Rotatable Patents (Class 406/162)
  • Patent number: 11647694
Abstract: A method for the operation of a combine harvester includes processing a harvested material flow by at least one axial separator and ejecting a residual material flow formed in this way from the combine harvester by at least two ejection devices. The axial separator is formed by a movable vane element by means of which the residual material flow exiting from the axial separator is distributed on a work member downstream of the axial separator. In order to further improve the distribution of the residual material flow on the field, an actual distribution of the residual material flow on the two ejection devices is detected, wherein, when a deviation of the actual distribution from a predetermined reference distribution is detected, the vane element is readjusted so that the actual distribution is at least approximated to the reference distribution.

  • Patent number: 10781537
Abstract: A fiber conveyor for a fiber blending unit includes a blending belt, wherein fiber material dropped onto the blending belt from a bale opener is transportable away by the blending belt. Opposite guide walls are arranged laterally to the blending belt to guide the fiber material on both sides of the blending belt. A rotary distributor is arranged above the blending belt so that the fiber material dropped onto the blending belt is distributable in a transverse direction of the blending belt between the two guide walls by rotational movement of the rotary distributor.

  • Patent number: 7588061
Abstract: A body (1), feeding a group of enlarged pipes (2) in which straight pipes (6) slide so as to control the discharge of particles. At the exit of these tubes, the particles are propelled towards the periphery by gas jets that originate from perforated tubes (4). A rotating set of plates (3) whose periphery is fitted with brushes (30) having bristles of various dimensions, scatters the particles in such a way so as to distribute them uniformly according to a horizontal plane. A correcting device (9, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 16) that gets its feed of particles from the top of the device enables to set right any mal-distribution by directing an additional partial flow of particles towards an area where the height of the bed is low or uneven. Such a machine can also be used for the loading of silos or of catalytic reactors.

  • Patent number: 6685007
Abstract: A sluice (2) for discharging bulk material, in particular fibers, from a cyclone device comprises a circumferential wall (4) in the form of a curved bendable band, which defines a generally cylindrical chamber (10) with an inlet (38) for receiving bulk material from the cyclone device and an outlet (14) for discharging bulk material substantially tangentially from the cylindrical chamber. A sluice wheel (16) is rotatable in the chamber about a vertical axis (12) extending through the center of the sluice wheel for sluicing the bulk material in batches from the inlet through the chamber to the outlet. The inlet (38) is situated centrally above the sluice wheel for supplying bulk material substantially axially to the slice wheel.

  • Patent number: 4316681
Abstract: A blending equipment mounted on the ceiling of a blending bin has a conveyor airduct for introducing materials or raw cotton from the exterior of the blending bin into the interior thereof. The conveyor airduct has a lower end with which one end of a spreader outlet is communicated, the other end of the spreader outlet being opened laterally within the blending bin. The opening of the spreader outlet turns round a vertical axis. A lower member of the spreader outlet defining the opening is moved up and down. Rotation of the spreader outlet and oscillation of the lower member of the spreader outlet are effected simultaneously. Thus, the materials fed into the blending bin through the conveyor airduct are evenly scattered from the opening of the spreader outlet not only at a position below the blending equipment but also set positions more remote therefrom.

  • Patent number: 4216914
Abstract: The spreader assembly is located below the central fill opening in the roof of a circular grain or storage bin for evenly distributing the grain over the floor area of the bin. Grain is directed downwardly into a rotatable funnel shaped hopper, the bottom end of which is rigidly secured to the upper end of a downwardly inclined longitudinally adjustable distributor member provided on the top surface thereof with side by side longitudinally extended trough means of progressively decreasing length and width from one side of the distributor member to the opposite side thereof. On reaching the lower ends of the trough means the downwardly moving grain is deflected toward the opposite side of the distributor member for discharge into the bin. The grain deflecting action rotates the funnel member and distributor member as a unit at a speed of rotation which is in direct response to the volume rate of material being supplied to the hopper member.

  • Patent number: 4159151
Abstract: An overhead silo filling device for uniformly distributing ensilage and particulate materials in substantially symmetrical concentric fashion around a central axis of silos and the like comprises a hollow chamber with a discharge outlet at the lower end and adapted to be centered above the surface of the material in the silo. The chamber is supported in an opening in the silo roof structure and includes an upper section, an inwardly and downwardly sloping frusto-conical intermediate section and a lower discharge section which forms the discharge outlet for dispensing silage at the lower end. A material inlet conduit is secured to the upper section of the chamber for directing an inflow of material against an inside wall surface, and the inlet conduit slopes upwardly away from the upper section so that the material is directed downwardly into the chamber to form a downwardly spiralling path inside the chamber wall moving toward the discharge outlet.

  • Patent number: 4155602
Abstract: Trash removal apparatus in a sugar cane harvester comprises an axial flow extractor fan having multiple blades to draw trash out of harvested cane and to discharge it through a duct on the pressure side of the fan. The duct is in the form of a helical trash guide member which collects the trash out of the air flow and discharges the trash laterally. The diameter of the fan blades is chosen so as to leave a relatively large annular gap between their ends and the wall of the duct through which most of the trash passes thereby reducing power consumption by the fan.
