Power-driven Conveyors Patents (Class 414/502)
  • Patent number: 11958701
Abstract: The present invention describes a bulk fluid (wet or dry) cargo distribution terminal (10). The distribution terminal has a silo storage area (10A), a compartmentalized area (10B) which has designated inspecting, refilling and delivering/stacking stations (10C-10E). These storage and compartment areas are protected by fortified walls (11a-11e). Adjacent to the inspecting, refilling and delivering stations is a driveway (14). Trailers and prime movers carry IMO tanks and/or freight containers (22) for refilling or delivering. Located at entry and exit points of the driveway are guard-houses (72a,72b) to ensure safe operation at the distribution terminal. Overhead cranes (41a-41c) serve mechanical handling at the various stations and driveway.

  • Patent number: 11708670
Abstract: Particulate infill from a worn down infilled artificial turf, particularly a sand/rubber mixture which includes crumb rubber from vehicle tires, is extracted from a prior field and then thereafter incorporated into the top surface of the compacted base at the same site, thereby to assure better drainage conditions in the compacted base for the subsequently installed field. The extracted and incorporated infill helps to maintain open drainage channels throughout the top of the compacted base, particularly in areas where limestone is prevalent. Otherwise, the limestone “fines” are susceptible to compacting and creating a cement-like crust at the top of the base. An existing infill extractor/collector device is modified to operate in a second mode, so that instead of merely performing the conventional bagging of the already-used infill, the already-used infill is laterally diverted back on to the base at the same site, and thereafter, distributed and tilled into the base.

  • Patent number: 7198449
Abstract: Disclosed is an improved grain unloader for off-loading (unloading) grain from a grain bin carried by one or more of a combine or a grain cart. A second grain movement assembly is coupled in parallel to the first grain movement assembly so that both grain movement assemblies can simultaneously off-load the grain bin. A third grain movement assembly feeds the second grain movement assembly. The first and second grain movement assemblies move together from a stowage position to an unloading position. The third grain assembly can only feed the second grain transfer assembly when the second grain assembly is in the off-load position.

  • Patent number: 7040980
Abstract: A combine harvester for harvesting grain and seed crops includes a double unloading auger system for unloading in both directions of travel harvested feed grains produced in one round or two lengths of a field to storage area of transport vehicle. The double unloading auger system has a first main unloading auger assembly being selectively operable for discharging the harvested grain from a first side of the combine harvester to the transport vehicle and a second main unloading auger assembly being selectively operable for discharging the harvested grain from a second side of the combine harvester to the transport vehicle. A pair of transverse auger is located in a bottom wall of the grain tank and is selectively reversibly driven for delivery of the harvested grain from the grain tank to either the first main unloading auger assembly or the second main unloading auger assembly.

  • Patent number: 7025556
Abstract: An agricultural transfer table enables rapid transfer of harvested agricultural material from a dump truck to a silo or the like. The agricultural transfer table comprises a box with an open front end. Apron chains in the box propel the material to the box back end, where cross chains discharge the material out a selected side. A prime mover and hydraulic system are part of the agricultural transfer table, so no source of external power is required to operate it. A tongue is closeable to enable the agricultural transfer table to be towed by a tractor. The tongue is openable to allow the truck to back up close to the agricultural transfer table front end. The front end is tiltable downwardly toward the ground. The truck back wheels back up ramps at the front box end. The ramps are storable inside the box when the agricultural transfer table is towed.

Abstract: An improved combination of a powered combine carrying a combine grain bin for housing harvested grain and a towed grain cart carrying a grain cart bin for housing harvested grain includes improved harvested grain transfer between the combine grain bin and the grain cart bin and improved off-loading of harvested grain from the combination. A generally horizontally disposed first grain movement assembly is pivotally connected within the combine grain bin and pivotally connected within the grain cart bin and disposed for reciprocally transporting grain between the combine grain bin and the grain cart bin. A generally vertically disposed second grain movement assembly is cooperatively operable with the first grain movement assembly for transferring grain from the grain cart bin to the first grain movement assembly and thence to the combine grain bin. An off-loading grain movement assembly is disposed for off-loading grain only from the combine grain bin.

  • Patent number: 6881022
Abstract: A combined dump truck and spreader apparatus is disclosed for selectively dumping and spreading materials. The apparatus includes a truck chassis and a body for receiving and dispensing the materials. The body has a first and a second end and a first and second curved side wall. The body is secured to the chassis and a tailgate is secured to the first end of the body. An auger arrangement is disposed within the body and extends between the first and second ends thereof for transporting the materials along the body. The tailgate defines an opening which co-operates with the auger arrangement for permitting the flow therethrough of the materials. The arrangement is such that selective spreading and dumping of the materials from the opening is permitted.

  • Patent number: 6814532
Abstract: A self-unloading, bottom-discharge trailer and a discharge conveyor therefore, are provided. In a working position, the discharge conveyor transports material from a trailer container upwards beyond the rear of the trailer for depositing into storage. In a transport position, a rear section of the discharge conveyor is folded downwards into a substantially vertical position, resting against the rear of the trailer frame and not substantially protruding beyond the back of the trailer. The frame may include a recess sized to accommodate the rear section such that the rear section is substantially flush with the rear of the frame. Consequently, the trailer may remain in compliance with highway safety regulations.
