Abstract: A harvester movable along a support surface. The harvester includes an inlet configured to receive crop, a blade configured to cut the crop into billet and extraneous plant matter, and a cleaning system configured to distinguish between billet and extraneous plant matter. Billet is directed toward a conveyor configured for discharging billet to a vehicle and extraneous plant matter is directed toward a hood. The hood includes a debris director defining an outlet configured to eject extraneous plant matter as residue onto the support surface. The outlet is disposed at an angle of residue ejection with respect to the support surface. The debris director is configured to adjust the angle of residue ejection with respect to the support surface.
Abstract: A pneumatic conveying system is disclosed for conveying a granular product, such as grain, from a grain inlet device to a selected one of a plurality of grain bins or other storage vessels. The system includes a blower for forcing air under pressure into a conveyor piping system. A grain inlet device is located downstream from the blower. The piping system has a portion leading from the grain inlet to an inlet in a first one of the vessels. A discharge/bypass valve is connected to a portion of the piping system leading from the grain inlet so as to receive the granular product being conveyed therethrough with the valve having a discharge outlet for discharging the granular product into the vessel. The valve is installed on the vessel such that the discharge outlet is in communication with the interior of the vessel.
Abstract: A body (1), feeding a group of enlarged pipes (2) in which straight pipes (6) slide so as to control the discharge of particles. At the exit of these tubes, the particles are propelled towards the periphery by gas jets that originate from perforated tubes (4). A rotating set of plates (3) whose periphery is fitted with brushes (30) having bristles of various dimensions, scatters the particles in such a way so as to distribute them uniformly according to a horizontal plane. A correcting device (9, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 16) that gets its feed of particles from the top of the device enables to set right any mal-distribution by directing an additional partial flow of particles towards an area where the height of the bed is low or uneven. Such a machine can also be used for the loading of silos or of catalytic reactors.
Abstract: Adjustable discharge apparatus include a first conduit apparatus with a first conduit section extending along an arcuate path about a pivot axis. A second conduit apparatus is pivotally mounted about the pivot axis in a telescoping relationship with the first conduit apparatus. Adjustable discharge apparatus kits are also provided with a first conduit apparatus, a second conduit apparatus and a third conduit apparatus. The second and third conduit apparatus of the kit are for selective mounting to the first conduit apparatus.

Abstract: This invention relates to a material transfer assembly usable with a pneumatic grain handling system to transfer granular material from a storage bin to a transport truck. The material transfer assembly is connected to a discharge side of the pneumatic grain handling system and includes a discharge joint assembly mounted between an inlet tube assembly and a discharge tube assembly. The discharge joint assembly is provided with a ball sleeve assembly mounted about a ball joint to provide for pivotal movement about a horizontal axis through a tube actuator assembly. The inlet tube assembly is provided with telescopingly mounted first and second tube members operable wherein the second tube member is selectively secured in a desired rotational position about a vertical axis by a lock arm assembly.
