Abstract: A screw hole seal structure seals a screw hole (13) in molding a fiber-reinforced resin member (1) in which an insert member (4) provided with the screw hole (13) is integrally incorporated. In the structure, a screw member (5) is tightened in the screw hole (13). In the structure, an elastic seal member (6) is compressed within the screw hole (13), in an axial direction of the screw member (5), and is therefore deformed radially outwards by compression force that is created by tightening of the screw member (5), and an air-tight state of the screw hole (13) is maintained by deformation of the elastic seal member (6).

Abstract: A device for fastening equipment parts such as photovoltaic panels on a sandwich or single-shell building envelope using a plurality of fastening elements (20, 20?) in the form of bolts, which can be supported at least by a connection part (30, 30?) and on a load-bearing part (12) of the building or the building envelope. If an outer shell (14) is present, the fastening elements (20, 20?) can be guided through the outer shell (14) and supported on the load-bearing part (12) and/or the outer shell (14). Each fastening element (20, 20?) can be positively engaged with the connection part (30, 30?) and/or, if present, with the outer shell (14) so as in each case to support the connection part (30, 30?) on the load-bearing part (12) and, if present, on the outer shell (14).

Abstract: In accordance with exemplary embodiments, a system for isolating magnesium components from fastener devices is provided to prevent corrosion. The system comprises an isolation member of a metal other than magnesium and configured within a hole for receiving the fastener formed in a magnesium component. A compressible sealing washer having a first diameter is positioned over the hole and an isolation washer having a second diameter being less than the first diameter, and consisting of a similar metal as the isolation member, is placed over the compressible sealing washer. The fastener passes through the isolation washer, the compressible sealing washer and the isolation member within the hole, where is it tightened to compress the compressible sealing washer between the isolation member and isolation washer forming a water-tight seal around the hole to resist corrosion of the magnesium component.
