  • Patent number: 10190281
Abstract: This invention puts forward a sectional modular large-deformation-resistant impact-resistant composite rock bolt and its assembling method. The outer anchor module of this composite rock bolt consists of the outer anchor end, anchor tubes and anchor piers, all of which are bonded with the borehole wall through the anchorage agent to act as a full-grouted bolt. And the inner anchor module consists of the outer anchor end, anchor piers, springs and threaded rod. The threaded rod, under the traction by the outer anchor end, presses the inner anchor springs to distribute the anchoring force to the anchor piers, which then pass such force as a pressure to the anchoring agent, thus playing the role of a pressure-dispersive anchor.

A hardened, stationary resin nut formed in only part of the borehole, preferably spaced from the distal end thereof, my receive the spiral portion of the bolt. Consequently, rotation of the spiral portion within the hardened resin nut serves to move the bolt within the borehole, such as for purposes of tensioning.

Abstract: A pole with an eyelet disposed at one end and the first and second group of furled cup shaped furled containers are connected along the longitudinal length of the pole. The pole with the containers is inserted into a substance. The substance may, if desired, be sand, mud or mud-like soil. If desired, the insertion process may be accomplished by forcing the pole into the substance by applying downward force on the eyelet or twisting the pole in a clockwise direction into the substance. Once the pole is inserted into the substance the pole may, if desired, be twisted in the counterclockwise direction to unfurl the cup shaped containers. To extract the pole, the pole is twisted in the clockwise direction closing the cup shaped containers and pulling the pole in the vertical direction.

  • Patent number: 8753041
Abstract: The invention provides an injection, sealing, valving and passageway system for use with hollow rock bolts and hollow injection bars used in mining, civil engineering, tunneling and construction including use with hollow self drilling rock bolts. The invention comprises a plurality of passageways with one or more one way flow valves along the passageways. The invention enables one or more fluids to be pumped into a hollow rock bolt or other hollow elongate member either sequentially or simultaneously without cross contamination of fluids in another passageway or back flow of fluids along the wrong passageway. The invention is typically used to install self drilling rock bolts whereby a drilling fluid is initially pumped through the hollow bolt during the drilling cycle, and then a two part chemical resin or cement grout is pumped through the hollow bolt to anchor the bolt in the borehole.

  • Patent number: 8740502
Abstract: An anchor includes a rotatable anchor rod an anchor plate and an anchor nut. The screw thread in the anchor nut matches the screw thread of the anchor rod only over part of the screw thread hole. Thus the anchor nut can only be screwed some way further onto the anchor rod, and up to a predetermined torque can be used for rotating the anchor rod during placement of the anchor. As soon as the anchor rod is firmly seated in the drill hole, as a result of the action of adhesive, mortar or expansion or spreading, the anchor rod forms a through-thread in the screw thread hole when the anchor nut is rotated relative to the anchor rod, and consequently the anchor nut can finally be screwed onto the anchor rod until it affixes the anchor plate in its final position to the ground.
