for erection in confined areas to heights in excess of one hundred feet to support power conductors. A number of components are selectively attachable to the tower in a wide variety of ways to support high tension insulators in suspension and/or cantilever fashion and to anchor guy cabling to the tower.
