  • Patent number: 10781059
Abstract: A bag in which a content is put and of which a mouth portion is not sealed, is disposed in a substantially horizontal attitude in a takeoff area. A height direction position of an expected hold part of the bag and a height direction position of a hold member are caused to correspond to each other. The hold member is caused to hold the expected hold part of the bag disposed in the takeoff area in a state where the height direction position of the expected hold part of the bag and the height direction position of the hold member correspond to each other. The hold member is moved to transfer the bag from the takeoff area to a delivery area after the hold member holds the expected hold part of the bag disposed in the takeoff area.

  • Patent number: 8870519
Abstract: A carton feeding system is provided for feeding selected cartons from a stack of cartons contained within a carton magazine to a downstream carton conveyor such as for a product packaging machine. A carton picking device removes a selected carton from the stack of cartons within the magazine, after which the carton is engaged between a carton engaging segment of the primary segment wheel and a draw roller, which pulls the carton from the magazine and feeds the carton along a first path of travel. Thereafter, a secondary segment wheel engages and redirects a leading portion of the carton toward a second path of travel. The carton then is fed along its second path of travel toward engagement between a pair of downstream nip rolls that feed the carton into the downstream carton conveyor.

  • Publication number: 20030091424
Abstract: An intermediate guide member is provided attachable and removable between a head portion and a supporting frame of a stocker for printing plates. A number of intermediate guide members is an element to set a time of starting downward movement of hooks supporting a leading end of a printing plate. Three conditions in accordance with lengths of non-detection times are set for detecting the printing plate to judge authenticity of the detection. When the hooks reach vicinities of stoppers provided at supporting bars of a reversal unit, the hooks swing, are pulled-in from above the slope, and transfer the printing plate to the stoppers. Thereafter, by rotating the supporting bars and the stoppers integrally around a shaft, the printing plate is pivoted over toward a back plate, and a lower end of the printing plate is transferred from the stoppers to a receiving plate without damaging the printing plate.
