  • Patent number: 10703396
Abstract: A beverage keg dolly (BKD) system/method providing for transportation of a beverage keg (BK) in tight quarters is disclosed. The system/method integrates a dolly frame spine (DFS), axial wheel assembly (AWA), radial wheel assembly (RWA), keg alignment handle (KAH), keg engagement hook (KEH), beverage keg cradle (BKC), and vertical rotation handle (VRH). BK transportation uses the KAH to engage/cradle the KEH to a BK within the BKC. Once cradled by the BKC, the BK is lifted off the ground and supported by the AWA via depression of the VRH. The BK axially rotates about the AWA by the VRH until the BK center of gravity transitions a vertical equipoise plane (VEP) extending from the AWA. The weight of the BK is then supported by the AWA and the RWA. Transportation and/or circular rotation of the BK may then be affected by rotation/movement of the VRH.

  • Patent number: 9340067
Abstract: A tire handling tool used to assist a worker in positioning a tire from the horizontal or lying position to a vertical position. The tire handling tool generally including a first member connected to a second member, the second member defines a spacing, and further includes at least one stop. The second member includes a first end attached to the first member and a second end having a first bracket with wheels. The first member defines a second end that includes a second bracket having a roller member. A tubular member is attached to the first member and passes through the spacing of the second member. Urging the tool in a forward direction causes the tubular member to travel along the spacing towards the first bracket for receiving a tire that is in the lying position, and then urging the first member in a backward direction lifts the tire to a vertical position.

  • Patent number: 8191928
Abstract: A machine includes a frame having a payload portion, an operator cab, and a crane disposed on a base connected to the frame between the payload portion and the operator cab. The machine further includes a headboard assembly connected to the frame and disposed between the base and the payload portion. A stabilizing pin arrangement includes a floating connection arrangement connecting the headboard assembly to the frame. The floating connection arrangement includes at least two resilient elements, each of the two resilient elements being disposed on either side of a member connected to the headboard assembly.

  • Patent number: 6575690
Abstract: This invention relates to a two-wheeled cart with an extended handle for the levered lifting and balanced moving of bales, such as bales of hay. More particularly, hay baled in the form of a rectangular solid is received by the cart at a hay-bale-receiving loader frame and lifted from the ground under leverage about the wheels applied from the handle used for pulling the cart. Once the bale is lifted by the handle and centrally balanced on an axle between the wheels of the cart, the hay-bale-receiving loader frame on the cart can be pivoted in a plane parallel to the axle of the cart. This pivot can occur from a lifting disposition where the major axis of a bale receiving frame is parallel to the axle between the wheels, to a transport disposition where the major axis of the hay-bale-receiving loader frame is normal to the axle between the wheels.

  • Patent number: 6062802
Abstract: A paver installer (10) is described for receiving and carrying a paver from one location to another location. The paver installer has frame (12) comprising a pair of spaced apart frame members (18) and a longitudinal axis disposed between. To add strength, at least one brace member (24) is disposed between the frame members. Proximate the lower portion of the frame is a wheel assembly(26). So that pavers (62) can be place on pedestals (72) having varying heights above grade, the paver installer has a U-shaped platform (46) slidably mounted to the facing away from the wheel assembly. Substantially cylindrically shaped sleeves (54) are mounted to the platform which respectively slidably engage the frame members. To move the platform along the longitudinal axis, a self locking screw lift (34) is mounted to the at least one brace member and the platform. A shim (60) is provided on the platform to prevent damage to the paver and provide an adjustable fit.
