Abstract: Disclosed is a lift elevator that utilizes a winch motor and a moveable platform. The lift Elevator includes cables, tubular frame and guides. These provide controls to a platform upon which a bucket of additives can be loaded into a cement truck mixer. To maintain ease of operation, control switches are placed at both top and bottom of the device. These controls allow upward and downward motion. They are also automatically stopped at both top and bottom of the motion by limit switches. Also provided are E-stop switches in case an emergency stop is required. By placing additional operator safety belts, connected to a “Dead Man” Switch, greater operation safety is provided. All switches have “wash down” capability for additional protection, increased durability and life cycle. There would also be a light in the cab of said vehicle showings its operator that everything was locked in the proper position and its truck could now be moved.

  • Patent number: 6702135
Abstract: The invention is a universal dumpster adapted for use with both conventional front loading and roll-off refuse collection trucks. A universal dumpster according to this invention includes a floor, a pair of side walls, and a pair of end walls. The floor, side walls and end walls together define an interior compartment for collecting and containing solid waste. Sleeves rotatably mounted to the side walls engage the lifting arms of a front loading truck. At least one of the end walls includes a door that is movable between a first fully closed position and a second fully opened position for depositing solid waste into the dumpster and discharging the solid waste from the dumpster. The rotatable sleeves reduce the forces exerted on the lifting arms of the front loading truck. Accordingly, the capacity of the dumpster may be increased.

  • Patent number: 5288196
Abstract: An apparatus for collecting and transporting recyclable waste material which includes a body for receiving material mountable to a vehicle. The body has separate upper and lower material-receiving compartments. Two longitudinally-spaced loaded openings are at the top of the body. One opening is in continuous communication with only the lower compartment, and the second opening, positioned rearward of the first opening, is in continuous communication with only the upper compartment. Separate doors close the rear of each compartment; the second door, when closed, overlies and is spaced from the first door. A bucket, associated with the front of the body, can be raised, lowered and tipped, and has separate bins for receiving material. The bins are aligned with the loaded openings when the bucket is in the tipped, discharge position so that each bin can dump material into a corresponding compartment.
