A pallet is inserted into the bay with the outboard edges under the cams urging the downwardly oriented extended portions to turn to accommodate distortions of the outboard edges, rotating the cams. The extended portions of the cams with shock absorbing bumpers lie on the upper surface of the pallet restraining the vertical movement of the pallets.
