  • Patent number: 7246967
Abstract: A cross clamping device comprises a base plate with first and second legs and a clamping piece that connects the two legs with each other. The cross clamping device also comprises a first clamp screwed onto the first leg by a first screw, and a second clamp screwed onto the second leg by a second screw. The base plate and the two clamps are formed such that a first bar and a second bar, which is rotated by 90° in relation to the first bar, are able to be clamped. By tightening of the first and second screws, the two bars are clamped. The two screws perform a double function, so that separate screws for clamping of the first bar and for clamping of the second bar are not necessary.

  • Patent number: 7063481
Abstract: A polymeric connector block for interconnecting a plurality of elongate tubular members into a structure has five-sided front and back sides with an orthogonal pattern of three parallel through-apertures therethrough. A fourth through-aperture passes from the left side to the right side, intersecting two of the parallel through-apertures at 90°. A non-through aperture passes from the top side and intersects the other of the parallel through-apertures at 90°. A sixth aperture extends into the block at an intermediate angle such as 45°. There are no apertures in the bottom side. Tubular members are insertable into the apertures and lockable therein by lockscrews. Tubular members may comprise tubing, pipe, electrical conduit and the like, and may include non-tubular materials such as solid rods. A wide range of structures may be created.

  • Patent number: 7017985
Abstract: A folding chair with arms includes two back-rest tubes, two seating frame tubes, a pair of front crossed tubes, a pair of rear crossed tubes, a chair fabric, and a pair of soft or rigid arms. Each of the back-rest tubes is connected cross-wise to one of the seating frame tubes. The upper portion of each of the rear crossed tubes is connected to one of the back-rest tubes via a U-shaped hinging element. The front crossed tubes are cross-wise connected, and at the crossed connection point is provided a support reinforced block. The upper portion of each of the front crossed tubes is connected to one of the seating frame tubes via an eccentric U-shaped hinging element and a fixing element. The lower portion of each of the front crossed tubes is connected to the lower portion of one of the back-rest tubes via an eccentric U-shaped hinging element.

  • Patent number: 6872027
Abstract: A guide rail clamp comprises a first clamp half and a second clamp half, which when fastened together form a slot therethrough adapted to fit a cylindrical support rod or a flat rectangular support bar. The two halves of the clamp may be held together by a pair of bolts extending through a pair of threaded sleeved nuts, which securely grip the bolts when the two clamp halves are spaced slightly apart. In a preferred embodiment, two pegs extending from one clamp half into holes located in the second half help align and secure the grip of the clamp and minimize motion of the rail. To securely fasten the support rod or support bar inserted within the slot, a bolt may be used to bias the support bar or rod against the edges of the slot.
