The generator converts the mechanical energy into electrical energy. The system also includes a charging circuit for each of the first type of battery and the second type of battery.

    Abstract: An residual feed pick-up system for poultry farming utilizes a tractor and trailer combination in which the blower for a pneumatic conveyor is mounted on the trailer. The hydraulic motor that drives the blower is also located on the trailer. Feed pick-up can be effected by the trailer accompanied by a standard over-the-road tractor equipped with a conventional and economically available hydraulic power takeoff unit commonly known as a PTO. The feed supplier to the poultry farm can use any of such commonly configured tractors in its normal operating fleet combined with the trailer having the onboard hydraulically driven blower for low-volume, residual feed pick-up service, thereby increasing reliability and availability of the service at advantageously low cost.

The rear wall of the truck box includes an intake aperture to receive the discharge end of the flexible discharge conduit for blowing leaves into the truck box.

    Abstract: A storage system for storing continuous lengths of rigid pipe, particularly for storage of pipe prior to the spooling of the pipe onto the pipe storage reel of a marine pipelay vessel. The system comprises a loop of rail track with a plurality of rail bogies arranged around the circumference of the loop. The bogies are adapted to retain and receive multiple turns of the length of pipe extending around the loop. The radius of curvature of the loop is selected such that the bending of the pipe around the loop does not result in plastic deformation of the pipe. Arrangements for loading and offloading the pipe may include: a pipe guide suspended from a gantry spanning the track and a pipe loading/offloading path; pipe tensioning means located downstream of the pipe guide in the offloading direction; and an "expansion arc" extending from the loading/offloading point to allow variations in the length of the pipeline path extending from the loop to a vessel mooring location.

Energy is supplied to a motor to operate a gas pump to induce high velocity gas flow through a long vacuum conduit. At a vacuum intake end such flow entrains such material and conveys such material into and through such conduit to one or more separators communicating serially with the flow path for separating and collecting the excavant, then such gas is discharged into the atmosphere. At least one separator includes a high-efficiency cyclone chamber for maintaining a gas vortex for high-efficiency centrifugal separation with minimal flow-resistance.

A linkage capture apparatus is attached to the platform. In use the device is inserted under a hose hauler, anchored and the linkage capturing apparatus is raised until the linkage is secured.     Abstract: A conveyor apparatus for moving a slurry line supported above the ground by a plurality of wheeled carts which are interconnected by one or more linkages, through a 180.degree. bend by having a disc journaled to a platform through the axis of the disc. Notches are formed in the periphery of the disc for receiving a wheel and a portion of the cart which extends outward from the linkage. Linkage retaining means extends from the periphery above and below the linkage and traps the linkage against the disc during the 180.degree. bend. On each side of the platform, below the linkage is attached a guide means to insure that the linkage is properly positioned both vertically and horizontally for mating with the linkage engaging apparatus which is attached to the disc periphery.
